Anantara Veli Maldives Resort

We had the best honeymoon on Anatara Veli. From when we first arrived, our host; Ibrahim was so nice and welcoming. He gave us a tour and was on hand via WhatsApp to take care of any restaurant reservations or tours we wanted to do. It took any stress of what to do away from the trip! We had a great “wine dinner” at Sea Fire Salt hosted by Kishore who had great knowledge of wine. The food was amazing and so was the wine. The highlight was the nurse shark snorkeling trip. To be able to swim with them and stingrays was truely remarkable. Shoutout to Mustafa who taught us how to free dive with snorkels ! The gyms on the island were great too, and did a couple boxing sessions with Midun who also gave his expertise in diet and wellness, some homework to take away! The two wellness centres were also a highlight especially on Dinghu as you could see fish and marine life whilst getting a massage. Overall the food and service was impeccable and would highly recommend. Shoutout to Kamal at Dhoni bar for making a great spicy marg!!

Wonderful celebratory trip made perfect by the amazing team here. The level of personal attention is to be commended across the board, from being met on arrival by the resort manager to the smiles and greetings from the maintenance staff. The whole team is professional, always friendly, superbly trained with nothing being too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

We have just returned to what has been our favourite holiday. The setting and restaurants are top class. But it really is the staff that have the lasting memories with us. You are assigned a host, we had Fathi, he was the fantastic. We just messaged him whenever we needed anything and he arranged it all within a few minutes. We were so impressed. The bar staff at Dhoni Bar made our evenings, they were so chatty, friendly and funny. Sujal, Ishara & Kareem were spot on. And a final mention to Logu in Cumin restaurant that went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. He would prepare us traditional Maldivian & Indian breakfasts to try along side our usual breakfast order. This was really thoughtful and we are glad we had the opportunity to do it.

The nature, the lagoon all was amazing but most important is, the service level, the friendliness of staff, our villa host ibrahim, were on a different level

A super peaceful spot with faultless travel transfers and very clean and private villas. Lots of choices of places to eat which made it fun.
