Baglioni Resort Maldives

This island is absolutely stunning with amazing snorkeling experiences. Special thanks to my personal butler Chingz, the service he provided was exceptional and thoughtful.

What a fantastic stay we had at Baglioni resort. My husband and I travel with our teen daughter and generally prefer quiet, laidback islands where we can relax, snorkel and decompress from the stresses of work. Baglioni manages to combine a polished, slick offering with warmth and friendliness of staff. Everyone was attentive and kind without it feeling forced. We relaxed and felt taken care of throughout our stay (with special thanks to Chingiz for making all the arrangements and restaurant reservations through an easy WhatsApp chat). Highlights included the wonderful food and drink, we were spoilt for choice. Yerma even arranged a special Teppanyaki menu for the 3 of us one evening which was incredible, we just wished we had bigger appetites! A surprise highlight was how good the snorkelling on house reef was. It was really top-tier and so easy to access the drop-off directly from the beach near the service jetty. We saw a great variety of fish including many black tip reef sharks happily swimming around us. We stayed in a water villa which was great, not the largest we've stayed in but absolutely fine for the 3 of us and kept immaculately clean by the housekeeping staff. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have an alcoholic option in the mini bar other than beer. We've generally had a bottle of wine, fizz or G&T available on the AI plans and it would have been nice to have a sundowner on the deck though not a big deal as there was plenty on offer at the bars and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the resort and look forward to a return visit.

Absolutely amazing!!! We took our whole family including elderly in laws and the staff were so helpful. Great Italian cuisine and everything you want in a beach resort, including a very professional dive centre. It’s not always easy to combine good diving with luxury but the Baglioni is a great way of doing both. Thank you Baglioni team
