Grand Hyatt Melbourne

Room was dark and noisy from the old water pipping system. Bed was very old and sagging in the centre. Front desk was not communicating with other shift and we were left alot of confusion waiting at the lobby while switching rooms

Room was not clean and looked old. When I moved my bed (my bed was with wheels so easily moveable) I saw a used tissue paper. An insect was also flying at one side of my bed. When I checked in, some construction work was even doing one floor above me. Drilling sound was clearly heard though it didn’t last long, but it did last for a couple seconds, stopped for seconds, and restarted again. It lasted for maybe within a minute or two.

Customer service was honestly a complete mess. I still have not received a formal invoice, despite being told last week that it would be sent “within an hour.” On top of that, my senior colleague was mistakenly kicked out of his hotel room because reception somehow thought he was staying for one night instead of two. And the best part — I booked and prepaid $240 for a chauffeur from the hotel to the airport, reconfirmed it the day before, and then it simply never showed up in the morning. At this point, it has gone beyond frustrating and is almost becoming comical.

Like the central location, room and facility, front door service, close to food vendors. I had a room that looked out to the river. Quiet in the evening. Loved the coffee machine in the room.

We loved our stay at GHH, customer service was great and the restaurant staff was great with children :-) It's placed within a walking distance to the CBD of Melbourne which makes it great location for business, visiting, sports at MCG etc.
