We spent 5 incredible days at Baglioni Resort Maldives with our two kids (ages 5 and 7), and it was truly a dream vacation from start to finish! Our overwater villa was pure serenity, the crystal-clear water and stunning views made every moment special. The kids absolutely loved the Kids Club and couldn’t wait each day to play with the kind and caring teachers. It was wonderful to see them so happy and engaged while we relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility. The service was outstanding, everyone we met was so attentive, warm, and eager to help with any request. The food was delicious at every restaurant: Mirto, Limonaia, Fuego, and Yama were all excellent, and the breakfast buffet at Taste was amazing. Dining on the beach under the stars was an unforgettable experience at Taste A very special thank you to Ali, Blacky, Diana, Gemma, and Vittoria for making our stay so memorable, all staff you went above and beyond and always showed kindness We’re already planning to come back next year with my parents, who have always dreamed of visiting the Maldives. We can’t imagine a better place than Baglioni to share that experience. 💙

Our trip to the Maldives was nothing short of magical! The turquoise water, the white sand, and the peaceful vibe made every moment feel like a dream. The villa was beautifully designed, and every sunrise looked like a painting. A special thank-you to our amazing butler Chingiz — he truly made our stay unforgettable. He was always attentive, thoughtful, and one step ahead of our needs. From arranging the perfect dinner by the beach to helping us plan daily activities, everything was handled with care and a big smile. We’re so grateful for his kindness and professionalism — he made us feel completely at home in paradise. 🌴✨

The scenery is fantastic, and the rooms and restaurants are excellent. The service is attentive, and everyone on the island is very friendly. The Japanese restaurant is extremely delicious, and the main restaurant is also very good. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

The reception area was gorgeous- built right into the natural beauty of the island. Very welcoming staff. Our "hut" over the water was beautiful, clean, very nice. HOWEVER, Baglioni-Maldives is not an all-inclusive as Palace members or those who have gone to Palace usually experience. There was a bottle of Proseco waiting for us and 2 beers in the refrigerator (as far as alcohol). That's it. No other alcohol and they did not and would not put any other alcohol your room (except to refill the beer [I guess they did; we are not beer drinkers]). They did have great snacks! They did have a bar which was part of the all-inclusive. Room service orders incurred a service charge!! If you ate at Yama, the Japanese, (amazing food, absolute best!!!), it was GIN drinks (Sorry, YUK!) but no other type of hard alcohol. Breakfast buffet was excellent but closes early, 10 am. Food choices are limited if you are not a lover of spiced, spicy or Indian food. I am allergic to all types of peppers except table pepper. We informed the staff of this allergy upon registration as they ask. First meal, I ordered a salad, did not see anything concerning; waiter asked about allergies, noted mine. Was served the salad: dressing was made of a paste of three different types of peppers which the Chef failed to inform us. SO DON'T TRUST A CHEF TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR ALLERGIES. LOOK UP EVERY ITEM YOU CANNOT IDENTIFY. Our waiter/beverage manager was Hari and he was devastated by the chef's lack of deligence and went above and beyond trying to rectify the issue. RAJU, was our all-around waiter/pool/everything person and worked so very hard to make everyday amazing. From one day to the next, he would remember everything we liked/wanted/needed or anticipated it -- we could not have asked more of him - he probably won't be in his position long, I see promotions in his future!! Johinul kept our 'hut' amazingly clean and neat, with beautiful animals or designs on our bed everyday. Wish the room barstaff had refilled the room 'bar' better - all we asked for was 4-6 diet cokes a day, we were lucky to get 2. And every call to room service incurs A SERVICE CHARGE (told you-not all-inclusive!). Arun at the pool bar was great and REMI - who met us the first day and had to listen to our complaints was very patient, kind and amazing! Additionally, since we are on a 3 month trip, we need laundry done. It cost us over $300 USD and returned to us in the dirty plastic bags we sent it in. The next resort we went to we had 1.75x the amount of laundry and it cost us $62 USD, was all ironed, packaged, and delivered beautifully. While Baglioni-Maldives is a beautiful place, it is disappointing that it is not a true "Palace" resort. Way, way too expensive(over $800 USD a night plus Service charges, and considering the cost it takes to get there (depending on where you live), the costs of scuba diving, it really isn't worth it. We continued on to Ayana Resort in Bali, it was a more beautiful resort, more up-to-date, had more restaurants, bars, places to go/see AND COST 1/4the what Baglioni-Maldives did. The only thing they didn't have was RAJU!!
