Don Carlos Leisure Resort & Spa

We are currently staying at the beautifully renovated Don Carlos Hotel and feel compelled to write this review even before we leave, due to the kindness, professionalism & efficiency of the team at the hotel. Things did not go entirely as we expected on check in, but things were quickly sorted out immediately, but it was the way this happened that has really impressed us. The management & staff are dedicated to making sure that everyone who comes here, has the best experience possible & this has certainly been the case with us? Our room is amazing (4 305) above the spa, with wonderful views of the sea, very Chic & modern with an enormous, comfortable bed. Impeccably cleaned & a great turndown service at night, who doesn’t love coming back from dinner to a nice tidy room? We have used the hotel main pool & found sun beds easy to come by, with towels laid out by the helpful pool staff, it has a large heated pool, which was very welcome, also great for lane swimming. We also used Lucia Beach Club, which was free for hotel guests, it got very busy & was a pleasant alternative to the main pool. We plan to go to Nikki Beach today. High praise must go to Manero, the bar & restaurant, which is the hub of the hotel, the decor is absolutely stunning, it has what must be the most beautiful restaurant in Marbella! The terrace areas seem to be more popular at this time of the year due to the lovely weather, but the decor inside is amazing. The bar comes alive at dusk & into the evening, with great music from the DJ & beautiful mood lighting. All staff are super friendly & efficient, a particular mention must go to Danny, who looked after us so well last night at dinner, I am only sorry that I didn’t get the other staffs names, as all of them have been equally friendly & efficient during our several visits. Other mentions should go to David, the Housekeeping Manager, Blas, the front office Manager, Tony & Maria from Guest Relations, who have all been instrumental in making our stay so extraordinary. We will definitely return

We had the pleasure of attending the Finance Cup at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in Marbella, and I can honestly say it was the best venue experienced in the 11-year history of the tournament. From the very first planning discussions to the final day of the event, everything was organised to perfection. The entire team was professional, welcoming, attentive, and incredibly accommodating throughout. A special thank you goes to MAGGIE, who was simply outstanding. No matter what request, question, or challenge arose, she always found a solution. We never heard „no“ — only a genuine willingness to ensure that every detail was taken care of. Her dedication, flexibility, and positive attitude made a tremendous difference and contributed greatly to the success of the event. The facility itself is exceptional: modern, beautifully maintened, and offerings fantastic atmosphere. The tennis courts and overall setting provide the perfect environment for high-quality sporting and corporate events. The buffet and catering were equally impressive. The food quality was excellent, the presentation was first-class, and the service was flawless. Throughout the event, numerous participants approached both , David and the outstanding organisation at the club, and the overall experience. What impressed us the most was how effortlessly everything ran. Even with a large number of participants, everything aspect of the event was handled smoothly and and professionally. It is clear that this team takes a great pride in delivering excellence. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Marbella for corporate events, tournaments, conferences, and private functions. The combination of world-class facilities, outstanding service, and exceptional staff makes it a truly special venue. Thank you to Maggie, the management team, and all the staff members for helping create such a memorable and successful event. We look forward to returning in the future.

Lovely hotel, beautiful decor, great gym facility , great beach club - very limited vegetarian/ or vegan options though on menus throughout hotel and beach club

Went to play padel at Rafa Nadal with friends. Very beautiful and clean. All really friendly staff. Special thanks to Maggy for being so helpful with the parking and other things. Very kind 😊
