Rio Real Golf & Hotel

This is a wonderful golf course with very helpful staff and a course in great condition. Will definitely be back and my family guests were really pleased with the course.

We played a round of golf at Rio Real. We have been several times before and the course has always been in good condition. This time it was exceptional. Very well manicured and the staff were very friendly. Great buggies which were programmed to go slow where there were steep slopes and alerted you to when you were passing toilets! The course is well laid out and every hole is different. We will be back!! Highly recommend this course.

We played the golf course on Saturday 21st September. The course was exceptional, the tees, fairways and green were in great condition. The course was not too busy so we took around 4 hrs for a fourball to complete. The starter was friendly as were the staff at the restaurant - great food too!

We stayed at least 5 times at Rio Real hotel and it is a decent hotel if you wish to play golf at the very nice Rio Real Golf. No complaints about the hotel and its accommodations as it reflects an acceptable price for quality offered. The problem however is that the hotel management is totally dishonest and is not afraid to steal from its loyal guests. I stayed for the last time at the hotel in April 2024. The hotel was paid twice for my 3 night stay (1x by Booking, 1x by me) and refuses until today to reimburse me. I have talked and written to all levels of management but they still refuse to comply with the rules of decency. While my children still like to visit the Rio Real Golf and their excellent Academy, we will never again set foot at the hotel and advise all to do the same, because one day you might become a victim of their thievery. Beware!

Great golf course, with great views of the area. They allowed my wife & I to play as a twosome which was nice. We played in around 3 1/2 hours and were never pressured. Rental clubs we good expect for the old putter, but you can't have everything.
