JW Marco Island - Loving Our Kane Tiki Bar & Grill Family & friends
We love the JW Marriott Marco Island and have made it our go to September get away six of the past seven years. We especially love our Kane Tiki Bar & Grill family away from home: Mike, Chris, Rebekka, & Nezo. They are truly the main reason we keep coming back every year. Unfortunately, the hotel closed Kane's two of the six nights that we there claiming low occupancy. This is the second time in the past three years that the hotel has done so with little notice and we were not happy about it. So much so that we are questioning why we would keep coming back if we can't spend time with our friends at Kane's while having dinner, cigar and a nightcap with great company (Kane's is a licensed cigar bar)! It would sadden us to not come back next year, but that would be on the hotel management team that keeps closing Kane's when it gets a bit slow, no matter how it negatively affect its loyal customers (I am an Ambassador Elite Member).
