This is not a five-star hotel. It is a residential high-rise pretending to be one. The entrance is small, the layout is cramped, the room feels undersized, and even the flat-screen TV is tiny for a hotel charging these prices. From my window, I can literally see directly into the window of the room next to mine. The street noise is terrible, and the view is just as bad. There is only ONE Discovery Primea in the entire world, and after staying here, I understand why. This does not feel like a serious luxury hotel concept. It feels like part of a residential tower was converted into a hotel, slapped with a five-star label, and priced accordingly. Bottom line: one Discovery Primea in the entire world. Manila, Makati. That’s it. Five-star prices. No five-star amenities. No five-star experience. Stay away. Not recommended at any price.

I had been searching for weeks for a hotel that felt truly romantic, elegant, and timeless, and Discovery Primea was exactly what I had been looking for. I especially want to recognize Ezra Tecson, who went above and beyond to make my birthday stay possible. The rate was initially a little beyond my budget. He took the time to work something out and came back with an even better arrangement. That gesture genuinely made my day and made my birthday stay even more special. The room was absolutely gorgeous. The classic, understated luxury and timeless design are something I feel many newer hotels are missing. But beyond the beautiful room, what I loved most was the sense of calm throughout Primea. It felt like an oasis, almost like stepping into a bubble where the noise and rush of the outside world simply ceased to exist. I also discovered the chapel, which was beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful. It was one of those unexpected spaces where you could simply sit, breathe, and feel completely calm. What impressed me most, though, was the service. Every staff member I encountered from housekeeping and security to the pool attendants, restaurant, and bar teams was warm, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. The consistency of the service really stood out. The breakfast service was another highlight and easily one of the best hotel breakfast experiences I’ve had in years. Discovery Primea gave me exactly the kind of stay I had been hoping for, and the people made it even better. Thank you, Ezra, and the entire Primea team, for making my birthday memorable. I will definitely be coming back!

The location is great, just across rustan’s. I celebrated my birthday here and the room’s atmosphere is homey and quiet. Loved the clean bathroom and the service is indeed top notch! Real value for money.

It was a good experience staying here. The staffs were accommodating and friendly. Special mention to Duty Manager Amyr who is very helpful and knowledgeable on everything. He gives good suggestion of restaurants in the area even if it is raining hard. I really love the food served in breakfast too. I will be back for sure.
