The Ochre City of Marrakech presents a tale of two cities. Vibrant arts and culture, world class golf courses and fashionable night life, juxtaposed with spiritual mystique, beautiful gardens, Andalusian architecture and traditional souks. The Oberoi, Marrakech is located within twenty-eight acres of Mediterranean orchards with fragrant citrus trees and centuries old olive groves.

The Oberoi Marrakech is one of the finest hotels in Marrakech. PROS-The setting and buildings are new but tastefully designed to reflect the Arab and Berber traditional artisan work of intricately c arved marble, wood and the beautiful tiles. The service was superb at the reception, the concierge Anas and the rooms director Mr.Mamdouh, and Sumit the chef at Ritawat all bent backwards to please. The Riyawat restaurant was one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. CON- This hotel deserves 5 + stars, except for a strange situation upon our departure. The golf buggy driver who came to collect us loaded our bags and sat us in the cart. But instead of driving us to the car transfer area, he went into our rooms for 5-10 minutes to check our suites, whilst we waited outside. Another cart parked behind us and a uniformed employee followed him into our room. We felt really uncomfortable about this whole process. This was definitely a first--our rooms being checked by employees, just as we are leaving them. The location is far from the Medina, so if you want to explore the neighborhoods of Marrakech, its not an ideal location.

We stayed for one night at The Oberoi, Marrakech to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and from the moment we arrived it was clear this was somewhere truly special. The welcome alone set the tone — warm, gracious, and genuinely thoughtful. Every member of staff we encountered made us feel not just welcomed, but cared for. Returning to our room to find several birthday surprises waiting was incredibly moving. The attention to detail and kindness behind these gestures brought my wife to tears and turned what was already a special trip into something unforgettable. The grounds are simply immaculate — serene, beautifully maintained, and framed by breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains that stop you in your tracks. Whether strolling through the gardens or just taking in the scenery, there’s a sense of calm and grandeur that’s hard to describe until you experience it. Dinner at Rivayat was faultless. The Indian cuisine was outstanding — rich, refined, and full of flavour — matched only by the exceptional service. The staff were attentive without ever being intrusive, making the whole evening feel relaxed yet elevated. Although our stay was short, the impression it left will stay with us for a long time. Thank you to the entire team at The Oberoi, Marrakech, for creating such a memorable celebration. We will most certainly be returning.

We had a great time here - the food was excellent. Sumit (the head chef) was excellent, and his service team did a great job. Would highly recommend visiting Mizmit for the food, and to the see hotel.
