The most stunning holiday we’ve ever had. We’ve been coming back to this island for five years now and are returning again this March — that alone says everything. The service is exceptional, the food is outstanding, and the accommodation is absolutely beautiful. Every stay feels special from start to finish. The only bad experience? Having to leave the island every time.

Our honeymoon was nothing short of perfect, and that is entirely thanks to Abdullah Suhaadh Mohamed and Haleem, our incredible housekeeper. From the moment we arrived, Suhaadh went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was seamless, thoughtful, and deeply personal. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel not like guests, but like family. Every recommendation, every check-in, every small gesture showed how much pride he takes in creating unforgettable experiences. Haleem deserves special recognition as well his kindness, attention to detail, and gentle presence made our home feel immaculate, peaceful, and welcoming every single day. He anticipated our needs before we ever had to ask and brought such a calming, beautiful energy into our space. Together, they created an atmosphere of comfort, joy, and ease that allowed us to truly relax and be present with one another, exactly what a honeymoon should be. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a memory we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We are endlessly grateful. Huvafen Fushi is truly a slice of Maldivian paradise. The island itself is stunning, boasting those iconic turquoise hues you see in postcards. It is a smaller, more intimate island, the layout is incredibly well-designed; it never felt crowded, and there was always a sense of quiet exclusivity throughout our stay. We spent time looking at the different overwater villa options, and both have their unique trade-offs: • Lagoon Bungalows: These offer spectacular views of the water, though they do have slightly less privacy because of the boats docked nearby. • Ocean Bungalows: These are perfect for sunset lovers, offering a front-row seat to the horizon. However, be prepared for the afternoon heat as the sun hits them directly—they get quite warm! Exceptional Service What truly set this trip apart was the service. It exceeded all my expectations, largely thanks to our Thakuru, Ziraar. He made our experience unforgettable with thoughtful "little surprises" scattered throughout our stay, which won’t go into detail but the thoughtfulness is there. His attention to detail with our activities and his personal touch made everything feel authentic and effortless without ever being overwhelming. Unique Experiences • Underwater Spa: You have to see this to believe it. It looks even better in person than in photos, with 180-degree views of the reef. The massages were incredibly relaxing while watching the marine life drift by. Great explanation by the staff about all the options as well. • Night Snorkeling: The guide was professional and knowledgeable, pointing out creatures I would have missed—including the magical glowing blue planktons. • Wildlife: We were treated to a spectacular sight of dolphins swimming right up close to Salt restaurant and many resident small sharks and birds. Dining Speaking of Salt, it is a must-visit. The overwater setting is unique, and the Japanese fusion cuisine was top-tier. It was easily our favorite dining spot on the island. Overall, Huvafen Fushi offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and high-end, personalized service. I cannot recommend it enough for those looking for an authentic and intimate Maldives getaway.

We just spent our honeymoon at Huvafen Fushi and had the time of our lives .. From the moment we arrived we realised this was going to be an unforgettable experience. The warm greeting, attention to detail, incredible room, delicious food and drinks, fantastic excursions Huvafen Fushi offers including turtle safari and jet skiing, underwater spa, and simply just relaxing and walking around the resort. We were also very well looked after by our Thakuru, Soppe. He invested all of his energy in making sure we had the best possible honeymoon, he made this week even better! He was kind, attentive and very respectful and we will miss him too! In fact all staff we came across were smiley, friendly and very helpful. Overall the best honeymoon we could have wished for and thanks for everything .. we hope to return soon!

Huvafen Fushi (Island) ist just 30min by speed boat from Malé. There are two major types of Bungalows on this island, each has at least one private pool in the unit. It's not a very large island but the environment is quite comfortable and quiet. Also there is a sea-Yoga, an underwater SPA here. Our guide Suhaadh is a very nice guy, gave us heart-warming welcome and farewell gifts. It's a pity that the island/resort is always fully-booked that we only stayed here for 4 days.
