From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and beautifully orchestrated. The island itself is breathtaking, with stunning overwater villas, crystal-clear waters, and a level of tranquility that feels almost unreal. The resort blends luxury with Maldivian culture in such a thoughtful way, creating a unique and immersive experience. What truly elevated our stay, however, was our Aris Meeha (personal butler), Ammadey. He was simply outstanding. Attentive, warm, and incredibly intuitive, he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Whether it was organizing our daily itinerary, arranging transportation around the island, or surprising us with thoughtful touches, he made everything effortless. Ammadey wasn’t just a butler — he felt more like a friend who genuinely cared about making our trip special. Many guests mention how he “handles every detail and responds instantly,” and we experienced exactly that level of service. The dining experiences were equally impressive, offering a perfect mix of fine dining and relaxed beachside options. Every meal felt curated and memorable. The staff across the resort were consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. What stood out most was the level of personalization. Little surprises — from beautifully prepared villa setups to perfectly timed arrangements — made us feel incredibly special throughout our stay. I was equally impressed by Malik at the spa, who delivered one of the most exceptional massage experiences we’ve ever had. Both deeply relaxing and expertly tailored. This was more than just a luxury getaway. It was an unforgettable experience driven by remarkable people.

We had a wonderful experience at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives. The rooms were impeccable, especially because Mango made our villa so cozy. He made our over water villa such a magical experience. I really appreciated his attention to detail and how he anticipated our needs. Our host, Ice, was so adorable and helpful. She was incredibly sweet and attentive. Interacting with her was always a delightful experience. The service in all of the restaurants were top notch. We dined in all of the main restaurants and enjoyed room service as well during our stay. The food was always delicious. Special thanks to all of the chefs. All of the staff was kind and helpful, but the most memorable were Ammu, Sippe, Modu, and Sunny. Sunny especially went out of her way to make me my favorite drinks during my stay. I am super appreciative of her. There are fun activities we participated in, to include the reef restoration (with Daia), spa alchemy workshop with Tashi (we adore her and loved how she taught us how to make various scrubs), and we went diving with LiLi. LiLi will forever be part of our memorable diving experiences. I have been a Marriott platinum member for a very long time, but this is my first review of one of their properties. The people included in my review are what made my experience so magical that I felt compelled to write about it. To everyone at Ritz-Carlton, a heart felt THANK YOU for making my 10 year wedding anniversary special.

We had an amazing experience at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives. The resort itself is something else and has to be experienced. Our room was mind-blowing and honestly took our breath away! The food was incredible, but what made the trip truly special was the staff. Everyone we met went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our butler, Anth, was very helpful and took care of everything. She planned our days perfectly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was a perfect trip from start to finish! Can’t wait to go back!
