A lovely Hotel
Carton House is a magnificent hotel in the Carton Estate. It was once owned by Lord Brocket not the current Charlie but his father. He rented Carton House to Prince Rainier and Grace Kell during a visit to Ireland in the 60’s. You can walk from the start of the town along Carton Way to the estate. A great restaurant in the hotel with exceptional food. Worth a visit.

Amazing!!!
We have had the most fantastic experience at Carton house. A special mention to Ann, Liam, Abraham, the concierge who's name I didn't get for their 5 star service and friendless towards us. We loved the staff, the food, the decor, the cleanliness of the hotel. Everything was amazing. Our new No 1 hotel in Ireland. We will be back. Thank you so much everyone. Catherine X

Stunning House
Incredibly beautiful main house. Stayed in garden wing rooms which are basic enough, shower very small and old. But overall very nice staff and food excellent.

Hotel rooms need some major love
The property and outside of the hotel is gorgeous. The staff is really nice and the food is amazing. The hotel rooms are much to be desired and ruin the experience. The new wing looks like a Hilton at an airport city. The old wing could have been renovated the right way to make the rooms absolutely stunning, sadly they did it cheaply and the rooms look like they threw paint on them and didn’t even come back for touch ups. It was really sad because it’s such a historic property and it should have been brought back to life like what they did at Adare.

Great service in a stunning property
This is such a stunning property. Very well preserved house with aoden hotel facilities.. spacious rooms and absolutely lovely and very well maintained grounds. Highly recommend joining Brian on a history tour of th house. Just makes the stay that kuch more special. I don't play gold (but clearly the golf here was popular) but there are so many scenic walkin trails here!
