Always made to feel like a super star. Everyone who works here made us feel welcomed. The bed is super comfortable. The spa facilities are clean and my only point to mention would be to keep the lovely water tumblers available topped up as they were popular and our English breakfast tea bags were not replaced in our room. This hotel is a favorite of ours and we always feel like we really treated ourselves.

The location was excellent, and each day upon returning to the hotel, I was greeted with outstanding service. Upon entering the hotel, the first impression is visually stunning. The beautiful lobby and floral displays are truly admirable and create an elegant atmosphere. However, while the sense of sight is immediately engaged, the sense of smell is not. Being welcomed by a distinctive fragrance when entering a hotel can significantly enhance the guest experience and create lasting memories of a stay. This was something I felt was missing at The Langham. I would suggest that The Langham consider developing a signature scent for both the lobby and guest rooms. A memorable fragrance could further elevate the overall guest experience and leave a lasting impression on visitors.

Breakfast was amazing. Luke, one of the porters, was exceptionally helpful and informative. Rooms were comfortable, though TV remotes were hard to work out.

This hotel has a lot going for it. It has a great location and great views of the city skyline, some great staff, including the concierge team who helped me out a lot with dinner and activity recommendations prior to my arrival, and a great well stocked gym. That said, I had a bad feeling when I walked in and after one night checked out and moved to another hotel. The main reason is that the hotel and its facilities are incredible dated. Like seriously, you'll see the pictures, but all the furniture in the room was worn and cheap feeling. I will say that I slept well. Carpeting throughout was a time warp. It felt like I was in a hotel that was at its prime in the 90s. The much vaunted breakfast at Melba was not great. Huge line to get in, overwhelmed staff, and took 20 minutes from when I sat down to receiving my first coffee. Since I had paid for club access I had hoped and assumed they would have breakfast, but not on fussy apparently. Maybe I just had an off experience, but the dated decor just didn't do it. Staff were accommodating and friendly and waived my fees when I left. Overall, great location but this hotel needs a full refresh yo be competitive.
