Lovely setting with a wonderful view across the water. Fantastic michelin-grade dinner with great wine and cocktails. Lunch menu is a simpler affair. Came in by walking the Queen Charlotte track which provides great views from the ridge. Kayaks and other options for exploring the water, and water taxi in/out makes it a nice journey to get to.

We started our honeymoon at the Bay of Many Coves. Our experience was incredible from start to finish. The resort and views were stunning, so relaxing but with a good amount of activities to keep us occupied (when we weren’t sunbathing!). The staff and managers were so attentive and very friendly to make our stay perfect. The food was so divine and unique, with a delicious 5 course set menu changing every night (our preferences and food allergies always taken into account). Our Villa was simultaneously beautiful and so comfortable! We highly recommend The Bay of Many Coves to anyone venturing to the Marlborough sounds! We can’t wait to come back :)

The weather turned stormy;. but tho staff was spectacular. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, and were so kind we were amazed at how well they treated us. David, the GM, showed us constant attention and looked after our every need. Our suite was beautiful and very well kept. The location is spectacular and it was just our bad luck that the weather turned.. The food was great and the chef, Brian, prepared wonderful food that accommodated our dietary needs. The Bay of Many Coves is a must stay when visiting New Zealand—you won’t be disappointed.

We loved our stay here in this off-the-beaten-track resort! We hiked in on the QCT and were treated to sublime views. The hotel exceeded expectations and would recommend staying for a few days. The staff are super friendly and attentive and the setting is superb.
