Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa

What an outstanding hotel! We have been to many luxury hotels across the world, including 5 star hotels in Dubai, Egypt, Malaysia and the Maldives, and Corinthia Palace is honestly one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. The Grand Suite that we had was beautifully appointed and modern, with every little detail taken care of. It was spacious, quiet and cool. The cleaning staff were excellent. So thoughtful and efficient. The Corinthia Villa restaurant had incredible food and wine and the Caprice bar was so relaxing for a pre or post dinner drink. The Secret Garden was the perfect spot for an easy, delicious lunch after swimming all morning at the gorgeous pool. And, for us coffee addicts, it was so wonderful to find such excellent barista coffee both at breakfast and at the in-house coffee shop!! The spa was fantastic too. We had two treatments and both were relaxing in beautiful surroundings. But what really makes this such a gem of a find is the staff. You just can’t fault them. No matter where you go in the hotel, you are greeted with a smile and such excellent service. So rare!! They just can’t do enough for you and it made our stay so special. This hotel is a complete oasis and we would have been perfectly happy if we’d never stepped foot outside their doors the whole week! :) It was lovely to be outside the hectic hustle and bustle of Valletta, but so well placed to see all the major tourist attractions.

Excellent for a short escape...felt so pampered and comfortable. Apart from the elegance which is so unique at the Palace Attard the environment both in the common areas..the rooms and also the beautiful surrounding gardens and pool area are exquisite.

From the very first email exchange, everything flowed seamlessly. The level of professionalism and attention to detail at Corinthia Palace Attard is truly exceptional. The staff is remarkably well-trained, warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. Housekeeping was wonderful throughout my stay, maintaining impeccable standards every day. Dining was another highlight. Both the Secret Garden and the Corinthia restaurant delivered beautifully prepared meals, flawlessly executed and consistently delicious. The team was very helpful in helping me organize a birthday celebration. Their thoughtful gesture of complimentary champagne and a delightful miniature chocolate cake and a birthday card made the occasion even more special and memorable. The hotel itself is stunningly maintained, elegant without feeling pretentious, and the bed was among the most comfortable I have ever slept in. What stands out most is the genuine hospitality. There is a clear British influence in the service culture and staff training, reflected in the professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy shown by every member of the team. I would also like to mention Decoby, the chauffeur company partnered with the hotel. Their service was impeccable, with outstanding drivers and top-notch vehicles that perfectly complemented the overall luxury experience. Corinthia Palace delivered excellence at every level. A truly exceptional stay that exceeded expectations.

Unfortunately, our stay was negatively impacted by the behavior of one of the managers, Mr. Jlaeil. His approach toward both employees and guests felt unprofessional and discourteous. On several occasions, staff members appeared uncomfortable due to the way they were spoken to in public, which created an unpleasant atmosphere throughout the property. When I raised a concern regarding a charge on my bill, my questions were met with indifference rather than a genuine effort to assist. Instead of feeling valued as a guest, I felt dismissed and ignored. Strong leadership plays a key role in hospitality, and in this case, the management style had a noticeable effect on the overall experience. While the resort itself has many positive qualities, the lack of respectful and attentive management made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at the beautiful Corinthia Palace, which is surely one of the very best hotels in Malta. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the busier tourist areas, the hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquillity and comfort. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, with every member of staff providing a warm, professional and attentive experience that truly reflected the hotel's five-star standards. The only slight issue we experienced, which I understand has been mentioned by previous guests, was early morning dog barking from approximately 6:00am onwards. Unfortunately, this did disrupt our sleep on several occasions. Whilst it is appreciated that this is largely outside the control of the hotel, it may be helpful for guests to be mindful of room selection and, where possible, request a room less affected by external noise. Aside from this minor point, our stay was excellent from start to finish. The facilities, surroundings, service and overall guest experience were all first class. Overall, this is a truly five-star hotel supported by exceptional service, and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone visiting Malta.
