Stamford Plaza Melbourne

Very basic, old and dated, limited Room Service only until 9:30pm, Breakfast was bang average for a Stamford hotel, Best Western Standard type food

Great location, friendly and helpful staff plus good eco housekeeping policy with hotel credit. Rooftop pool and facilities good too. Only improvement could be better food in bar.

We had the penthouse suit.It was such a disappointment for the amount of money that we spent we stayed for four days there was no complimentary bottle of water that most hotels give you the penthouse is dated and falling apart .The state of our skirting board in our bedroom was rotting and falling off the wall.But the biggest disappointment was how tight they are .We were supposed to get a complimentary bottle of champagne and a few savory snacks as apart of our deal .Well they wer"nt going to give us that because they said the deal had finished then why advertisers it still as a deal.But luckily for a sweet guy called william he got the champagne for us he also got the sumasa . They only gave us 3 but there was four of us he tried to get some more but the chef wasn't budging . Also the buffet breakfast was enjoyable but the orange juice is watered down . would I stay there again not a chance.and p.s they need to learn how to make a cuppachinno 😊

Hotel is fine, room was clean and tidy. Front desk polite and efficient. Stay away from the bar and restaurant. Meals not correct and very average. Had a clearly intoxicated person enter bar and attempt to take bags from our table. No security present to deter them and bar staff kept going missing.

Very good location! Room was large and comfortable, altough not luxurious. Bed was good. Breaktfast is really good, with manual eggs and decent variety. I stayed at 12th floor so no problem with noise. Very good that the hotel provides free self-laundy service.
