Unfortunately, our stay was negatively impacted by the behavior of one of the managers, Mr. Jlaeil. His approach toward both employees and guests felt unprofessional and discourteous. On several occasions, staff members appeared uncomfortable due to the way they were spoken to in public, which created an unpleasant atmosphere throughout the property. When I raised a concern regarding a charge on my bill, my questions were met with indifference rather than a genuine effort to assist. Instead of feeling valued as a guest, I felt dismissed and ignored. Strong leadership plays a key role in hospitality, and in this case, the management style had a noticeable effect on the overall experience. While the resort itself has many positive qualities, the lack of respectful and attentive management made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at the beautiful Corinthia Palace, which is surely one of the very best hotels in Malta. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the busier tourist areas, the hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquillity and comfort. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, with every member of staff providing a warm, professional and attentive experience that truly reflected the hotel's five-star standards. The only slight issue we experienced, which I understand has been mentioned by previous guests, was early morning dog barking from approximately 6:00am onwards. Unfortunately, this did disrupt our sleep on several occasions. Whilst it is appreciated that this is largely outside the control of the hotel, it may be helpful for guests to be mindful of room selection and, where possible, request a room less affected by external noise. Aside from this minor point, our stay was excellent from start to finish. The facilities, surroundings, service and overall guest experience were all first class. Overall, this is a truly five-star hotel supported by exceptional service, and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone visiting Malta.

Arrived to a warm welcome and received excellent service for the whole of our stay. Everywhere was beautifully clean. It was a joy to not have to fight for Sun loungers! Our room was spacious, very comfortable and had everything we needed except for a folder containing maps, essential information and guidance on buses, taxis, local businesses etc. ( Fortunately Samar at reception helped us fantastically with this!) We had half board but found that both restaurants ( the Secret Garden and the Villa Corinthia) were Italian restaurants with menus that did not change and had somewhat limited choices. Also, only the Villa did a set half board (very limited) menu. We were able to choose food up to 48 euros at both restaurants but any further cost would be added to our bill at the end of the holiday. Drinks, even water, were always chargeable. That said, we enjoyed the meals we had - they were well prepared and presented and generous portions We also liked Josephine’s for the occasional snack or drink - again - excellent service. They do ask for a deposit at the beginning of the holiday to cover incidental spend or damage. Any monies not spent are refunded. We were dismayed to be charged for frequent use of the mini bar when we had not consumed anything from it! This was refunded on our account when we raised our concerns. . Despite these minor details, I have still given this hotel 5 stars because of the comfort, cleanliness and fantastic service we received. My recommendation to the hotel would be; 1. Put folders with local information in each room for guests 2. Vary the menus and consider having less emphasis on Italian food! Finally, a big thank you to all the staff we met - they work hard, always smile and always ready to help! You provided us with a great holiday!

This hotel is in an excellent location off the beaten track but still easily accessible to the rest of the island. It has Maltese charm and is a true 5* hotel. The hotel and rooms are immaculate, the gardens are pristine and the service is fab (most of the time!) Some reviews say this hotel is dated but I disagree, it fits in perfectly with the ambience it is seeking to provide. Only piece of feedback is around the vegan coffee shop, perhaps provide cows milk (even if you don’t advertise it?) as this put a lot of guests off ordering a morning coffee.

Its another visit over to our home from home and a thoroughly relaxing time it was. Staff were as lovely and helpful as ever it is really difficult to name anyone individual, Reception and Concierge a warm and genuine welcome, Housekeeping were as attentive as ever the rooms always spotless. Breakfast in the Villa an absolute joy with happy smiling staff some who are now friends from our previous visits. Poolside staff were so helpful to me as I have a slight back injury and they provided a normal chair for me to sit on next to my poolside bed. Secret Garden as lovely as ever food delicious my only criticism was perhaps a couple more choices would be good, a risotto would be nice. Caprice Lounge so relaxing and the live music was very good. We have been guests for many years to the hotel, it never disappoints and we look forward to returning very soon Thankyou All
