The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands

We spent our honeymoon at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Every detail — from the stunning overwater villa to the warm hospitality — made our stay unforgettable. Our butler, Anth, went above and beyond every single day to make sure everything was perfect for us. She anticipated our needs, arranged everything smoothly, and truly made us feel at home in paradise. We can’t thank her enough for her kindness and professionalism. Every member of the team we met — at La Locanda, Arabesque, and around the island — was genuinely friendly and attentive. The service was exceptional, and we felt completely cared for throughout our stay. Thank you, Ritz-Carlton Maldives, for giving us the most magical honeymoon we could have ever dreamed of. We can’t wait to return someday!

Words simply can’t adequately describe our magical stay at the Ritz Carlton-Maldives. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were treated with the utmost care and reverence from the staff—from the airport lounge to the speedboat transfer to our arrival and throughout our entire vacation. We were blown away by how welcoming the staff is and, of course, how stunningly beautiful the island is. Truly every member of the staff wanted to ensure we were having the best time and consistently asked us what we needed to make our stay better. We couldn’t ever think of anything though! Special shout out to our “Aris Meeha” Muneef, who’s so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. Naseem, Reeshan, Vanessa (at Arabesque), Jessica (at La Locanda), Luca (at the Dive Center) and SO many others were so friendly and made our stay spectacular. Additionally, everyone was so kind to our 7-year-old son who enjoyed the wonderful Kids’ Club and biking around the island every day. He especially loved the Beach Shack - all the staff there is amazing and even taught him how to play pool. Other things to mention: 1) we stayed in a beach pool villa on the sunset side, which was gorgeous. The check-in and out process is quick and efficient because it’s done inside the villa which is a game changer— there’s no wasted time. 2) The food was great. Arabesque, on the nearby Patina island, was the best meal (the butter chicken) we had on our vacation. My husband and I travel quite a bit and this was only the second vacation when I felt like crying because I didn’t want to leave. If you choose to stay at the Ritz in the Maldives, you will not be disappointed!

We stayed for 5 nights at here and it is absolutely stunning with the design, view and the service! We have an unforgetable experience here. A special thank to our butler, Razan, he made our stay truly exceptional. On our first day, we realized our villa’s location wasn’t exactly what we hoped for. There is an island in front of us. When we asked if a change is possible, Razan immediately assured us he would try, and he did switch a villa for us for the last two nights. We were so grateful for his effort! Knowing that my husband and I both work in the restaurant industry, he also shared many insights about butler-style service, which made for a wonderful conversation. On top of that, Razan surprised us with many warm touches like giving us fresh fruit and ice cream during our stay. Although he is only 27, his professional service made us feel truly cared for.

Unbelievable. Went for our honeymoon and loved it. Service 11/10, outstanding service from everyone. Razaan was our Aris Meeha and he was amazing, constantly checking in with us constantly making sure we were taken care of, had a good plan for the day, and we were having an enjoyable experience. Starting and ending the trip with the yacht transfer to and from the airport felt great too as someone who rarely gets on a yacht. Razaan is the man and deserves a raise. Also, quick sidenote, the photographer Sayd (I think I butchered the spelling sorry) was worthy of a shoutout, as well as the few employees who will clean up the beach from washed up seaweed (how insane is that?! It was perfect). Timing We went late Sept '25 and it was perfect weather. We were told we got a bit lucky as it was raining prior to when we arrived, but we were there for 4 days and one day it rained for 20 mins and that's it. Also, because it was the "rainy season" and not the clear tourist season, the resort felt empty, multiple times we would be out to dinner at one of the restaurants and there'd be quite literally no other guests around. Was surreal. Food Great food all around. Expensive, but that's to be expected and we were on the plan that had breakfast and dinner free. We especially loved the steakhouse (Brasa) as well as La Locanda. Also the breakfast was great too with tons of variety every morning. Villa We stayed on the overwater-villa and it was insane. We brought some inflatable floaties to just float and enjoy the crystal clear water and that was really fun. Saw a few sharks and rays under or around our villa too which was cool. I'll just say that the pictures do it justice. Summary All in all, we turned to each other and said we had to come back here every couple years. Though far away from us (we're from the US), it was so worth it and so amazing that we'll for sure be coming back. The clear water, perfect weather, incredible villa, great service, and made it clear to us that we'll be booking another trip back here soon.
