Our group enjoyed a wonderful experience while onsite at the Primland in spite of some cool and rainy weather during our stay. The property and surroundings are beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always seeking to know how they could help. Highly recommend the guided fly-fishing experience and the ATV nature tour.

We had an incredible stay at Primland a few weeks ago! Three nights was the perfect getaway for us. We stayed in a Pinnacle King Room and loved the space (especially the porch). One thing to note, there is a ton of construction happening between the Lodge and the Pinnacle Cottages (as of April 2026 and is expected to continue until 2027). While it wasn't awful, we did have an unexpected view of bulldozers and excavators (in addition to the mountains) from our porch. We enjoyed daily hikes (the maps from the concierge were very helpful), massages, and ATV Tour. Dinner at Leatherflower was a highlight...Stables Saloon was very fun...and breakfast daily at Leatherflower was delicious (MUST get the ricotta french toast!) Our drinks from the Laurel Bar were delicious, but they appeared very understaffed. We had to walk in multiple times to ask for drinks, ask to order food, etc. While everything was tasty, the service was slow (could easily use another 2 servers/bartenders in that space). Also to note, Primland is very remote - if you want to have snacks, drinks, etc in your room (and don't want to pay $$$ prices for "mini bar"), bring it with you. There are no grocery stores or convenience stores within 30-40 minutes of the Lodge. We hope to return to Primland again!

Amazing time in Primland, as usual! Hospitality is one-of-a-kind. Activities and dining are impeccable. Very unique place to visit and we will continue to visit for years to come, as we have been doing.

Primland is an amazing place. The experiences are all fun and high quality and the staff very welcoming. We fished, hunted, shot clays, and golfed in a four-day getaway.

Just back from a four-night stay at Primland with our kids (6 and 8) - and it exceeded expectations. This place quietly works extremely well for families. Highlights: • Indoor pool open to kids 24 hours = huge win • Fairway Cabin: spacious, comfortable, ideal for a family • Hiking trails: beautiful, easy, and actually kid-friendly • Stables dinner: standout meal + atmosphere • Game room at the Stables: exceptionally well done What really stood out was the staff. Warm across the board, with special thanks to Isaac (ropes course) and Autumn (Stables), who went out of their way to engage and teach our kids. Big picture: Primland feels underrated as a family destination (at least with families from Charlotte) - but likely not for long, especially with more dining and outdoor pools coming. Two quick notes: • Concierge is tucked away, and the front desk won’t assist, just redirects. Not ideal if you plan on the fly like I do. Maybe this is temporary. • Observatory is allegedly incredible, but not accessible for younger kids. A short pre-session intro for families would be a great add. Overall: we’d absolutely return. Luxury, outdoors, and kid-friendly without feeling like a kid resort.
