Baglioni Resort Maldives

Where do I start? Maybe saying this is so far the best place I’ve ever been to. I would really love to find something I didn’t like or that went wrong during our stay, but I can’t. All was perfect. Let’s start from Location: the island is STUNNING! The reef is very close so you can go snorkeling and enjoy amazing views just swimming around. Garden paths in the jungle are so nice, rooms are incredible. We stayed in a water villa but beach villas are amazing too! Every room Has privacy and it’s really quiet. All is very well kept by the staff who works literally 24 hours to make everything perfect. The atmosphere is so relaxing and nice, staff, ALL OF THEM, are so nice and make you feel like a king or queen. From the waiters, to the people working at the dive center, to the cleaning service etc all of them are so kind and always smiling and wiling to help. I must mention Greta, the girl who took care of us during our stay, she was there ANYTIME for any need! Always smiling, always giving us the best advices. She took care of us, planning our nights at the restaurants, trips and everything. We felt so spoiled! She’s always there for you, we truly appreciate that! And I must mention Carolina at the dive center who accompanied us in the best snorkeling trip we’ve ever had! It was a blast! A plus: many people from the staff are Italian, and as an Italian I think this made me feel even more comfortable during my stay. It was like being home away from Home. Food: as an Italian we are very…picky and spoiled sometimes..I was worried even because I went to Baglioni 6 months pregnant, but what can I say? Food was AMAZING. Despite what happens in most of the resorts (even the most expensive ones) you will hardly find buffet food. Everything’s à la carte menu, you can choose whatever you want and you have a choice of Italian restaurants, international restaurants and even Japanese. La limonaia, the Italian restaurant was my favourite along to fuego the grill on the beach. Quality is really really really good! Fresh ingredients and very tasty options. And everything is really CLEAN!!! I could write an essay about my stay, but what I want to say is : don’t think twice if you’re thinking about going there. Just go and you won’t regret it! I know this might be a little expensive for someone, but every single euro we spent for this holiday was well spent. Can’t wait to come back, I hardly decide to go twice to the same place, but Baglioni Maldives stole my heart.

This was our first time at the Maldives and we are beyond happy of the past week we spent at The Baglioni. Everything was perfect from the service to the food but more than everything the location and the experiences that the staff of the resort has suggested to do. A special thank you to Elisa that made sure everything was going well from the atmosphere to the details and shout out to all the crew in general for proving us such beautiful moments. A special shoutout even to Arun Dev that made me discover all the amazing things yoga can teach you, physically e spiritually. We will definitely be coming back next year.

I really enjoyed Arun Dev's yoga training. I had never attended a yoga class before, and Arun Dev was a great teacher for beginners. Arun Dev also explained the meaning behind all the exercises so we could get a better understanding. I highly recommend taking one of his classes. Very relaxing as well.

Arun Dev, a yoga master, was very patient as it was my and my husband's first time. It was a relaxing class. He made us follow his instructions, which were very clear. During the class, he had us stretch and do some breathing techniques to help us relax our minds and bodies. He encouraged us to meditate and connect with our minds and spirits. He included the yoga pavilion in the class.

We greatly appreciated the natural beauty of the place and the excellent quality of the services offered by the resort. Special mention should be given to the seaplane transfer to and from Malé, the care provided by our personal assistant, and the excursions organized by the dive center.
