Reviews for Grand Hyatt Melbourne
Good but some issues
On the plus side we were warmly welcomed by Madi. The king size bed was very comfortable, and very happy with room amenities including full bath. Negatives were: very thin walls. Someone next door took a shower at 3am and it was very noisy. Also loud yelling in the corridor overnight. I was very disappointed that services were mistakenly charged to my room that weren't mine. Front desk apologised for the mistake. Also, we exited the lift at the top of the escalator where a private function was starting. TWO security guards were extremely rude and moved us on. Very disappointing.

Perfect stay in the heart of Melbourne
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Melbourne. Walking distance to all main areas of the central business district, as well as surrounding parks, gardens, and the arts and entertainment district, and main sporting arenas. On the famous Melbourne tram grid. Excellent breakfast - wish I'd had time for more!

Home away from home
Another amazing family stay. This is like our home when we come to Melbourne. Our rooms were on the 18th floor this time, the river view is still amazing from this floor, the beds are super comfy and the rooms are spacious. The staff were all amazing on arrival and through out our stay, they are always happy to help. We are always excited to see Jimmy, from the moment we step out of the car on arrival, he makes our day with his big welcome smile. He also keeps us up to date daily on things happening in Melbourne, places to see and great places to eat. We highly recommend having a chat with him. The buffet breakfast is the only way to start the day when staying at the Grand Hyatt there is so much variety you just don't know where to start, and those freshly baked cookies they bring to the tables are delicious. We will definitely see you again soon

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The staff was exceptional and the food was very delicious- especially the buffet breakfast.

Average
The rooms are average. Ok for most people but if you are looking for high quality rooms you won't get that here. The rooms have an old musk smell so we decided to check out and go to another hotel.
