We recently returned from a stay that can only be described as a slice of paradise. If you are looking for an intimate, seamless, and deeply relaxing Maldivian experience, this is it. The Highlights: • Exclusive Island Feel: It felt like having our own private island. With very few guests, it was incredibly easy to move around and enjoy the peace and quiet. • The Best of Both Worlds: We loved the intimacy of our island, but having full access to the larger island, Dhigu, was a fantastic bonus for variety. • Our Villa Host, Faz: A massive, heartfelt thank you to Faz. She catered to our every whim with the most beautiful smile and ensured every detail of our stay was flawless. • Outstanding Staff: The service here is world-class. The staff are amazing in every detail—they always remembered our names and greeted us warmly. • A Food Lover’s Paradise: The dining options were a major highlight: • Cumin: The perfect breakfast (not a buffet!), offering incredible Indian spices and the complex flavors of Sri Lanka. A true gem. • Baan Huraa: Exceptional and authentic Thai food in a stunning setting. • Origami: Expertly prepared Japanese cuisine; the sushi and sashimi were fresh, and watching the skills of the Teppanyaki chefs was a real treat. • Wellness & Zen: * The Gym is brilliant and well-equipped. • The Spa and Yoga sessions were pure bliss. • The T’ai Chi experience was so profound that the memories are now embedded for life. • Perfect Location: Being located not far from Malé Airport made the transfer quick and stress-free. Verdict: An absolute must-visit. We left feeling refreshed and truly looked after.

We were really excited about this trip, especially since it was our honeymoon, and we had high expectations from the start. From the moment we arrived, everything felt right. She was incredibly kind, caring, and professional, and from day one she made us feel welcomed, relaxed, and completely taken care of. She was always there when we needed anything, always with a smile, making sure everything was perfect so we could just enjoy our time and not worry about a thing. Her personality and dedication made a huge difference, and we are truly grateful for everything she did for us. Location The location is fantastic. It’s close to the airport, which made traveling easy and stress-free, but once you arrive, it feels like you’re in a private paradise. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and full of stunning views that made our honeymoon feel even more special and romantic. Atmosphere The atmosphere was amazing from start to finish. Everything felt luxurious but also very comfortable and welcoming. From the warm greeting when we arrived to the smooth and well-organized transportation back, everything was effortless. The whole stay honestly felt like a dream. Rooms The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and extremely comfortable. They were modern, very clean, and had everything we needed. Anytime we asked for something extra, the staff did their best to help right away. It really felt like a perfect private space to relax and enjoy our honeymoon. Value The value is excellent when you consider the level of service and the people working there. Everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. From the restaurants and bars to special events and experiences. Cleanliness Everything was spotless. The villas, restaurants, bars, pools, and all common areas were extremely clean and well maintained. This made us feel very comfortable and at ease during our entire stay. Noise Level The noise level was perfect very peaceful and quiet. There was no noise at all, just the relaxing sound of the ocean, which made it ideal for rest and romance. Service The service was outstanding. Every staff member was polite, professional, and attentive. Once again, Phyu deserves special recognition for going above and beyond to make sure our honeymoon was stress-free and special. Her care and support truly left a lasting impression on us. Amenities The amenities were impressive. The resort includes four islands with more than seven restaurants, several bars, beautiful pools, a well-equipped gym, a playground, and plenty of outdoor games and activities. There was always something new to enjoy. As a final personal note, I even lost my glasses during our stay. I mentioned it to Phyu, and just later the staff were able to locate them and return them to me. That moment really showed us how attentive and caring the team is, and it made the whole experience feel even more special and stress-free.

“A very cozy hotel. The superior-category rooms are excellent. The beaches are beautiful, with calm waters and plenty of fish for those who enjoy snorkeling. The water sports service is outstanding — I was able to enjoy and learn how to use the flyboard, jet surf, and more. The restaurants are good, the hotel service is very good, all the staff are very friendly, and the concierge service is excellent.

We had an amazing stay at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We stayed in a Deluxe Water Villa with Pool, which was absolutely perfect. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views. Having a private pool over the water made our stay extra special and relaxing. The food was excellent throughout our visit. Lunch and dinner at Sea.Fire.Salt were outstanding, with great quality and flavors. A special highlight was Baan Huraa — the Thai food there was the best we’ve ever had, truly authentic and delicious. What really made our stay unforgettable was the people. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, always making us feel welcome. A very special thank you to Phyu, who took such wonderful care of us and truly made our stay exceptional. Her kindness, professionalism, and warm personality made a big difference. We leave with beautiful memories and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect Maldivian getaway. Everything was top notch from start to finish. The attention to detail, from the pickup at the airport to the variety of food on offer, the service of the staff in every location from the gym to the bar, The views are incredible, the sunsets, the experiences off the island. There was plenty of gluten free options for me, there was yoga, a good-sized gym. Always water available, the room was clean and comfortable. Fresh towels everywhere, enough chairs to sit by the pool, never a wait at the restaurants. The only downside is that anything you purchase outside of your meal plan is very expensive. However, I can't recommend it more,
