from the reservation which we did with the hotel directly and by phone, the service was excellent. we loved the hotel, my only suggestion would be to update the bathrooms, they’re completely fine just dated. we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, both were very good, great scrambled eggs, that tells you that it’s good from the basics, loved the avocado toast and yummy bacon, everybody loved the Benedict eggs and I enjoyed the fruits, vegetables, yogurt, breads and in general lots of delicious choices including local cheeses. dinner was excellent, sea food appetizer and veal chop my favorites, we enjoyed the installations which are beautiful, used the gym and pool. The only people who were not super helpful or friendly were in the reception of the spa… which i believe it’s an independent company that manages it. thank you Kevin and both Antonellas, from reception and Reservations for all your help. hope to be back soon!

The manager on duty on April 16th at 10AM showed exactly how much this hotel cares about their guests. We arrived earlier than official check in (at about 10AM), but were pleasantly surprised to be checked in immediately. We booked 5 nights, but we had a very early flight on the last morning, so I thought: "I'll ask the reception if we can have a breakfast this morning - I know we aren't entitled to one, but since we won't have a breakfast on our last morning, it should be all the same for the hotel - 5 nights, 5 breakfasts, costs nothing to try..." And wow - I was pleasantly surprised once more when I called the reception, explained my request to them, and they said "Sure, go ahead and have a breakfast, no problem". We came down to the restaurant, and the nice lady said "I am sorry, your first breakfast is tomorrow, but let me check with the reception". She called, came back, and said "The reception said they don't know anything, but I understand, there is no problem, I'll let you have the breakfast and we won't charge anything." But then this guy showed who the real boss is! We were having our breakfast when he approached our table, and said "I hope you are enjoying your breakfast. I don't know what the reception or the restaurant told you, but since you aren't entitled to a breakfast today, we'll have to charge for it". What an awesome way to show exactly how much you care about guests! Yes, I know - that guy was right - we were not entitled to a breakfast because we had an early check in. But if your reception says "ok", and your restaurant says "ok", and especially since the hotel wouldn't be damaged in any way (5 nights, 5 breakfasts), what sense does this make? 80 € was the price we were charged for that breakfast. I hope that guy gets a 80 € bonus, really, and I hope the hotel management tells him "Wow, great job, you've earned us 80 € we otherwise wouldn't make, did such a great job for our stockholders and owners!" Corinthia preferred 80€ over a satisfied guest. No problem, Corinthia! Rules are there for a reason and your staff should learn how to follow them, and when, great job by that guy! But you won't see us again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, a Palace in its own right. Staff are phenomenal, absolute nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are beautiful, not modern, impeccably tasteful and truly comfortable. Food was outstanding. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Corinthia.

From the moment we walked in to the hotel to the moment (at 5 AM!) when we left, we felt totally welcomed and part of the Corinthia family. This is truly a beautiful property in Malta. The grounds are gorgeous and while located about 10 or 15 minutes outside of the Port city, it's in a lovely neighborhood and the hotel is immediately adjacent to the presidential palace with its beautiful park. The hotel has rooms, suites, several restaurants, a spa and a beautiful central pool. The facilities are all fantastic and 5-star, but more, it's the staff that makes this hotel so warm and inviting. The front desk (night manager and daytime), the restaurant (thanks to the fantastic breakfast team) and everyone at the pool and spa made us feel seen and heard. For example, by our second morning, the restaurant folks knew our names and meal and coffee orders from the previous day. They asked about our sightseeing and about our stay. Kudos to the concierge for arranging airport pickup and return and for recommending restaurants. Special thanks to Analise for her personal service and restaurant suggestions. They were tremendous and off-the-charts great. I know she will be embarrassed to be singled out, but she represents a well-trained, friendly and helpful staff that made our stay a memory. Cheers!

We have stayed at the Corinthia a number of times and we hope we can continue to do so. This is a special place for us and it is always a joy to walk through the front doors to begin a stay. It's a beautiful hotel in a peaceful part of the island, with the most, most attentive staff who make you feel like an individual that matters. Thanks again to you all.
