Grand Hyatt Melbourne

This was my second visit. First stay was a nicer room, bigger and felt more 'fancy'. This time just felt like a basic hotel room. I did feel disappointed in the room for the cost. Except the bathroom, that was beautiful and boutique. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE a 10/10!!! I would go again just for the buffet breakfast.

I had a great stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. The location on Collins Street is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city with easy access to shopping, restaurants, theaters, and the Yarra River. It’s the perfect base for exploring Melbourne. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with a great bed and excellent city views. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was modern and well stocked with quality amenities. Staff were friendly, professional, and efficient from check-in to check-out. The gym and indoor pool are standout features—easily among the best hotel fitness facilities I’ve experienced. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Melbourne delivers a true five-star experience with comfort, service, and an outstanding location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

It’s a great hotel. Location, staff, fast checking/out, good concierge and valet. Although hotel is getting a bit old the pluses make up for it.

If you want a 5star hotel then don't stay here. Pool closed at 8pm, dirty glasses, stains on the bed head, smells coming out of the drain to make you sick, noise in halls to keep you awake all night. Don't waste your money

My wife and I are fortunate enough to have travelled a lot. Can honestly say if we come back to Melbourne we are booking this hotel, it is such great value. Brilliant location near great restaurants and the sporting venues of the cities. Breakfast was superb, we stayed on the 26th floor and the views excellent. The rooms spacious, with a great shower and comfortable bed, it has a seating area. The service was exemplary through our 8 night stay. My one very small even better if would have been more channels on the TV (we had more in our hotel in Adelaide), but frankly you should not be spending to much time watching TV with so much to do in Melbourne.
