Lovely staycation with the fam to celebrate my birthday. I had a 2 bedroom tower suite booked, and was upgraded to the 2 bedroom villa! So very grateful. The villa was gorgeous, spacious, and had an amazing view. Having private lifts just for the Villa guests was just amazing. The best perk of staying at the Villa for us was that we could actually order food from some of the best restaurants at the Crown, the have the food delivered to the room by your own Butler. Thomas, our butler for the stay was lovely and although we did not really require much from him, having him organise food delivery from Nobu for when we got home from attending NGV Friday night was so helpful. Plates and cutlery were already laid out on our beautiful dining table when we got back. I have stayed at the suites before, but the Villa is a next level luxury. We also ordered room service and the quality was great. Crystal club lounge was also a nice additional perk (would have had an access without the upgrade). Somewhat limited in a variety of food, and I personally preferred the style where evening canapes - both cold and hot - were self serve/buffet style. Instead, hot canapes were served straight from the kitchen. Afternoon tea was lovely but again, set afternoon tea was served straight from the kitchen. I have encountered this shift from self serve buffet to table service at other hotel's club lounge as well. Still enjoyed the food and the experience. Personal preference would be self serve buffet style. I think because that usually meant more variety/choices, and I liked being able to choose just what I wanted. Evening cocktails offered at the lounge were great!! All the staff at the Crystal club lounge were excellent. Professional and efficient. Friendly without being intrusive. Amazing service. I also really appreciated a birthday cake plate and staff singing happy birthday for me at the lounge. Overall, amazing staycation where i could spend quality time with my family on my special day. Thank you for the lovely time.

We spent a couple of nights here whilst attending a concert at Palms. Hotel lobby is huge and very beautiful. Fast and friendly check in. Our room was large- a Deluxe King. Very well appointed with super comfortable bed and I loved the window seat with a fantastic view of Southbank. A big benefit is the numerous restaurants, bars and shops on site, entertainment venues, and if gaming is your thing the Casino. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to a return visit.

Visited Crown Towers for catch up. Upon arrival wanted to make a coffee. Checking the machine found that it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. Also the amenities had not been replenished as well as one packet of cotton pad and cotton bud was open and not replaced or thrown away. Body wash in shower was completely empty. Barely any tea bags. When using hotel ipad to book the Conservatory Restaurant I was filling in the reservation form and noticed that they had my credit card from 2 years previously. When questioning this with the restaurant they said it was the hotel's responsibility and they would get back me. Didn't happen that evening so I dropped by reception desk at 7.3oam the next day said they would chase it up. NO answer so night before check out they still did not have an answer so asked for the manager. Apparently by default the program keeps information and its up to me to contact the company myself to have it removed from its database. For a five star hotel its a poor three or at best 4 for service and value for money. Staff were very lack lustre. I have stay at the Soffitel on Collin Street, Grand Hyatt much better for service and position to the city. Restaurants overpriced for what they I enjoyed McDonalds across the road more than their restaurants. Crown is more about the Casino.

Brilliant hotel - great breakfast, gym & pool. Particularly helpful concierge who arranged electric wheelchair. Only downside is that Wi-Fi kept dropping out.
