We stayed at the Don Carlos in May for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The service of this hotel is exceptional - as soon as we arrived, we were greeted with sparkling wine and artisan chocolates from the region. Furthermore, we got a comprehensive tour of the property, and we were shown our beautiful room. As soon as we arrived at the room, our suitcases were already there. The property is beautiful and clean - Madero restaurant is decorated to a beautiful standard, and the food is really good. There is also a smoothie/healthy restaurant and many other places to eat on the property. The agreement with Lucia Beach Club works really well - the staff are lovely and attentive and the club is well-kept and a lovely place to hang out. The only tiny tiny thing I would say could be improved is that sometimes breakfast can be a little busy at weekends and so sometimes the food/drinks do finish and take a while to be refilled/replaced. Other than that, this is the perfect hotel.

We wanted to share with our family the most beautiful Menaro bar & garden space as when we last visited in Septembe just the Campari bar was open .lovely welcome by the hostess who showed us to a table & then nothing happened... Several guys in their white jackets & a supervisor type in a dark suit were doing very little , jtst fliiting about & had to be summoned to order our drinks.At this time thre were about a dozen people in the bar & garden space & only one barman making quite complicated cocktails...so it took at least 10 mins for our drinks to arrive This lack of management direction & interest in doing business saddens me greatly s the whole hotel & this arden sopace is one of the most beautiful renovations i have ever seen in my years in hospitality.What is going on ere..does the investor Signor Menaro know? Particularly as the bistro is due to open soon... Perhaps the hostess needs to take charge as clearly the guys are not interested other than in looking sharp ! ?

My daughter had few sessions at the RN Tenis Center with Jeremy as a couch. He was by far the best couch she trained with - attentive, patient and very dedicated. She managed to master a difficult technique and appreciated the experience. At the reception, Maggie provided us with excellent service greeting us with a big smile and accommodating our preferences for booking the trainings and logistics. The center is very busy, so advance booking is needed, especially during the busy season.
