Isla Bella Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July weekend at Isla Bella!! The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking ocean views and a relaxing atmosphere. The fireworks display was spectacular. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back.

I was very hesitant to book this ResortPass for 4th of July because it was significantly less than other resorts in the Islamorada area about 50 miles north, but the Cabana at Isla Bella exceeded my expectations. All the staff were extremely nice and attentive The only negative I could say was that the reception/lobby building was a little hard to find, but it wasn't that bad. After checking in, everything else was great. We booked a cabana in the main pool which was large enough that we weren't really splashed or annoyed by little kids, and there were a lot there considering it was 4th of July weekend. The other pools were also nice, and just plain rectangular pools with lounge chairs around. They also have an over 21 pool which was pretty private and was great for an alternative to the large pool if the kids had been an issue. The resort has the nicest hotel store I've ever seen and they make fresh salads and sandwiches and had pastries and coffee and gelato along with other resort wear and items you may have forgotten. In that building you can book kayaks, padddle boards, jet skis, fishing etc. We wanted to do paddle boarding but the oars had melted from the heat, so we kayaked and melted ourselves from the heat but it was great and reasonably priced. There is beach access as well and the staff did a great job of cleaning the seaweed from the beach, however, the water was too warm to enjoy. Luckily the pools were perfect temps. Food and drinks were good, not crazy prices for a resort on July 4th. They had live music that was great and in multiple locations. Overall, we are 100% coming back for a day pass and will likely book a weekend at the hotel in the future.

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon is the kind of hotel that reminds you what true hospitality looks like. Every corner of the property is beautifully maintained and cared for with an attention to detail that is immediately noticeable and deeply appreciated. The pool options are impressive in both variety and quality, giving guests plenty of ways to relax and enjoy the stunning Florida Keys setting. The rooms are comfortable, generously spacious and kept to an impeccable standard of cleanliness that makes you feel genuinely at home from the moment you walk in. But what elevates Isla Bella above and beyond any other resort in the area is its staff. Warm, always smiling and genuinely eager to help, every member of the team goes out of their way to ensure your stay is as enjoyable and memorable as possible. That level of care and dedication is rare and it makes all the difference. If you are planning a Florida Keys getaway, look no further. Isla Bella Beach Resort is an easy and enthusiastic recommendation.

We stayed for a week and had a great experience! The resort is private and, for the most part, quiet. The rooms don't really overlook the ocean but rather the bay. The pools and lawn games are located right in front of the patios, so it can be difficult to relax outside at times, especially in the evenings when kids are playing and it can get a little loud. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and loved the layout. Our only real complaint was that the second bedroom doesn't have its own climate control. With the doors closed, that room can get quite warm. We did not eat on the property. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and we're "foodies" who enjoy experiencing the local cuisine. We are also early risers and would have loved to enjoy coffee on the patio each morning. Unfortunately, the coffee shop located in the gift shop doesn't open until 7:00 a.m. and gets very busy. It would be nice if it opened a little earlier or if there was a self-serve coffee station available around 6:00–6:30 a.m. One other issue we noticed was the hot water. It took quite a while to heat up in the mornings—we often had to let it run for about 20 minutes, and it was still only lukewarm. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property! I'm in the hotel industry and tend to be very particular about where I stay. If we were ever back in the area, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

We had a great time staying for our fourth time at the resort. It’s a great get away and our Doberman loves the beach. The entire staff and restaurant is always accommodating and food is amazing.
