For context, we traveled as a couple (late 30s) in to St. Lucia over Thanksgiving week. We stayed at Zoëtry Marigot Bay (using CC points) for five nights and had a wonderful experience. The resort is set in Marigot Bay, a magical location which attracts yachts and sailboats. Think high-end, yet authentic Caribbean vibes. We arrived on a Sunday evening and took the water ferry (Fun to See) transfer from the airport — something I highly recommend. At check-in, one of the staff (shoutout to Claudius) greeted us with cold towels, and gave us a golf-cart tour of the property before taking us to our room. Our room faced the bay and had a great balcony with a beautiful view. AC worked very well. We had a small issue with our room one night, but staff resolved our issue quickly. We ate all our meals on property with the exception of one excursion lunch. All of our food was very good. However, we didn’t try room service. There are two restaurant options for lunch and two for dinner. Keep in mind, the restaurants aren’t at the level of the Four Seasons, but still very good. 1812 had the best food of all the restaurants IMO. One evening, the dinner special was fresh local lobster, and it was absolutely delicious. On our last night, 1812 offered a Caribbean buffett, which had tons of amazing gluten-free options. We also had dinner at The Cove, where our server Tomia was wonderful. My husband ordered a wood fired pizza, but sadly no gluten-free crust option was offered. Coco Cafe, on the dock, was open all day and late into the evening. They have a good selection of ice creams (guava was my favorite) and surprisingly good coffee and espresso drinks. For lunch, we ate a few times at the bar, and the food was solid. The menu listed some gluten-free items that were actually not gluten-free (like tacos served on flour tortillas), but the staff correctly flagged the items that needed adjustment, which we appreciated. We had good experiences at Hurricane Hole as well. Shenele was a wonderful lunch server, and Laurence at the lobby bar made great drinks and was always so kind. Pro tip: order a fresh fruit daiquiri and banana smoothie. The property itself is very beautiful with lots of steps, but we didn’t have issues with the terrain. The bay is gorgeous and peaceful, and sitting out by the water was one of the highlights of our stay. There are many cats around the property. They were friendly, and loved any table scraps. I signed up for the Ridge Climb hike, one of the included activities. I’d rate the difficulty around a 7/10 — a bit challenging but absolutely worth it for the views. If you want to do this, ensure you have walking/hiking shoes with ankle support. We also paid $25 each for a sunset kayak tour, coordinated with the concierge, from the bay and out to the ocean. I highly recommend this. I used the onsite gym (near the spa) twice and it was spacious with several weights and equipment. Both times it was empty. The spa area looked gorgeous (think tranquil treehouse), but we didn’t feel the need for any services. FYI hotel guests do receive a free 20 minute massage during a specific time of day. We didn’t have time to take advantage of this. We booked an excursion with Joy’s Adventure through the hotel, which took us to Sugar Beach, the volcano mud baths at Sulphur Springs, and included a lovely lunch. This was an excellent outing and very well coordinated. Pro tip: wear clothes you don’t mind permanently staining as the sulphur will brown clothing. We also did a nearby bamboo river rafting tour, which was amazing. Check with the concierge for recommendations. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend Zoëtry Marigot Bay for anyone wanting a relaxing, scenic getaway with great service. A few opportunities for improvement: 1. Inventory all menus and correctly label them with gluten-free options and offer corn tortillas and a gluten-free pizza crust. 2. The “afternoon tea” activity (we even were told to sign up) was not a true activity. You just show up at Coco Cafe at a specific time and only have the option to order off the regular menu. I was under the impression this would be a special offering. 3. Open the steam room and sauna for hotel guests (at least offer one free pass). Otherwise, there is a fee. 4. Offer more live music in the evenings.

Horrible experience , they treated me less than other guest. Other guest received robes and a bag and slippers and i never got it i had to ask. I couldn't order room service and when i did the food never came. They also charge you for everything , when i booked they say transportation from airport and back was included but that was a lie they charge you a additional 125 usd for it . I cancel a excursion 2 days in advance and they still charged me full price. There is no entertainment on the property they dont even play any music. Everything closes at 10pm and turns into a ghost town. Any time something was wrong in the room and i called it would take hours for them to come . The list goes on. i love the island and i will be back but i will never give this resort another dollar of my money.
