Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella

We stayed for four nights end of May and our first time to Marbella, Soon as we arrived at hotel we knew it was for us , lovely welcome and shown to our room , which was really nice and in the garden part . We loved the pool each day and the staff always friendly, another thing we noticed how clean everything was and being looked after to the gardens and the pool each day , We also like the idea of the social hour for drinks and the roof top bar also . Breakfast was always great with good choices and things cooked to order as well, & proper coffee , the restaurant had lovely inside and outside sitting area too , We will definitely return here and had a lovely stay so much we have just recommended to our son and he has just booked also GREAT STAY Thank you

Why I would recommend this hotel: A stylish luxury retreat with beautiful grounds, outstanding service and an exceptional atmosphere Location & views: The hotel is located in a beautiful and exclusive residential area surrounded by luxury villas, creating a peaceful and sophisticated atmosphere. It is an ideal choice for guests looking to relax away from the crowds. Marbella's city centre is a short drive away for those seeking nightlife and more activity. While the hotel is situated close to the motorway, this was not particularly noticeable within the property. The Dolce & Gabbana beach club is beautifully designed, immaculately maintained and offers excellent service, although prices are on the higher side. Next to it is a quiet public beach without services, perfect for long walks along the sea. Check-in: The welcome was warm, personal and genuinely friendly. Some members of the team appeared to be relatively new but they handled this very professionally by openly admitting when they did not know the answer to a question and quickly finding someone who could help. This honesty made the service feel authentic rather than scripted. Room: We were kindly upgraded to a Suite, which was greatly appreciated. Although it did not offer a sea view, the room itself was beautifully designed with warm colors that perfectly reflected the hotel's elegant style. The private terrace and small garden created a relaxing outdoor space. The bathroom amenities were of excellent quality, and the staff were outstanding at quickly arranging any additional amenities that were requested. Hotel facilities: The beautifully landscaped gardens are one of the highlights of the property, complemented by pleasant background music throughout the resort. The pool area is exceptionally stylish with some of the most comfortable sun loungers I have experienced. The rooftop bar is another standout feature, attracting both hotel guests and local visitors thanks to its panoramic views, live DJ and vibrant atmosphere. The fitness centre is relatively small but well equipped and enjoys lovely garden views. The spa, however, appears not to have been renovated and would benefit from a redesign to match the rest of the hotel's contemporary aesthetic. Restaurant: Both the food and service were outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly (especially the lady welcoming the guests) and made honest recommendations rather than simply promoting the most expensive dishes. The fresh fish was perfectly prepared and dining outdoors created a wonderful atmosphere, especially during the themed evenings with live music. Breakfast was also very good, offering a wide variety of choices and everything you would generally expect from a luxury hotel. That said, I felt there was still room to make it feel even more generous and queues at the egg station could become quite long during peak hours. Social Hour: Kimpton's complimentary Social Hour is a fantastic concept but unfortunately it is not promoted or celebrated nearly enough at this property. Guests have to ask about it proactively and the staff did not seem particularly enthusiastic when offering it. This is a missed opportunity as it could be a wonderful way to create a lively atmosphere and encourage guests to spend more time in the bar. Overall: Kimpton Los Monteros is a truly beautiful hotel with elegant interiors, stunning gardens, an outstanding rooftop bar and an excellent restaurant. The overall atmosphere feels refined and exclusive, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing luxury escape, both for couples as well as for families. The clientele is upscale. The guest service consistently went the extra mile and responded quickly to every request, leaving a lasting positive impression. I would happily recommend this hotel and would very much look forward to returning.

Just wow,from the minute we arrived Carlos could not make us feel more welcome,honestly we went as a family for my 50th birthday and everything from service,food,drink,atmosphere was impeccable,and for me no saving sunloungers with towels or worring we had to rush for a bed,honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and Noah you were fabulous,we will be back xx

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Kimpton Los Monteros and can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. As IHG Diamond members, we were delighted to receive a generous room upgrade on arrival. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable and featured a fantastic terrace. The entire hotel has been renovated to a very high standard, combining luxury with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. What really sets this hotel apart is the service. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely interested in ensuring guests had a great experience. Nothing felt forced or scripted; hospitality came naturally to the team. The spa was another highlight. We enjoyed treatments on consecutive days, and the massages were among the best we have ever experienced. The therapists were highly skilled and created a truly relaxing experience that left us feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The pool area is stunning, with a sophisticated yet laid-back ambience and plenty of comfortable loungers. It quickly became our favourite place to unwind during the day. In the evenings, Escondido Rooftop Bar was exceptional. The cocktails were excellent, the food was delicious and the views across Marbella towards the mountains created the perfect setting for sunset drinks. It became a highlight of our stay and somewhere we looked forward to returning to each evening. A special mention should also go to the hotel for allowing us to make full use of our final day. Having a late departure flight, being able to continue enjoying the facilities before leaving made a huge difference and was a gesture we greatly appreciated. Kimpton Los Monteros strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort and genuine hospitality. We enjoyed our stay so much that we were already looking at dates to return before we had even left. Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again soon.
