Sofitel Melbourne On Collins

I stayed for three nights while in Melbourne for a conference and really enjoyed my stay. I was fortunate enough to receive an upgrade to a much larger suite, and it was fantastic. The room was incredibly spacious, with separate dining and living areas, a good-sized bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I also had great views over the park and towards the MCG. The hotel delivered exactly the kind of experience I expect from Sofitel. It felt luxurious throughout and made for a very comfortable place to come back to after a day at the conference. One of the highlights was breakfast in the Club Lounge. It was a real treat, particularly having a great menu with dishes available to order. I didn't get the opportunity to try the evening canapés, unfortunately, so I'll have to save that for another stay. The location was another big plus. There are plenty of coffee shops nearby, along with lots of convenient options for a quick meal around the ground floor. Overall, a fantastic stay. Spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, great views, excellent breakfast and a very convenient location. I'd definitely stay again.

A perfect stay in the heart of Melbourne - Sofitel Melbourne on Collins - Room 4506 We stayed in room 4506 and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The hotel is wonderful: modern but at the same time comfortable and classic. You can see the Sofitel brand's attention to detail everywhere. The room is spacious, bright, with a stunning city view. What impressed us most was how quiet it was: perfect soundproofing despite the central location. Individually adjustable temperature, very comfortable bed. Complete amenities with coffee machine, kettle, bathrobes. Marble bathroom, not newly renovated but of high quality and very well maintained, with a bathtub with a glass shower screen and Byredo bath products - a lovely touch. The service is truly 5-star plus. Cordial, helpful and highly professional staff, from reception to the restaurant. A small but appreciated detail: umbrellas available for guests at reception. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is the highlight of the hotel. Products of the highest quality. The croissant and brioche counter perfectly reflects the French style of the brand, plus fresh fruit, fresh juices and a wide à la carte menu with different egg preparations and other hot options. A special thank you to Alfie, our waiter at breakfast: attentive, kind and highly professional. Finally, as we had a night flight, we greatly appreciated the kind possibility of using the gym's changing rooms and showers for a refresh and change of clothes before departure - an invaluable service. Highly recommended for CENTRALITY and QUALITY. A guarantee. We will definitely be back.

Bonjour Sofitel Melbourne My wife and I stayed from 27 August to 1 September to celebrate my 59th birthday. We were so happy to be back after 40th years : ) We enjoyed every moment at sofitel. The environment, room, restaurants and people’s were amazing. During our stayed we were well taking good care by the team. Chosen Sofitel to celebrate my birthday was a perfect choice. Had, 3 nights that were booked last year when we found that Neil Diamond the musical was playing 2 blocks away at the Princess Theatre. Great show. Upgraded to Celestial Suite on 50th Floor which was much appreciated, beautiful room except for the bathroom which must have been an afterthought. Difficult to fill the bath, shower head very small and need to be double jointed to reach the toilet paper. Had lunch at the Atrium Bar, very nice and thanks to Zennon for his great service and help also thanks to Ana Paula in Club Sofitel for her attention to us and always happy smiling face. The hotel has become a favorite of ours and back October long weekend to celebrate our anniversary.
