He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and always greeted us with the biggest smile. His passion for creating unforgettable experiences is remarkable. Thank you to Saleq, our room attendant, for taking such incredible care of our villa. Every day we returned to a beautifully prepared room that was spotless, immaculate, and welcoming. Your attention to detail and pride in your work never went unnoticed. To Kiki , Kamal and Hamad at Dhoni Bar—thank you for making every afternoon by the pool even more enjoyable. From delicious lunches to refreshing drinks in the Maldivian sunshine, your outstanding service, warm smiles, and genuine friendliness made every visit a highlight of our day. An unforgettable stay in paradise! The resort and facilities were absolutely stunning. A huge thank you to Fara, our host, whose genuine care and exceptional service made us feel so welcome. Also, to the tall Thai chef at the egg station in Fushi Restaurant, who greeted us every morning with the warmest smile, and Margarita at the Dhigu gift shop for all the laughs and wonderful service. The only area for improvement would be the friendliness and efficiency of some of the Fushi breakfast staff. Overall, an incredible experience i can't wait to return!

We had such a great short staycation here and enjoyed every moment of it. From the time we arrived until we left, we felt so comfortable, relaxed, and well looked after. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly and welcoming. At the lounge, Rafeeq greeted us with a warm smile and immediately assisted us. When we arrived at the resort, we received a lovely welcome and met Joelle, who was very kind. A special thank you goes to our amazing villa host, Farangis. She took great care of us throughout our stay, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. We also met Shameem who was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel even more at home. Our villa was absolutely beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. We’d also like to thank our room attendant (we’re sorry we can’t remember his name) for keeping our villa spotless throughout our stay. The food was another highlight of our trip. We had dinner at Origami, and was delicious. Miko and Lyss provided excellent service and were both so warm and hospitable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Although our stay was short, it was truly memorable. Every member of the team made us feel welcome, and their genuine hospitality made all the difference. Our stay at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable holidays we have ever experienced. We chose this beautiful resort to celebrate my 50th birthday and to spend some quality time together as a couple, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, kindness and heartfelt hospitality. What impressed us most was the curiosity and sincerity of the staff. They didn’t simply provide excellent service, they took the time to get to know us, remembered our names, asked about our day and shared in our experiences. It created such a personal atmosphere that we genuinely felt like part of the Anantara Veli family rather than just another pair of guests. A very special thank you goes to Ali, our resort host. He was simply outstanding throughout our stay. He was always available, incredibly attentive and proactive, making sure every detail of our holiday was taken care of. Whether it was answering questions, arranging activities or simply checking that everything was perfect, nothing was ever too much trouble. Ali’s professionalism, warmth and genuine care made a huge difference to our experience. We would also like to recognise the incredible team at Cumin restaurant. Logu, the restaurant manager, leads a fantastic team who consistently delivered exceptional service with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. Every meal felt special, not just because of the food but because of the people serving it. As lifelong vegetarians, we often find resorts can be repetitive after a few days. That was certainly not the case here. A huge thank you to Chef Kranthi, whose creativity, passion and attention to detail meant every meal was exciting and beautifully prepared. The variety of dishes, authentic flavours and willingness to create something different each day was remarkable. We genuinely looked forward to every breakfast and dinner at Cumin. The Yoga and Spa teams also deserve special recognition. The yoga sessions were peaceful, expertly guided and became one of the highlights of each morning. Practising yoga with a stunning view over the beach while listening to the gentle sound of the waves made each session incredibly calming and deeply relaxing. They allowed us to slow down, reconnect and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. The spa treatments were equally exceptional, professional, relaxing and restorative and left us feeling completely refreshed. One experience that will stay with us forever was the snorkelling programme. My wife was understandably nervous about snorkelling in open water, but Affan, our snorkelling instructor, was exceptional. His calm, patient and encouraging approach completely transformed her confidence. He took the time to explain everything, never rushed her, and made her feel safe every step of the way. Thanks to Affan’s expert guidance, she went from feeling anxious to confidently swimming alongside reef sharks and graceful stingrays, something she never imagined she would do. Watching her overcome that fear became one of the most special memories of our trip, and we are incredibly grateful to Affan for making it possible. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The island is immaculate, every path and public area is meticulously maintained, and the villas are modern, spacious, stylish and spotlessly clean. You can see the pride every member of the team takes in maintaining such an incredible environment. Combined with the crystal-clear lagoon and breathtaking scenery, Anantara Veli truly feels like paradise. What made this holiday especially meaningful was that it gave my wife and me the opportunity to reconnect. Life can often become busy, and this week allowed us to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and make memories together as we celebrated my milestone 50th birthday. We returned home feeling rested, grateful and closer than when we arrived. To everyone at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, thank you.
