Huvafen Fushi Maldives

This was our first holiday with our son who was 5 months old. It was absolutely perfect. The island was beautiful, the team looking after us were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, the beach bungalow was luxurious and private, the various restaurants were all fantastic. Truly wonderful trip and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Special shout out to Sidu who man marked us for the whole trip and made our stay extra special.

We had a wonderful time at Huvafen Fushi staying at one of their overwater bungalows. The bungalow had everything you could ask for - amazing ocean views, all the amenities you need, and incredible access to the house reef which was teeming with fish. The complimentary snorkel gear, turn down service and just little thoughtful touches all added to the experience. Moreover, we were blown away by the hospitality of all of the staff who attended us with special mentions to our Thakuru Soppe for the prompt support with anything we needed, all the lovely serving staff, the cleaning staff who kept the resort pristine, and Sayeli for the amazing yoga sessions. We will miss it - one of our favourite holidays for sure!

Our experience at Huvafen Fushi was simply incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt that everything was taken care of. The entire team was incredibly attentive, helpful and kind. The resort offers a true boutique experience which is difficult to find in the Maldives. As we were celebrating a special occasion, they helped us arrange a number of special requests and dinners with ease. Everything we requested was instantly taken care of to an exacting standard. Make sure to visit the underwater Spa and to snorkel in the house reef, do not miss! Special thanks to our thakuru, Sidu, who made our stay incredibly memorable and arranged everything to perfection! Our experience here was amazing. Our langoon bungalow was really spacious. It was such a relaxing place to be at. The food was really good, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The underwater spa was also a really unique experience. The gym was a great place to workout, right over beautiful coloured water. The service there was impecable as well. We had great weather which made our stay even better. Noise level was never an issue, the privacy we had made our stay special as well. Our room was always cleaned up and made after we left for either breakfast or dinner, which added positive things to our stay. I would recommend Huvafen Fushi for couple and even families interested in visiting the Maldives. A 30 min boat ride was super convienent. The added a menities like artifical grass football (soccer) field, with basketball hoops, and even picklebal/tennis lines was nice. There is also sand volleyball. Great snorkeling. Paddleboards and kayaks. Overall it exceeded my expectations of my trip to Maldives. It is pardise and i would defenitle recommend it. Special shoutout again to the staff, including Noel, Saif, Claire, Wint, Inash, and Ameel, who were always attentive, available and had great disposition to help.

We have been back in the UK a week or so after the most fabulous stay on Huvafen Fushi. There is huge competition in the Maldives and its very difficult to choose the right island for you but Huvafen Fushi exceeded all our expectations We stayed in a Deluxe Beach Bungalow with direct access onto pristine sand and the beautiful lagoon, it was stunning. Our butler Samaah made sure that everything was perfect during our stay, he never intruded but always answered any questions we had. The food was outstanding in all the restaurants and my husband Paul loves his food! A huge thank you to all the team but a special thank you to Wint and Widi, you made us smile every day. We had a fabulous experience at the Cardamom Dinner, truly spoilt. A huge thank you to the sommelier Chaminda who looked after us so well. Each evening he or his assistant helped us choose the perfect wine, not pushing expensive bottles at all but getting to know our likes and dislikes and matching with the wonderful food. We were lucky enough to enjoy dinner in the underground wine cellar, Vinum, with Chaminda matching wines for us throughout. I wont spoil the surprises by saying anymore but what a fabulous evening. We were fortunate enough to book direct flight from the UK so did not have to experience any drama of cancelled flights , I'm sure behind the scenes the management were having to juggle huge amounts of disruption to bookings, none of which filtered through to the guests on the island. The General Manager and Resort Manager were quietly in the background ensuring all guests need were catered for without being intrusive to your stay. We had a fabulous holiday and will be back without doubt.
