Baglioni Resort Maldives

Very good experience in Baglioni This was our first time in the Maldives, and this island truly blew us away with so many pleasant surprises. Chingiz, was incredibly kind and attentive, and every staff member we met was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious. Snorkeling here was amazing – you can see plenty of fish even without swimming too deep. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!"

Had a great experience at Baglioni for our first time in Maldives. Our host Chingiz was extremely helpful and attentive, the location is amazing, great service and beautiful views/villas all around. Food was also good.

This trip was magical. Maldives has been top on her bucket list. The moment we got off the plan there was a team ready to pick us up and bring us to the seaplane. We've never rode a seaplane but the captain was nice and got us to the island safely. Very nice experience. Once we've landed we were greeted by our Resort coordinator Rameez. Rameez is the man. From start to finish he anticipated each and everyone of our needs. Before our boat trip my wife briefly mentioned she gets seasick. Without saying anything he came over while we were having breakfast and handed her a seasickness pill before our trip. That level of service is what you read in the magazines. We had the opportunity to stay at both water and beach villas. Honestly you can't go wrong with either. The views for both are amazing. Every meal was fantastic, every drink was on point. We had the opportunity to try all their restaurants. Chef Maduka runs his restaurants like an Iron Chef. He knew I was Indian and missed my home cooking and made me my favorite dish without asking. He keeps on eye on all his guests and make sure they you are seen. I noticed he stopped a child from eating something that could've led to an allergy attack. The mother didnt notice the child had picked up the desert. Chef Maduka intervened and got the child an allergy free dessert. He notices everything and takes the time to learn all his guests. In taste the service team is phenomenal. The manager Rj was very friendly and made us seen every visit, a special shootout to our service team Arti, Prabath, Nitu, and Naresh. Naresh was our waiter in Taste and Yama. He is super professional and was very kind. He actually recommended what activities to do while we were on the island. Raj the food and beverages manager was so kind and was on top of everyone. Making sure everyone's needs were being met. In Mirto(The pool Bar) the Bar tender Sanjay is the man. Every drink was delicious. The two gentleman who gave us amazing service was Simba and Prakash. They were always joyful and happy to see us. Yama is the restaurant to be at. Every dish was delicious and 1st class. All the staff there were kind and professional. We did have a slight hiccup with our excursion planner. Poor communication and planning on his part. But we made sure to try out all the classes and tours the resort offered and thats when we met Argentina. We had the opportunity to do the behind the scenes tour with her. She is very knowledgeable and she showed us how well the staff is taken care of. She showed us how the island is a self sustained machine. Most of all we expressed to her that we were unhappy with the excursion planning and without any hesitation she stepped in with Rameez and got us on a private boat tour for two to the island of Rinbodou/snorkeling. I would 100% recommend this excursion with anyone who loves to learn about cultures and snorkel. Shofik our guide was very impressive. He was so knowledable about the locals and when it came to snorkeling we never felt unsafe for a sec. It was one our best experiences in our lives. If it wasnt for Rameez and Argentina we would've just stayed in our room for the whole 8 days we were there. They made sure we got the most out of our trip. They both need promotions. The level of hospitality and caring they gave us we never received in the states from high end establishments. Special shout out to Mr. Marcos the General Manager. He took the time to sit with us to make sure we had a great experience. You rarely see a manager who cares about his guests like he does. You can tell he prioritizes hospitality and service. To whomever reading this review please try all the free classes. The movie under the stars was such a nice experience. We learned so much and the excursion team is top notch. I've been to other places and didn’t feel safe. Never once did we feel that way on this island and with this team. Thank you Baglioni Maldives for an amazing three year anniversary experience of a lifetime.
