Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort

Super nice experience from beginning to end. Facility very clean as well as the unit we stayed. Whole staff was courteous and friendly. Great food at Tiki Bar and friendly service. Worth every penny. Truly recommend for total relaxation get away.

I reported that the housekeeping personnel had dispose of my cpab nose mask and my Neil med packet and rinse bottle. I called to report items missing and Operation manager Miguel called me and he was sending his supervisor to come look around the room. After 3 phone calls and an hour later, no one showed up. For the next 3 nights I slept on the coach because without the nose mask I could not wear my cpab and will be snoring and would have waken my wife. Needless to say for the next 3 days I was tired because I did not get a good night sleep and didn’t enjoy my vacation fully. No phone calls from the operation manager Miguel nor from anyone at tranquility for an apology. This hotel was rated a 4 star hotel?

We love Tranquility Bay. We have visited serval times over the past few years, and each visit has been exceptional! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very helpful. Best of all is the PRIVATE beach. Only guests have access to the beach which gives it an exclusive, clubby feel. The "homes" are beautiful, and with a full kitchen, there is no need to drive off property if you want to enjoy a breakfast on your own porch.

The resort is beautiful with fantastic views and one of the nicest beaches in the Keys. The Villas are well appointed and spacious. The reason I give a two star rating is the service. Please be cautious booking through Trip Advisor. We booked and paid extra for a 2 Bedroom Beach Front Villa. When we checked in, we were given a water view next to the pool. I showed our reservation and they said their system showed a different room type and I would need to speak with the manager the next morning as no beachfront rooms were available. While they were able to put us a bit closer in a water view villa. it was a one night stay and when I spoke with the front desk manager the next day, I was told it was not their issue and no credit could be given for the incremental expense as it was booked through Trip Advisor. I was also told that while specific views can be requested they are not guaranteed. When I asked why I had to pay extra for a higher category that was not provided, no explanation or resolutions was given. They would advise their corporate office but they could not do anything to help. I was disappointed and a bit surprised by the lack of help or even empathy provided by the management to resolve the issue.

Just a stunning property!! We had a three bedroom ocean front villa and it was just perfect! Plenty of room to spread out!! There were six of us. Great location to water sports, pool and Tiki Bar. (where we had dinner one evening) Staff were friendly and it was a very peaceful location. Their beach was extremely shallow and great for little ones or a quick dip. We plan on coming back for sure!!
