Stay was perfect overall. During our first week of January stay, we were pleasantly upgraded—thank you to Janine from the Front Office for the thoughtful gesture. There was a certain smell in the room, but DM Inah promptly checked on us and even offered a late check-out, though we had to leave early. Much appreciated. Special thanks as well to Dewey and Francis from Concierge for their assistance. On our last stay during the third week of January, we were again upgraded, this time to a room with a beautiful pool view. Our request for a late check-out was granted, which we truly appreciated. However, there were no amenities set up in the room despite being a Silver member and a birthday celebrant. We had to request this from Royal Service—thank you to Borge for making the effort to arrange it. A heartfelt thank you to DM Inah, who once again took great care of us, and to Francis from Concierge for his consistent support. Also, special mention to Govind and Ron Cruz from the Front Office for their assistance. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service from the team. 😊

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I travel frequently)!!! Absolutely love the hotel, food and service. We had a very delayed flight (multiple times delays) and they were on top of everything and right there to pick us up and get us our rooms immediately! Anything you needed, they were there instantly! The concierge team was fabulous and helpful! There is not one employee in that hotel that didn't say hello and always asking if we needed anything. We felt like VIP's! The hotel breakfast is the best we've ever had! There are so many choices and made to order choices that anyone can find plenty to eat! We had NYE dinner at Mireio and it was spectacular! Enjoyed talking with the executive chef and staff! The rooms were quiet, comfortable, large and had everything you needed! My daughter's family needed a rollaway bed and they said it was like a "real" bed, not the thin mattress rollaways you usually get. I can't say enough good things about the hotel, service, food and employees! Thank you for a great trip!

My husband and I have been staying at Fairmont Makati for over a decade and once again, this stay has reminded us exactly why we remain so loyal. We have just checked in for a short three night visit before heading back to Melbourne, and from the very beginning the experience has been flawless. A special mention must go to Sam Gil, Guest Experience Lead. From coordinating our arrival and departure details ahead of time, to ensuring our requested floor was arranged, everything felt effortless. We were delighted to return to our room after drinks at Mistral to find a thoughtful welcome amenity waiting for us, and Sam even rang shortly after we checked in just to make sure everything had gone smoothly. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Since Sam began working across both Fairmont and Raffles Makati, the uplift in service standards has been genuinely noticeable. His leadership, attention to detail and genuine passion for guest experience shine through in every interaction. We would also like to commend Roza at Mistral, who was absolutely wonderful. Warm, professional and attentive, she made our evening at the rooftop bar even more memorable. After so many years of staying here, it is comforting to know that Fairmont Makati continues to deliver not just beautiful rooms, but exceptional people. Service like this is what turns a hotel stay into a relationship. We will always come back.

From walking into the Fairmont to entering our room , the service was outstanding The nice smell of the hotel and elegance of the foyer was pleasant to experience. The high ceiling in the bedroom administration, made the room feel grand Fairmont won’t disappoint you

I stayed at the Fairmont Makati hotel during the Christmas holiday for 6 nights. While the hotel has always been okay, my experience was truly elevated by the staff. One in particular is Ben Misola (front desk). Ben was terrific in assisting me during check-in, even though it was late. My flight arrived at 10 pm, and Ben ensured that my check-in (and out) was a breeze. This is important if you have just arrived on an international flight and are exhausted. I stay at the Fairmont each time I visit Manila because of its fabulous spa. Unfortunately, no one mentioned that the entire time I was there, the spa was undergoing repairs. I had to listen to hammering and pounding during my treatments, and the mineral pool and steam spa were closed. It would have been nice to have some communication from management about this. So if you are planning to stay here, check with the hotels first. The location is excellent, and the rooms are usually immaculate. In conclusion, friendly, professional, and invaluable staff, like Ben, who provides excellent service, made a big difference and are the reason for the 5-star rating. Staff like that really deserve recognition.
