Was a guest at the hotel as we held our conference there. Rooms are superb, dinning experience quite good, and the hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful. A shout out to Ron Cruz the duty manager who went out of the way help with some last minute requests. He not only addressed them promptly, but was himself involved in making sure nothing went wrong. Thank you!!

SERVICE Excellent service. You can’t walk down the common/ground floor halls without being greeted by at least 2 staff members. If you seem lost or are figuring things out, someone will immediately approach to help you. Efficient, quick, warm. Note that hospitality is a given in the Philippines. It’s in their DNA. This hotel demonstrates this well and consistently. ROOM Layout and Space - Pretty standard. Nothing spectacular. Not spacious. No welcome fruit or chocolates that you might see in other hotels in Asia. - View is not great. AMENITIES Excellent amenities which include: - Iron and board - Umbrella - Shoe shine kit - Yoga mat - More than usual toiletries - Usual hair dryer, safe, mini bar We didn’t try their food because of the many food options steps away from the hotel. POOL. Nothing great. Narrow. Lap pool. LOBBY Comfy. Small. No wow factor. Lots of attentive staff. Coffee shop and hotel restaurant available. GYM I don’t do gyms but I shared photos here. A friend says it’s a good gym. Whatever that means. SPA Excellent luxury spa facilities. Their massages tend to be on the extra strong side so if you bruise easily be clear that you don’t want it too strong. I’ll share more details and photos in my spa review. LOCATION Steps away from Landmark which is a cheap department store and supermarket where you can buy dried mangoes and locals snacks; or buy all sorts of things you might need: bathing suit, summer clothes, flip flops etc. Greenbelt is the shopping complex across the street that has good restaurants and Ayala Museum (if you’re traveling with kids they have a fun diorama of Philippine history). If you end up here take note of these must try restaurants nearby: - El Cirkulo (excellent Spanish food) - Milky Way (excellent Filipino food; known to have the best halo-halo Filipino dessert) - People’s Palace (thai food; must try their Pomelo salad!) - Mamou (local version of Peter Luger steak; must try their Lorenzo truffle pasta)

Very friendly warm and welcoming, Katherine and Leah at the front door were all smiles and made me feel at home. Although I don’t know if I’ll remember how to open a door after being at this hotel, everyone was always doing little things for me and being so ni e and friendly

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont, its in a great location opposite Greenbelt and next to Glorietta mall. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety- multiple yoghurts and cereals, fresh fruit, salads, cold meats, variety of bread and pastries, Indian and Chinese cuisine and the usual western buffet spread. It has a well equipped gym which was never crowded and overall staff were lovely. Will definitely stay here again.

Coming back to Fairmont Makati honestly felt like returning home. It’s hands down one of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever stayed at — not just because of the beautiful space, but because of the people. The service, the warmth, the attention to detail… it’s on another level. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and such a warm welcome — from the reception to the security staff, everyone made me feel like a VIP. And then you meet the leaders behind it all, and it just makes sense. Aubrey, the hotel manager, sets such a high standard. You can feel her influence in every corner of the hotel — professional, polished, and kind. Lovely, who manages Food & Beverage, made every meal feel like an experience, and her energy is just so welcoming. And Nicky, in charge of the bars, brings a personal touch and a great vibe to every interaction. They don’t just do their jobs — they clearly love what they do, and it shows. The Gold Level team is phenomenal — always present, always smiling, and always going the extra mile. Whether it’s breakfast or an evening wind-down, the level of care and thought that goes into everything is unreal. If I had to sum up this hotel in three words: Incredible. Amazing. Unforgettable. I’ve stayed in a lot of places, but Fairmont Makati is truly something special. I can’t wait to come back again.
