InterContinental Marseille - Hotel Dieu

A world class hotel with an amazing, friendly and attentive staff. Located halfway between Le Panier and Old Port with easy access to both, it offers the best view of Marseille. The building and its grounds are attractive and impressive with active common spaces that are inviting. Rooms are quiet and clean. prices are lower than one would expect at a hotel of this caliber, ancillary prices are high but the hotel offers all of the quality amenities expected. Spa and pool are very nice. Overall a good value. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful facility located in Marsaille’s colorful Panier District overlooking the harbor. Rooms were spacious and clean with lovely individual balconies overlooking the hotel courtyard and the harbor. Nice breakfast on the patio with a wonderful crepe station. Food was nice. Room was spotless and carefully attended to. Breakfast area always opened late and my only complaint was getting coffee at breakfast. They go around and pour coffee and take orders for specialty coffees. It was nearly impossible to get the attention of service personnel and even worse if you wanted a second cup. Other than that a great place to stay! Pretty expensive!

They look like those of a 3-star airport hotel: poor taste, ugly sofa and bed, cheap plastic lamps, fake wood, etc House cleaning needs supervision. A dirt spot on our toilet was not cleaned for two days We are Marriott’s titanium members and stay frequently in 5-star hotels around the world

This had to be the best hotel in Marseille. Its location overlooking the harbour and being adjacent to the Old Town is impossible to beat. The hotel itself truly lives up to its 5 star status in every way. Our weekend stay could not have been better!

Juliette from Guest Relations responded promptly to the issue we encountered during our stay and took immediate action to resolve it. Her high level of professionalism truly stood out. We will certainly recommend this hotel to other guests, and it's easy to see why it's regarded as a top five-star property—especially with team members like Juliette.
