Gym above 15th Floor
Asked for top floor, I was given a King Suite on 15th Floor. Nice and organised and adequate. Then came time for bed and sleep, couldnt get to do that because someone decides to go to the gym and run on a treadmill above my room until midnight. I rang reception several times to no avail. Managed to dose off, then got woken up again at 330am by the same treadmill, the noise was terrible. I complained on checkout, thought maybe a credit or part refund but all I got was "I'm sorry about that sir, maybe next time book on the other side"

Good overall
Good location for our weekend getaway. All the things we wanted to do were in easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean and well maintained.

Good location but not the best experience
The location was fantastic but I was disappointed in the value. It was said to be a “5 star hotel” but the rooms were quite old and felt run-down. The check-in took almost 25 minutes and was incredibly slow. I had to call down and eventually go down to the front desk for a few issues. For the price I would’ve expected better value.

Good location but tired looking
Good location and size of rooms but the hotel is definitely tired and could do with a refurb. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice with a good selection.

Five stars plus
My wife and I had two fantastic nights at the Stamford.The staff at Harry’s bar were excellent and very courteous.Nothing was a problem.Cheers.
