Our family of 4 had an exceptional first visit to the Primland Resort. While traveling with two boys ages 4 and 2 will always be an extra challenge, the resort did an incredible job of making the stay as comfortable and adventurous as possible. We live 5.5 hours away and the drive was very manageable. We plan on returning annually as a family. We enjoyed the horse petting, pond fishing, pool, two different hiking paths, and the game room on many occasions. We were allowed to use the theater one evening which was wonderful. A team member made sure that we were able to access Netflix to select something we felt appropriate for our kids. We also enjoyed the stargazing during our first evening at the lodge. The views, the ambiance, the restaurants and the food/drinks, it was all wonderful. Truly a 10/10 experience!

Fantastic views, great accommodations, and fun activities! Primland is a great place to visit! Criticisms: food isn't the best, service isn't the best. Wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and it was communicated to them before our arrival. If you go to celebrate a special occasion like that, expect some congratulations, but that's about it. Overall it is very good, but if you are looking for the 5-star customer service experience, we did not see it here.

Beautiful resort nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We enjoyed hiking, stargazing, horseback riding, and s'mores!

Very nice resort but should expect that it is very rural, 40 minutes from nearest town. Even though it is dog friendly, there is only one restaurant in limited areas to walking around, especially if it is a small dog. Probably better for larger dogs. It is very beautiful, but don’t expect any action. At night it is quiet and dark. The property the past the roads everything is very beautiful, beautiful and scenic and many outdoor things to do.

We rented the Hawk Eye residence with 5 other couples to celebrate my wife's birthday. Accommodations, the service, the food and amenities were all 5 star!! Makayla greeted us at the house when we arrived and made sure our every need was accommodated. Highly recommend!
