The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands

This was our third visit in five years all the way from the United States. Each visit we bring more of our family and make more incredible memories. The RC Maldives is truly an indescribably magical place. A huge shoutout to Ahusan,Razaan, Shirra,Siraaj,Fiyaz, Emoo And Nizam from engineering.

Hi, I’m Putri from Indonesia. My husband and I chose to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands for 2 nights for our honeymoon, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel service was absolutely exceptional, and all the food was delicious. We especially loved the food at EAU Bar. They have an amazing chef from Indonesia named Chef Dachi. Every dish he prepared was outstanding. My husband and I were so happy during our stay. Every guest is provided with a personal service called an Aris Meeha (Island Butler), who is always ready to help with anything guests may need. Each villa also comes with bicycles to explore the beautiful Ritz-Carlton island, and buggy transportation is available anytime upon request. There are so many activities available for guests. The Ritz-Carlton Maldives has a tennis court with the iconic Ritz logo as the aesthetic background. There is also a padel court with a breathtaking Maldives ocean view. Guests can use the padel court for free, or pay an additional fee if they would like coaching sessions. In addition, there are beach soccer, volleyball, and badminton courts (although the wind is very strong, so maybe badminton is difficult haha). There is also a giant chess board for guests to enjoy, a game center with various games, a spacious and fully equipped gym with a beautiful ocean view, and even a sauna room. The facilities are incredibly complete. Staying at Ritz-Carlton Maldives feels so relaxing and luxurious. Besides those facilities, guests can also enjoy many water sport activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, diving, dolphin hunting, and more. Lucky for us, on the afternoon of our arrival day, there was a Marriott Bonvoy Elite Cocktail Reception event at Beach Shack. My husband and I were invited. They served free-flow cocktails, wine, and delicious snacks. Everything truly felt very luxurious. Highly recommended for anyone planning a vacation in the Maldives. Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is definitely the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable holiday.

Our honeymoon at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives was truly the most unforgettable experience of our lives. From the breathtaking beauty of the island to the incredible attention to detail in every moment, everything felt absolutely magical. What made the trip even more special was our amazing butler, Aslam, who went above and beyond every single day to make us feel cared for and celebrated. The entire staff treated us with such warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality that we never wanted to leave. Every dinner, excursion, and surprise was perfectly curated, creating memories we will cherish forever. We are endlessly grateful to Aslam and the entire Ritz-Carlton Maldives team for making our honeymoon so incredibly special and unforgettable.

Most magical hotel experience to date! (The price is also proportional to that). We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for 5 nights in April 2026. The hotel is located near Male, only 45 mins speed boat away which made the connection from the airport easy. Once we arrived, the rooms were ready and we were taken from the speedboat pier to the sunset villa by Aslam, our butler. He had provided an amazingly attentive service throughout our stay! We also love the access to patina hotel which has more Asian food options as well! The room was overall the best design, in terms of flow, architectural aspects, and material used. Dive team were amazing as well. Highly recommend, they took care of us so well. Overall amazing stay!

My husband and I just finished a short stay at the resort earlier this week. To say it was spectacular would be an understatement. We've since transferred resorts, and would honestly have happily stayed at the Ritz for our full vacation. Hindsight is 20/20. I wanted to call out a few people and a few observations. Aslam was our day-to-day support, and he was incredible. I don't think we ever waited more than 2 minutes for a response. We often chose to walk or cycle places, but as we did I would often glance up and see Aslam there, in a buggy, ready just in case. The in Villa touches made our anniversary truly special. The food across the resort was magnificent. Ismail was a delight each morning at breakfast, and Tom (at Eau) and Zoo (at Summer Pavilion) had truly excellent recommendations and were so attentive. The sommelier (I apologize, I've forgotten his name) at Eau was a true pleasure. As someone who isn't a big "joiner", the cocktail hour was well designed and Marie was an amazing bridge for those of us who don't love socializing. We had a great time snorkeling, and my husband enjoyed diving. I've never left a vacation more at peace. I'm looking forward to an opportunity to return. Please pass along our thanks to the team. I think this is the only place we'd return to in the Maldives. That is in small part location and the design of the resort, and in very large part the excellent service and staff.
