The setting at the JW Marriot was perfect and our photographer Chris was GREAT! He arrived with the warmest smile ready to take on our party of 11. He was patient with our group, making sure we were able to photograph everyone together and in smaller groups & couples. Chris was creative with the setting and made sure that we took pictures in multiple places and captured beautiful photos along with some great candid photos. He wasn't rushed and took his time making sure all of our needs were met. We were so pleased with the outcome and had a hard time narrowing down which photos to choose. I would highly recommend him if you are in the Marco Island area.

I had a great overall experience. The weather was great and the service was unmatched. I was personally helped by Sean during my stay and he did an outstanding job making sure I was all set at the beach and taken care of. Highly recommend.

My wife and I rung in the New Year on Marco Island...the weather and beach are the best. Giving a shout-out to Jacob, who sets up loungers and beach umbrellas. He's a welcome return icon...very personable and takes care of the details. Thanks Jacob. Mike and Nancy

Worst resort hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Both of my children were served uncooked chicken during lunch. No housekeeping service until 5 pm and then only when I called and begged the hotel for housekeeping. Multiple elevators constantly out of service. $7 for a soft drink. Should I go on? Never, ever again

This is a beautiful resort. We have stayed a few times. We love Marco Island. Simply put - the hotel has too many people staying there and not enough people working there. Service was very hot and cold. We had initial room issues upon check in. I knew more about the room view type that we paid for compared to the front desk person who was helping us. It was extremely frustrating. It ultimately took two managers and a few hours to sort it out. Our room and certain areas of the resort were very tired. Housekeeping was not consistent. For the entire week that we were there fingerprints from kids and bird poop was all over our glass windows and patio furniture. It was never wiped or cleaned. We ultimately cleaned it on the last night of our vacation. We had to call a few times for new towels and soap. One day when returning to our room we arrived to our door not being closed. There was no housekeeper around and we were very hesitant to approach the room. We found a staff member who sent a lead housekeeper to our door. She apologized and said she had been training someone and that person forgot to shut it. I was horrified by this. While we had no safety concerns on property, this felt very unsafe. Beach service was decent, but lines in the morning for simple coffee at the shop was 30-45 mins long. At times it felt more like a cruise ship with the crowds. A few times they ran out of water bottles at the front desk. It’s an absolutely beautiful resort and has so much potential. They just need more people who are service minded and understand hospitality to work there.
