Tropica Island Resort

My boyfriend and I just got home from staying at the Tropica Island Resort and our experience was nothing short of relaxing, fun, and filled with great memories. For starters, it is a beautiful property with beautiful bures. We stayed in a Sanctuary Room with one of the bures that was not directly in front of the water, it was beautiful and spacious and all bures include a private pool which was so fun. Everything was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the amazing breakfast spreads every day. The dinners were always relaxing and the mood was calm but exciting alongside other guests and the amazing staff. Getting to know the staff was the highlight of our experience! We feel like we made some great friends at Tropica Island including V, Vina (my yaca), Chris, and others who I can’t remember all their names. They were so welcoming and we had so much fun chatting with them throughout our stay!!!! We are so grateful for this experience and definitely want to come back and hopefully see our new friends next time we are in Fiji. We did Cloud 9 one day and scuba diving (2 tank dive) another day and coordinating / booking the transfers was super easy - we were able to do it day of / day before with no problem. One thing to note for Cloud 9 is that there needs to be a minimum of 4 guests to go for the day so I recommend bringing this up as soon as you arrive if you are interested, that way you can confirm to go on a day when there are other people going as well. There were 6 of us and we booked the day before! Super easy, fun, and beautiful! Thank you to all the staff for the great hospitality and a wonderful experience!!!!! A trip we will not forget!

Perfect when you’re looking for somewhere to relax and do nothing, with the occasional dip in your private pool, paddle to a nearby island, chat with other guests over a spectacular sunset, read books and eat good food - but don’t care about chefs hats.

Tropica Island Resort is a magical way to relax, unwind and reenergise. The staff and management understand what it takes to make sure your stay is wonderful and memorable at this adults only resort. We met many delightful younger couples as well as our own age group. Everyone you speak too appreciates the beauty of the resort and how the Fijian people truly care that their work makes a difference in the total experience. They are just the most beautiful, humble, caring, loving and thoughtful people. Finally the food was delicious catering for all needs. Lots of activities if you wish to partake or just do nothing at all. You can travel by the resort boats to nearby cool destinations if you wish to extend your holiday experience.

It was our first time at Tropica..they say when you arrive its like coming home, FYI, nothing like home, 500% better! The staff are fabulous, so friendly and helpful. The food is incredible and there is a great selection of wine, beer, spirits on offer, plus spectacular cocktails. Our room was next level - spacious, private, clean, and the outdoor shower was so good. So in summary, it was.bloody awesome! And already planning to be back next year! Ps OMG NO KIDS!!!

Loved Tropica..started off with staff singing as we arrived on the boat. What a fantastic introduction. The staff are definitely a big asset - Zack at the bar, Tony, Wina, Maria and Lia in the restaurants helped make our holiday memorable. Our bure was very comfortable - loved that at night we didn't need air-conditioning...ceiling fan and screened louvre windows let in gentle breeze and sound of the waves. Enjoyed snorkelling and swimming out the front. Food was delicious...thank you chef Wayan.
