Our room was beautiful, as were the lodge and the views. The spa, observatory, guided hunting, pond fishing, ropes course and kids club, as well as the special Easter events, were tremendous hits with the whole family (including 2 children aged 8 and 11). We were never bored but had plenty of relaxation time as well, spent in the suite or by the pool (it is an indoor pool, but the doors all open, giving it a very indoor/outdoor feel). The property is massive so it takes some time to move from the lodge to activities, but there is a fleet of shuttles and great drivers working constantly to transport guests from place to place. One tip is that given the size of the property, and its relatively remote location, you will be reliant on what they offer in terms of food, beverages, sundries, etc. if possible, I would suggest stopping and grabbing some easy snacks to have handy (granola bars, etc.) for a quick bite. To that end, I would note that our room had a small refrigerator with complimentary soft drinks and space to keep leftovers, but did not have a microwave.

We had a very lovely 3 night stay at Primland, traveling with 2 adults and 1 child. We had to change our original reservation at the last minute due to the death of one of our family members who was supposed to be traveling with us, and the reservations team and pre-arrival team were great at assisting with our changes and one room cancellation at no charge given the circumstances. The team on site were all incredibly kind and helpful and it was a peaceful setting to try to rest and relax after a difficult week.

Our visit to Primland was wonderful! From the hot apple cider (with or without moonshine) upon arrival, the valet service (luggage and everything taken care of without asking), the beautiful living room with three story windows and two large fireplaces burning with fresh wood all day, the nature walk and talk with a guide, yoga in the observatory, awesome hiking trails to the large guest rooms with all the amenities and comforts, the stay was a true pleasure. Our vegan diets were perfectly accommodated. There were nice perks included with our stay which were surprising gifts. I could say more but people should try it for themselves.

Kinda felt like monetization over experience. We stayed for five nights without realizing the food options were limited, which required us to leave the resort just to get some variety. The service was great overall, but there were several minor issues—like waiting nearly an hour for coffee cups after calling, and a room service order that arrived with half the club sandwich missing. The food tasted great, but room service execution definitely had some challenges.
