The Oberoi, Marrakech

From the moment you arrive, you will be in awe by the architecture. The staff is exceptionally trained and extremely friendly. Throughout the stay there were always making sure my kids, husband and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. I can say without a doubt that you will not find the same customer service in any other hotel-it was amazing! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The kids club was our kids’ favorite place in the hotel. Extremely large with plenty of activities, they never wanted to leave. Highly recommend this hotel!

We’re on our penultimate day of an eleven-night stay, and not once have we had a single complaint. Everything here is effortless. A special thank you to the wonderful ladies, Zahira and Houda, who looked after our room so perfectly, the gentlemen who swept our terrace and cleaned our pool, the fantastic breakfast team, and the ever-helpful concierge. In fact, every single member of staff deserves praise – always greeting us with a smile and genuine warmth. Everyone here clearly embraces the unique ‘Oberoi’ style of service. One tip: use the hotel’s taxi service. Yousef, our driver, was outstanding – always on time, every time, for both drop-offs and pick-ups. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Absolute perfection from start to finish.

My wife and I are huge fans of Oberoi Group and are delighted it has recently been awarded No.1 Best Hotel Brand in the World by Telegraph Travel Awards UK and No.2 Best Hotel Brand in the World by Travel & Leisure. These are major achievements for such a niche luxury hotel brand however it comes as no surprise to us that Oberoi is regarded so highly across the world. We’ve been holidaying at Oberoi’s since 2012 and Oberoi Marrakech has become a firm favourite, so much so we’ve chosen to holiday here four times in the last 12 months. Oberoi Marrakech is the only short haul choice for us as it itruly eclipses every other luxury option. The immaculate Atlas Mountains facing property is magnificent and spreads out across a huge acreage of manicured grounds and waterways. The main buildings took almost a decade to construct and the magnificence and craftsmanship literally take the breath away. The pool villas are spaciously spread throughout the grounds and their design, amenities, size, luxury and tranquility are unsurpassed. The contemporary pool is situated within an olive grove and surrounded by well spaced loungers and the most comfortable daybeds with white muslin drapes shielding from the sun. The spa complex is surrounded by a wild pond and all windows, whether gym, yoga studio, treatment rooms or pool, look out over the water thriving with flora and fauna - the most beautiful and tranquil spa we’ve experienced. The gym is also one of the most spacious and best equipped hotel gyms we’ve used. A real highlight of the Oberoi Marrakech offering is the dining experience. Whether extensive breakfast on the gorgeous terraces of Tamimt or a refreshing lunch alongside the pool at Azur the choice is extensive and the quality superb. Our absolute favourite is Rivayat which is the contemporary Indian cuisine restaurant overseen by an award winning Michelin starred chef from London. Not only is the setting of the restaurant unequalled but the food is ‘off the scale’ in its inventiveness and taste with many opportunities to try new dishes and old favourites in a fusion style. Dining at Rivayat is an outstanding experience and way eclipses what you might ordinarily expect to find in a hotel setting. Moroccan wine is excellent and highly recommended too. The ultimate standout at all Oberoi Hotels is the people. The founder of family-owned Oberoi Group created the mantra “the guest is everything” and this shines through at every single one of their properties. In whichever setting whether their Nile Cruiser - Zahra, their beach resorts in Mauritius or Bali, or their leisure and city hotels in India, THE very best people and the ultimate in warm and professional service shines through. This is absolutely the case at Oberoi Marrakech where GM, Rohan, and his deputy, Mamdouh, lead the most wonderful team of people you could ever hope to take care of you. It is heartwarming to be greeted by the same smiling faces year after year and every single one, whether behind the scenes in housekeeping, gardening and food preparation, or on the front line, deserves the highest accolade. This stay has been made particularly special by Karima (a real superstar) and Chefs Anan and Sumit in Rivayat, Hassan in Vue, Oussama, Oussama, Ayoub, El Habib in Azur, and Mehdi in Tamimt. There’s a reason Oberoi Marrakech scores a perfect 5 on Tripadvisor and why my wife and I choose the visit as often as we can - it’s quite simply superb. You’ll be hooked if you decide to visit and we strongly recommend you make a booking and enjoy the very best Oberoi has to offer. It will be delightful.

The architecture of the courtyard is stunning. You see a lot of great Moroccan architecture in the old city and the courtyard just brings you back there - but uber luxury style. Really enjoyed the hospitality by Mamdouh and his team, the Rivayat Indian food and the amazing view of the gardens! Made our stay really great. Highly recommend a few days here to rejuvenate ❤️

This hotel has the best square very tranquil, superb architecture. The staff all very attentive and friendly. The hotel and grounds very well maintained and kept clean at all times. We keep returning to the hotel as the experience on each occasion is the same "Excellent"
