Lovely stay
The Langham Melbourne is a little bit like stepping back in time. Its mostly a lovely experience. The rooms have everything you need and its delightful to see things that many hotels have removed now like proper minibars, sturdy hairdryers and separate showers and baths. The beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of free water bottles. As a solo traveller i found plenty of space to put my case and belongings. The decor is a bit old worldy but the facilities and location of the hotel more than make up for it. The only comment I would make is that the F and B staff take a very long time to serve you. We found this on several occasions in several outlets. Be prepared to wait for everything. Check in and front desk was the exception and Nicholas in this area was especially cordial.

Great location for a perfect Melbourne stay
We really like the Langham in Melbourne its very well positioned close to CBD and the train stain and right on the river . Rooms are getting tired but they are a decent size and very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful overlooking the Yarra river .

A wonderful hotel in a perfect location
Our room was lovely, the breakfasts were amazing and the service from everyone was always impeccable and friendly. We ate dinner one night in the Melba restaurant and thought the buffet was excellent. The concierge service in particular was very good indeed. The hotel is in a perfect location, central and convenient for everything.

Old world charm and luxury that a modern hotel can't compete with. Spectacular city and river views. I didn't want to leave.

Melbourne is a beautiful, classy, safe, clean city. The Langham sits right on the river and offers the best view of the entire city. It is old school elegant and classy, simple yet elegant. Staff is excellent. Perfect location. Stay here..
