Dear Nobu Team, I was currently staying at your hotel in a Junior Suite for five nights, having specifically chosen NOBU Marbella to celebrate my birthday 18 July wish was never noticed by the hotel ( not a card …flower ) Being denied access to restaurant/ Bar and constantly snub in the resort is unacceptable . I staying at NOBU to enjoy all the facilities, the only matters of the hotels was minimum spending ! Minimum spending ! Constantly repeatedly to a guess to spend money is unacceptable. to access the Nobu beach and was told that I had to pay an additional fee to use a sunbed. considering the high price of my suite. I was then shown the only area that was free of charge, which was in an appalling state — dirty and damaged sunbeds, no service, and a complete lack of attention. This is completely at odds with the polished image presented by NOBU hotels. Very desapointed ! Never again !

The Nobu hotel is a beautiful experience that we would recommend to anyone. The resort is stunning with a calming and relaxing atmosphere! We want to say a special thank you to Jana, she made our stay for our wedding so special. All the staff couldn’t do enough for you and went above and beyond to deliver a 5 star service! Absolutely luxurious hotel managed by a fantastic team! ❤️❤️❤️ Alex & Jess

Went with my 2 teen boys (14 & 11) and found the Nobu section of Puente Romano to be more geared toward adults. It is loud until the wee hours every single night. Good thing the air conditioning was able to drown out the music. Why they put us right above the plaza where all the hot restaurants are is beyond my understanding. The included breakfast at Chiringuito was too “trendy” for my kids - they just wanted a normal lux buffet breakfast, not oat pancakes or beet smoothies, or tofu Eggs Benedict. The Guest Experience concierge was excellent at responding to our many requests on WhatsApp, so I would give that attention to detail a big thumbs up. After day 3 of my boys sulking and not eating much for breakfast, we asked to switch to the regular Puente Romano breakfast at SeaGrill, which was AMAZING. By far the best 5-star hotel breakfast that I’ve experienced, and we just came from the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Sevilla which also had an excellent buffet. The service and the attention to various guest’s needs and tastes was far superior to Nobu’s. This breakfast actually changed the tone of our stay in Marbella. Wish I had known to speak up a little earlier. We spent a lot of time at the family pools. The pool attendants tried to be helpful, but there’s only 1 of them trying to service the entire area, so we had to get ourselves towels, and wait until they cleared loungers that were free. My boys were reprimanded several times for using balls in the pool. We noted the sign that says no ball playing, but also says no floaties and other objects and also no jumping into the pool, but floaties nor jumping are not enforced as much. At one pool the attendant said the ball they had was too big (volleyball), so we went to Old Town and bought a very small one. Then when there was no one in the pool and no one sitting at their loungers, they were told not to play with the ball in case it splashes other guests. I know the lifeguards are just doing their duties and it is not their rules, but they should learn to have better decision-making and assess the situation.I had a nice convo with the lifeguard and got it all sorted out but my boys acted as if the joy got sucked out of everything they wanted to do at the pool. I also got whacked in the head twice with very young kids throwing and kicking balls into the pool, but being a parent of two active boys, I know that it is just an accident and all in good fun. If I wanted a quiet pool, I would have gone to the adults only Nobu pool. One small suggestion at the pool would be to have water stations available. The only water available is at the Cheat and Rachel’s Eco Love restaurants, and for purchase. In the heat of June/July/August it would be nice to get a small cup of water (cold, if possible). There was a lady who overheated and ambulance services had to be called. Prices at the resort’s restaurants are high, so be prepared. And service is somewhat slow and attendants are sometimes confused over whose table and whose food they are delivering. The beach where Nobu has sun loungers is full of seaweed and not as nice as the rest of the Golden Mile, so we spent very little time at the beach. I saw no need to rent a sun bed on the other side of the sea wall personally given the high price of the resort. Otherwise the Puente Romano resort is very lush and beautiful. The gardens are well maintained. The courtesy shuttle is much appreciated as we went to Casco Antiguo and Puerto Banus several times for dinners. Although it shuts down at 10 pm, taxis back to the hotel were easy and reasonable. Again, the Guest Services was super helpful and responsive, which is so appreciated. I think when we return to Marbella, I would just book at Puente Romano and not the Nobu Hotel. Not sure what benefits there were to staying there.

From check-in to check-out everything was excellent. The restaurants near by have great food. We tried Uni for lunch and El Pimpi for dinner. The flamenco show was fantastic! Make sure you make rervations in advance! Pablo and Oscar helped us with our luggage and answered all our questions. The breakfast at el chiringuito was great as well. Can't wait to come back!

My wife and I just got back from Nobu Marbella where we celebrated our 40th birthday's, and absolutely loved the time spent during our stay. Great vibe during the day and night, and the staff was outstanding, including helping us secure a last-minute dinner reservation at Lena (best steak I've ever had) and a beach bed during the day at Chiringuito after we decided not to go to another beach club ~15 minutes away. The staff at the Adult-only pool was also great (we went there at some point everyday) and it wasn't too crowded which was a positive. The rooms were big (we stayed in a Junior Suite), clean, and always restocked with water once we got back to the room which was appreciated after spending the day in the sun. The gym on the property is arguably one of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen, with live music being played every time I was there--it's also big which gives you plenty of personal space to workout, which you normally do not find at hotel gyms. While there is a draw to leave the property for dinner, you really don't need to as there are plenty of options to select from and we felt that we didn't need reservations at most places especially if there are only two of you as the staff will find a way to have a table (or bar seat) available at some point. Highly recommend Sea Grill, Nobu, or Pica Pica if you are looking to grab pizza. The food at the pool near Sea Grill is also very good during the day. The Plaza area is very lively (in a good way) and Claude's was a fun nightcap with a live piano player. The Suite del Mar beach party on Wednesday night between 20.00-22.00pm was also a big highlight with great music, dancing and a fire dancer. We will definitely be back to Nobu Marbella (hopefully soon). Thanks for making our trip memorable.
