Huvafen Fushi Maldives

My partner and I stayed at Huvafen Fushi for 5 nights, and overall it was a wonderful, intimate experience. The resort feels incredibly private and exclusive, with a staff-to-guest ratio of roughly 2:1. There was always someone nearby to help whenever we needed anything, yet it never felt intrusive. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. Our butlers, Alexis and Nihan, were especially outstanding — professional, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Nihan, in particular, always greeted us with the sweetest smile and was an absolute delight to talk to. They truly made our stay feel effortless and deeply relaxing. The team at Celsius restaurant also deserves special mention. Shanim, Sadhin, Aleem, Chantal, and Shahid were all excellent and consistently provided friendly, attentive, and genuine service that made every meal more enjoyable. We also tried scuba diving for the first time with instructor Steve, and it was an unforgettable experience. His instructions were clear, calm, and easy to follow, which made us feel completely at ease. We ended up doing a 40-minute dive in the beautifully clear waters right by the resort — a definite highlight of our trip. The main disappointment of our stay was the food, which did not come close to matching the high standard set by the accommodations and exceptional service. Breakfast was fine — a decent selection of fresh fruit and pastries — but it stood out mainly because it was better than the other meals, rather than because it was particularly memorable. Dinners at Celsius were consistently mediocre, and our meals at RAW and SALT were especially underwhelming. The sashimi lacked freshness, and the sushi rolls were bland and uninspired, which was surprising given the setting and price point. Thankfully, the outstanding service and people helped offset this shortcoming. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and genuine care are what truly define Huvafen Fushi, and they remain the strongest reason we would consider returning to this otherwise beautiful and serene resort.

Wife and I had the most AMAZING 3 night stay at the Huvafen Fushi. We stayed in a overwater bungalow on lagoon side. We came from a different resort, and they greeted us at the Male airport and took us immediately to a private boat waiting to take us to the island. The beauty of the island can not be overstated. It was AMAZING. Even though it was windy and thunderstorm during the time we were there. it was still so amazing. Everyone was so friendly. We want to give an extra shout out to our Thakuru (butler) Abdulla Suhaadh. He was AMAZING and the best we've ever had (even better than the previous person we had at our last maldives property). He anticipated and provided for our every need. We were celebrating a special occasion and he made sure it was extra special for me and my wife. We did morning yoga each day, had wonderful breakfast and enjoyed the pool, snorkeling and the ONLY underwater spa in the Maldives! Him and house staff even surprised us with a bubble bath ready in the room after dinner! Suhaadh was amazing and would highly recommend him to anyone who stays at this beautiful resort. Whether it was enjoying the sunset at Raw and dinner at SALT, or the band that played at dinner, it was an unforgetable experience. we can't wait to go back!

The room is very comfortable, and the environment on the island is also very good. The restaurant provides rich dining options and diverse tastes, which can meet the needs of people in different regions.

We have recently returned from a two week stay at Huvafen Fushi Resort. We can safely say it’s the best place we have stayed in the Maldives and will be going back. Usually if you stay for two weeks something irritates you but not here. Everyone was friendly, service across all food venues was excellent and general feel of the resort was lovely. Our host Sidu looked after us brilliantly, everything we needed was sorted out for us very efficiently and he always checked in on us to make sure we were fine. Housekeeping was great Nahsaal to took great care of us , regularly refilling our need for many tea bags, and keeping the room clean and tidy. Restaurant staff were all great especially Shahid, Claire and Green. Special mention to Chef Shaffi for a couple of great dinners. Finally a quick mention for Carlos who ran catering and Noel the General Manager.They were both out and about chatting with guests everyday which is very unusual in our experience and was great because they always had their fingers on the pulse. We went as a couple for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was romantic but it was also beautifully spiritual. We made friends that we will be seeing in London and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you to Sidu, Wann, Alina, Haleem, Alam, Shahid and the whole team for making our stay incredible.
