A truly memorable stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture, immaculate gardens, and a peaceful setting that makes it easy to relax. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a fantastic variety of fresh, high-quality options, and every meal i had was delicious. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, making me feel genuinely welcome. The spa was one of the highlights of the visit. Beautifully maintained, a perfect place to unwind. Loved spending time by the outdoor pool, which never felt overcrowded, and the private beach club was a wonderful bonus, with a lovely beachfront setting for a relaxing day by the water. The golf courses surrounding the resort are immaculate and add to the peaceful atmosphere, whether you're playing or simply enjoying the views. Overall, this is a luxurious resort that delivers on every level. The attention to detail, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, and outstanding service made for a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend this relaxing five-star escape.

Loving every moment at Villa Padierna. The setting is most relaxing especially the pool and terrace, where Javier was so attentive and always so welcoming with a fun sense of humor.

A large and very magnificent complex.

A luxurious complex in the style of an Ancient Roman villa, built specifically for a hotel a few decades ago. One of the reasons for the construction was said to be the need to display the owner's overgrown collection of ancient art. Allegedly, all the artworks in the hotel (there are very, very many of them) are originals. This hotel is an Instagrammer's dream place because every "centimetre" of this hotel is very photogenic, but luckily there aren't many typical Instagrammers here. We had the simplest room, but it was very pleasantly furnished and of sufficient size, there was also space to open suitcases on the floor. The view of the golf courses was also great. The air conditioning was quiet and the room itself was also quiet. Very good level of service. High-quality and rich breakfast. You can choose from the buffet or order from the a ‘la carte menu. Since it was advertised in advance that you can order food from the chef for breakfast that is not on the menu, I took the opportunity to try the Spanish potato omelette. Although it takes longer than usual to prepare it, the chef made it for me. There are several good (and expensive) restaurants in the hotel. The pool officially opens at 11:00 (which seems very late), but in reality, this means that the staff arrives at 11:00. Sun loungers are prepared at around 9:00 and then a certain amount of towels are brought over. The pool is a good size and is also suitable for swimming, but during peak times the lower part of the pool is full of people moving chaotically back and forth in the pool and swimming between them is difficult. In addition to free drinking water, sunscreen was also offered by the pool. Unlimited access to the SPA with 13 different saunas is included in the price of the stay. Paid valet parking, but there is also a free parking option somewhere further away. The hotel is located in an area of golf courses and villas and there is probably nothing to do within walking distance other than playing golf. I liked the size of the hotel (number of guests), there are not too many guests, but not so few that you feel lonely. The visitors were mostly of respectable behaviours and all age groups were represented. We stayed in several hotels in the same price category and if we evaluate luxury, this hotel was definitely the best price-quality ratio of them. We definitely want to visit this hotel again. We were looking for hotels on the beach, this hotel is far from the sea on a hill, but since we really liked the hotel and they have their own beach club on the beach, we agreed to make an exception for this hotel regarding the location. Unfortunately, it turned out on site that the beach club is not open every day and it was closed during our visit. This was a big disappointment, if we had known this information in advance, we would have changed the time of our visit. Before arriving at the hotel, I bought a couple of beers and when the bellboy brought the bags to the room, he said that the owner had asked us to repeat that you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into the hotel (let alone consume it here), but he forgave us for breaking this rule on this occasion. Luckily, he didn't know that I also had two bananas in my bag, apparently bringing your own food is also prohibited. Many guests left their pool towels on the sun loungers when they left and they were rarely cleaned up and this caused confusion, because although there were not very many people, most of the sun loungers were occupied with towels. This hotel often hosts events and during events there can be a lot of noise and the entire hotel infrastructure can be overloaded.

Top property with even better staff

The hotel is one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. The hotel staff takes care of every single need you have. Along with that, the hotel is scenic and so well laid out. Along with that I love the connectivity to the beach club provided by the hotel
