The Best Place to stay In Marrakesh

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed In Riad Kinza July of 2024. The Hotel was fabulous, luxurious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was elaborate, the staff were so friendly and accommodated our every whim. Massage great, but bthe best part is it's in the Medina so it feels so it was ideal, cozy quiet but close by to all the action once you step out of the oasis.Thank you Riad Kinza

Perfect for 4 night stay in medina.

Traditional Riad within 30 mins walk of centre with amazing streets and shops all around it. Owner very friendly, management team and staff were outstanding. Big luxury room and bed and bathroom. Nice shower etc very clean and tidy with lots of lovely attention to detail. Good amazing and lovely rooftop for ample tasty breakfast and for pm drinks to watch sunset. This was the perfect choice and highly recommended. We wouldn’t go anywhere else if visiting again.

Excellent staff

Made booking through Booking.com. Communication not good. Took 24/48 hours to get a response and on one occasion no reply. Booked taxi with hotel and when we arrived at airport it wasn’t there. We waited 15 mins and booked at the taxi station. Here you can pay by card. Hotel’s taxi was cash only but same price. Arrived at hotel. We were told someone else had our booked taxi and we had no apology. Friendly welcome however it was over an hour before we were properly checked in. We were left until we asked to go and have lunch as our room wasn’t ready. We were briefly shown around some of the riad. Our room was very clean. It was cleaned twice a day. Perfect. We weren’t shown anything in the room ie safe, air con, phone or how to contact reception. I had to ask about arrangements for breakfast. This has to be ordered 20 mins before you require it. Even though I ordered 20 mins before as requested, it took 40 minutes on one occasion. Beautiful terrace. No information given about ordering food or drink. However you can order coffee/tea/wine when you want at very reasonable price. Everywhere is so clean. Floors washed daily. There’s an inside pool which looks nice. It’s very cold so beware. You can book a massage or hamman. They just need 24 hours notice. The riad is in the medina and is typical Moroccan property. The area was reasonably clean and felt very safe. Charging of phones/tablets etc only works when lights are on this not overnight. There are bathroom toiletries apart from conditioner. Everything is quite tired looking. The hairdryer is tiny but surprisingly powerful. Air con is good thankfully. Turndown excellent Staff amazingly helpful. Nothing too much trouble. They gave me excellent restaurant recommendations. Riad booked a city tour for us which was very good and reasonably priced.

Riad Kniza is the best!!

The nicest Riad in our whole trip! The building was magnificent and beautifully decorated. Everyone was exceedingly nice and helpful. There was music every night and one night an orange blossom distillation. We enjoyed breakfast on rooftop and had dinner which was excellent!

A traditional Moroccan experience staying in this luxurious Riad . The rooms were tranquil and we have left feeling very peaceful and well rested . The staff were professional, welcoming and helpful. The owner Mohammed has created a museum which he is happy to personally guide you around . We hope to return asap

We visited Marrakesh in September and stayed at the Riad Kniza, a recently renovated boutique hotel in the Medina with gorgeous examples of Moroccan architecture. Our two-story suite was furnished with exquisite antiques and beautiful Moroccan rugs. The staff at this family-owned and run establishment was attentive and caring. Our stay was characterized by an attention to detail that made our first visit to Morocco a memorable one and assured a return visit.

The Medina of Marrakesh is possibly the most alive place I have ever been (New York is a quiet garden compared to it). But the Riad Kniza and the great family that regents it is a wonderful oasis of peace, kindness and Moroccan style luxury. Their vocation to service was incredible! Go there, enjoy the red city and relax. I will come back.

Riad Kniza is a truly beautiful place in a fascinating city. The wonderful, personal service is second to none. The best stay we've ever had in Marrakech, and we've been many times. Absolutely first class in every sense.
