Beyond that, we have recommended Anantara Veli to any friends and family who will listen! The food was phenomenal, the accommodations gorgeous but the most impressive element was the team that works there. In particular, there are several staff members I would like to mention as their service and kindness was above expectations. Our host Fathi went above and beyond to make the stay special throughout, and our meals with Ibrahim at Cumin were phenomenal. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and we truly enjoyed every interation. Fon at the spa was so lovely that we went back to the spa three separate times in one week. Mehemed in Origami made our teppanyaki experience fun and delicious, and we loved his kind energy and the joy he brought to his work. Bokey at Cumin made a point to welcome us and share local cuisine recommendations, and finally Ashruf the Operations Manager should be commended for the team he's built and supported but beyond that, he took the time to chat with me at length about my own experience with hotels and running special events and the pride he carries for his work is exemplary. This entire team should be commended by elevating our trip to a location straight out of paradise, and along with their colleagues make this a top tier property. I travel around the world for work and have been to many high-end properties, and there is a special alchemy that comes from bringing the best people together and instilling pride in their craft that Anantara Maldives has mastered. Anantara Resort crafted a dream-perfect holiday for us. The breathtaking ocean views, clean and comfortable hotel environment, delicious food, and especially the genuinely friendly service from the staff all make us want to return. Our butler Faz& Maazin were extremely attentive and friendly. Not only did their efficiently handle all arrangements, but their also gave us many great tips. Their service truly enhanced our Maldivian experience.

My partner and I stayed at Anantara Veli for my birthday week and it was truly a spectacular experience. I really want to call out all the staff that made this week incredibly magical for me. Starting off with food (which is most important), we absolutely loved Cumin restaurant at Veli which had incredible and authentic dishes from India and Sri Lanka (they also accommodate dietary preferences like gluten and dairy free). We loved getting to know the staff better and where everyone is from - special shout out to Logu, Ziyan, Bokey, chef Elayaraja and chef Kranthi for making every visit to Cumin truly amazing! They were so kind and accommodating! Next up, fitness and wellness - we signed up for the PT and wellness sessions everyday - Midhun (PT) was very knowledgeable and gave us really good engaging workouts! He also customised it based on how we’re feeling on the day which really helped especially if you have a busy day ahead! Kruti from the wellness spa was really sweet and suggested really good massages and facials to try - special shout out to Derus, Aria, Irene and Ika - highly recommend them for your massages and facials! Veli has a ton of activities so you will definitely not be bored! I would recommend staying here minimum for 1 week to make best use of all the activities they have to offer. Lastly, Ali our villa host was a superman - he helped organise our schedules and was really flexible with timings. Super reliable and took all the stress of planning away! This is easily one of my best trips and I’m excited to come back soon!

Our stay at Anantara Veli was truly magical — from the moment we arrived until the last goodbye. The island is breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters, soft white sands, and a serene atmosphere that instantly calms the soul. What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality of the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. A special thanks to Thaarib Nd Ibrahim, who welcomed us so warmly and made every moment comfortable. Bokey was always there with a cheerful smile, ensuring everything was perfect. Ziyan took amazing care of us during our dining experiences, and Logu’s attention to detail and friendly nature made us feel at home. Pradeep deserves a special mention for his kindness and for arranging everything so smoothly. The villas are stunning, the food is exceptional, and the overall vibe of the resort is peaceful and luxurious. It’s a perfect escape for couples seeking romance, relaxation, and a touch of Maldivian magic. Thank you, Anantara Veli team, for an unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back!

It was my first time staying at Annatara, and my Veli housekeeper, Phyu, was incredibly thoughtful. When I asked to change my room type, she enthusiastically helped me find a replacement. When I noticed a smell in my room, she quickly resolved the issue and upgraded me to a sea villa. I'm very grateful to her. She also informed me of any activities and dinner reservations in advance, which was incredibly thoughtful.My room number is 156. It has a great location and is very spacious. When you open the balcony, you can see the scenery of the island.
