Best kept secret in the Keys! This was our third trip to Tranquility Bay because we absolutely love everything about. This trip was to celebrate our 40th anniversary and we brought our whole family to share the fun! Even my 4 month old granddaughter!

Pretty Location But Service Was Terrible
When we arrived to see if we could check in early if possible ,said they were cleaning our room but we could use the amenities while waiting. Finally the room was ready, it was on the second floor & the stairs were very steep not ideal. The room was large, but no closet or iron or ironing board. The grounds were nice. We wanted some quiet time so we ventured over to the adult only pool, it was full of children, we mentioned to the staff and they advised the parents & ten minutes later full of kids again. That's one of the reasons we booked here. The staff were not too friendly and did not go out of their way. I think they were understaffed and it showed. Parking was also an issue upon check in there was a large family who asked where will there friends park when they come visit them at the hotel, did not remind them this is for registered guests only. We stayed at Faro Blanco previously ,thats where we'll go back to next time we visit Marathon!
