Lovely stay at El Saadi Palace

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We had a wonderful day at this hotel. It was a little on the quiet side, but we enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the KSAR accommodations situated in the beautiful gardens and near the pool - it was a lovely experience. All the staff were amazing, especially Abdul who was very attentive and friendly. The pool is huge and clean with plenty of sunbeds ( as the hotel was quiet). Key attractions like the souks and M-avenue are a short taxi ride. The only minor let down was the breakfast, which felt a little disappointing. Yes, there was choice but given the size of the hotel, I would have expected much more from breakfast.

Good unless you're Moroccan.

I came on a day pass with my mother and my husband. My mother and I are English and my husband is Moroccan. The grounds are beautiful and it's very relaxing but there was a difference between how the staff treated my mother and I compared to my husband. We had lunch before him, had table service and drinks delivered given multiple food. My husband had to order at the bar, ordered a beer several times and it wasn't delivered. My mother had to go and speak to the staff and ask them to bring him what he asked and had paid for. Not impressed considering it cost £85 each.

Pool Day Pass - lovely experience.

Bought a day pass for the pool with lunch. Not cheap at 950DH but a wonderful experience with fantastic food and a fresh lemonade as a welcome drink included. Towels and sunbeds are included too. Staff very attentive and great facilities.

Lovely Hotel in Marrakech

This was the second time my friend and I have stayed at the Es Saadi Resort Palace in Marrakech. It's a lovely property with extensive amenities, including a spa, large gym (open until midnight), and beautiful pool. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with a large bathroom and huge closet. The staff were welcoming and professional, and we enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet. We would definitely recommend the Es Saadi Resort Palace for your Marrakech vacation!

Service lets it down

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

My husband and I stayed at the Es Saadi for a week, as the week went on the service went down. One night | got out the shower and there were no towels, we came in from the pool another night and the room hadn't been cleaned at all. We regularly go to 5 star hotels and would not class this as 5 stars, around the pool the staff do not come and ask you if you want a drink or anything to eat you have to go and find someone at the bar. In our opinion this is not 5 star service. Breakfast started good but as the week went on and the hotel got busier the staff were inattentive and frequently got our drinks order wrong. Plus points - The breakfast selection is excellent and the restaurant is lovely, the hotel location is great and the gardens are beautiful . Negatives - The service is hit and miss, Just not a luxury hotel in our opinion.
