From its bird’s-eye vantage point atop the rugged coastal cliffs of northern Mallorca, Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa enjoys stunning views of the sea and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tramuntana Mountains. The Soller Valley is known for its lemon, orange and olive orchards, and these ingredients are woven into the hotel’s personality, from organic spa treatments to guestroom furniture made from indigenous wood. Jumeirah’s environmentally harmonious structure won Architecture of the Year accolades at the European Design Awards, and it topped the Sunday Times’ Hot List when it debuted in 2013.

One of a kind. This hotel has a unique view and exceptional service. It is high-end. Starting with high class check in process and top view from your room facing the sea. The infinity pool is a must and as such often posted by the Insta-babe-comunity (sometimes anoying) . If there is one thing you might not like what iss the ignorant behaviour of human beings that disturb the uniquie experience of that location and great food by using their f..ing phones at the pool, at the dinner and even at the balcony instead of enjoying this experience.

We returned after a three year gap to the hotel with an absolutely stunning location looking out to sea and back across the lagoon to the port. Sadly though standards have gone in the opposite direction to the prices and the perfection that you are paying for is lacking tbh. We stayed for over a week and hence noticed perhaps more than some other guests who were travelling around the Med. General maintenance was lacking in the room, grounds and infinity pool which was cloudy and not clean at the bottom of the deep end. Shrubs either dead or overgrown on our balcony. Lifts broke down and scraped the walls when in motion. Bird poo was left on the path for three or four days. The parched plants on the roof were sprayed green at one point?!?! Service in Cap Roig was excellent throughout, breakfast fantastic and dinner very good other than one hiccup. Anna and the delightful Fernando stood out. Service in the Sunset Lounge was chaotic (other than Bia), Bloody Mary’s absolutely awful but the food was very good. Far too many people in the wrong job we think. Victor has the best smile in Majorca, Alex a confident and skilled driver. Fausto and Hector are charming people, Stephano a charismatic professional with endless time to give. Overall then, some wonderful characters but better recruitment/training is needed to support the brand, which is relying on an out of date reputation.

Overhyped, overpriced and very dated. I would highly recommend basically any other 5 star in the area over this hotel. Prices are to an almost comical level at the pool as an example, $25 drinks and entrees for $30-50, pool quality food. Even though you expect the high prices, just have to laugh at what they are charging for some things. The main issue with this hotel is that it is past its prime. This place was probably state of the art 10 years ago, but many of the rooms, spa and other facilities are extremely dated feeling. Spa is very old feeling, rooms are very old and many things like elevators commonly break. You will feel disappointed spending 5 star prices and getting a very old feeling place if you are used to staying at nice resorts. Service also poor except for concierge and staff at front. Pool staff is super distracted and not paying attention to you. Room service woke us up two different times during our stay at 12-1AM with wrong room, very little apology provided by hotel. The way they have stayed relevant is the view, which is amazing. I would recommend booking elsewhere and just coming here for dinner for the amazing views. Save money and book at an actual luxury resort with updated rooms/amenities.

Spectacular service level exceeded only by off the charts views. Walking distance (15 min) to quaint and attractive town/harbor - steep slope but quite manageable . Gym is excellent by European standards Downsides are the price is high (not Belmond level but close) and while the food is fine, it is not great. Overall very positive experience

Fabulous views and vibes. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Food portions are very small so you would need to order 6+ portions for 2 people. Some of the cocktails are €90. Also €8 for a bottle of water is crazy!
