Shana Hotel & Spa

Excellent stay, highly recommend for family with kids. Pool, restaurant, rooms, access to beach were excellent. Were able to watch wildlife inside the resort which was a plus as well. Overall - it was a memorable stay! And kudos to the staff, you were excellent.

It was amazing! Wonderful staff and very clean property. The pools, the food, and the rooms were perfect. Beds were so comfortable. We loved our stay and will return.

This hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful.The buffet breakfast was plentiful, with many options. I fell in love with the fried plantains. The monkeys are everywhere and provide quite the entertainment. We were traveling with our 12 year old granddaughter and booked a room that had 2 beds. When we arrived there was only one, but they said the sofa made into a bed. Actually it was more like a futon on the floor. She was fine with it. Kids don't need much. But as this trip was a birthday present to her, we were a little disappointed. While I liked this hotel, the location was not ideal. It is tucked way back on a narrow windy road up the mountain. Once we drove in, we did not want the stress of driving that road so we took taxi or uber everywhere while we were there. We left our car parked until we left.

Beautiful hotel! Very nice mountainside location, tucked right in the rainforest and looking out over the coast. The staff was great, the room was spacious with a great little balcony and view to the ocean. The pool, restaurant, bars and nearby beach made it so we really didn't even have to leave. Can't wait to return.

Such an amazing stay!! The pool was gorgeous and all of the people were so kind and helpful! Johnny was great and helped us find sloths! But all of the service was amazing and the restraunt was delicious! The view from our balcony was insane and we saw so many monkeys! Rooms also stayed cool all night! Also has its own beach that was gorgeous!! Loved the shana
