Fairmont Makati

I stayed at Fairmont Hotel Makati for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff went above and beyond to make my day special. The amenities, especially the pool and breakfast buffet, were top-notch. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing birthday staycation.

This hotel met all of my expectations ; from the warm welcome of the concierge at the airport to the CO shuttle from the hotel. The CI with Ben was smooth and made me feel welcome from the start. And the massages were divine. A bit desappointed that i couldnt enjoy the exterior swimming pool first due to the weather and then due to a private event. But itll be for next time. Also id have prefered the minibar being refilled everytime the room is being cleaned instead of being on request. Overall, ill definitely be back soon, for a longer period of time.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with my family last month at Fairmont Makati. The team was super hospitable and really flexible with all our requests. One of the managers from T&C even gave me a complimentary cake from the café after finding out it was my birthday during a casual chat—such a sweet gesture! Everyone was so warm and welcoming, which made the whole stay extra special. Overall, it was such a memorable way to celebrate, and I’d definitely love to visit again in the future! :)

What impressed me most is the hotel’s prime location right at the heart of Makati, close to luxury shopping, fine dining, and the bustling business district. The facilities are very well maintained, showcasing a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, and I also noticed a great mix of expat guests, which made the environment vibrant and cosmopolitan. A special shout-out to the amazing staff who truly elevated my stay. JAJA, the ever-smiling and friendly front desk officer, was absolutely outstanding. From check-in to departure, her warmth and attentiveness made me feel valued as a guest. I’d also like to extend my gratitude to Francis (from Isabela) and Giselle (from Bulacan) from concierge department both were consistently helpful, respectful, and quick to extend a hand whenever needed. Their genuine hospitality reflects the Filipino brand of service at its best, and it’s something that makes Fairmont stand out. The only downsides for me: the TV in the room isn’t a smart TV (which I found a bit disappointing, especially for a five-star property), and the check-in/out policy could be better. Check-in at 3 PM feels a bit late, while the 11 AM checkout feels too early. Overall, I’d still highly recommend Fairmont Makati for anyone visiting the city—it’s a wonderful place with world-class service, and the staff really make the difference!

Celebrated my pre-birthday last weekend at Fairmont and I had a blast! Staff were hospitable and always greeted with a smile. I especially enjoyed the mango cheesecake from Cafe Macaron, the buffet breakfast, and the swimming pool. ‘Til next time, Fairmont!
