InterContinental Marseille - Hotel Dieu is perfectly located overlooking the Vieux Port, adjacent to the oldest district in Marseille, known as the Panier. The hotel is housed in a listed historical monument dating back to the 18th century and features a spectacular terrace, where you can relax while admiring the Vieux Port. Nearby the Calanques must be seen.

Upholds the Intercontinental standard. Fab location next to the 'Vieux Port', great views from the terrace and some rooms, obliging staff, quality decor & fitments throughout. The 'budget' rooms are not 'wow' or particularly spacious but are comfortable and well appointed. Worthwhile to indulge yourself and have breakfast on the terrace. The stay comes with a price tag but, at the end of the day, you get what you pay for!

An exquisite and friendly hotel with excellent staff, fine cuisine and a central location. They go out of their way to enhance your stay.

Amazing experience, again, at the Hotel Dieu thanks to the great dedicated team working hard to make every moment unforgettable and delightful. The amenities are probably the best in town, the service is top notch and enjoying the spectacular view on the harbour and Notre Dame de la Garde is a stunning experience. The spa is very special as well with great team form Clarins. And let’s just not forget the valets parking guys who are super nice, welcoming and extremely efficient.

One of the most beautiful and well decorated Intercontinental hotels in France. Lobby, rooms and the deck area truly beautiful, 5 star all the way. Rooms very nicely decorated with modern furniture, beds amazing and very comfortable. Location, the best in town, close to the old town (Panier) and the old port within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. Staff amazing from check in, the terrace, and the concierge, really appreciate specially Diana and Fabio, merci beaucoup. Breakfast was outstanding on the amazing deck of the hotel with breathtaking views. Service at breakfast can be better, at times not enough staff. Indoor Pool is amazing especially during the hot summer.

I waited in the lobby for two hours. The front desk staff told me to wait a moment, but when I asked a second time, they said the room wasn’t ready and they couldn’t give us the key. The third time I asked, they said the bathroom was broken. In the end, there was no compensation and they wasted two hours of my time without even offering an apology. The staff were also very impatient. This hotel is not only expensive but also terrible.
