Discovery Shores Boracay

Room was very clean and well maintained. Reception staff, housekeeping, etc was very warm and attentive. The Osteria and 360 staff were good as well but the staff in Sands bar were just awful. It’s either they are extremely understaffed or they hate working there. Cocktails take forever. During breakfast certain dishes run out and it takes a long time to refill. The tables take forever to get cleaned even if there are people waiting. No one seems to like to clean the tables. They expect you to get water in the beverage station so you need to refill many times as the glass provided for is small. They would seat you at the table and provide utensils 20 mins after. Terrible, terrible service!!! Dear Discovery management, please change your manager for that place as it ruins the hotel experience for your guests. Even if the other departments are wonderful. Also the supervisor or manager (a guy in a floral shirt) walks around the place just saying hi not making sure everything is running smoothly. Guess who gives the best service in Sands? The ladies in white! The trainees. Go figure why that is. I’ve stayed in Crimson, Shangri-la and Astoria and even Astoria which is half the price of Discovery has better service in their restaurant. Osteria and 360 was great though!

I recently stayed at Discovery Suites Boracay and honestly had a really great experience overall. What stood out the most was their excellent, non-parallel customer service — it felt genuinely personalised. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of, which made a big difference throughout the stay. The room was another highlight. It was surprisingly big, super clean, and very comfortable — definitely more spacious than I expected for a Boracay property. It made it easy to relax after a long day out. One thing I really appreciated was the shuttle service. It was so convenient and made getting around much easier, especially when you don’t feel like walking too far under the sun. If I had to point out something, I’d say that some areas of the hotel could use a bit of updating. It’s nothing major and didn’t affect the overall experience, but a refresh here and there would make it even better. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you value great service and a comfortable stay.

The place itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. The rooms were always well kept, cozy, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the outstanding service from the staff. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. During breakfast, Marian and Joemar took great care of us and made sure we were well attended to. At the beachfront, Gen and Jigs were absolutely the best—special mention to Gen for going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. During pool hours, Rowel, Ernest and Paul were also very attentive and friendly. The spa experience was also wonderful—Ms. Kim warmly welcomed us and made us feel relaxed right away, and Sarah gave one of the best, most relaxing massages i’ve had. Overall, the service was top-notch, and it’s clear that the team genuinely cares about their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Boracay!

Our stay in Discovery Boracay was nothing short of perfect as always. This is truly our home away from home. From the location, staff who have turned into family, the amenities, and the fantastic service, Discovery Boracay will always and forever be our number 1 choice when coming to visit the island. Discovery Boracay has the best location at Station 1. Beachfront is one of the best and is less crowded. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Airport transfer was a breeze thanks to their well organized and professional team. Cheers also to the beach attendant Gen, Lozel, and security for taking care of their guests.
