Fantastic value for money
Great value for money. Fantastic location. Everything was in walking distance. The staff couldn't have ben more helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Sparkle gone
Lost it's sparkle I don't see it as 5 star maybe a good 4 star. I wasn't happy with house keeping or watching the female chef sneezing and playing on her phone at the omelette station ignoring customers. Housekeeping didn't do up my room even when requested. Rooms are starting to get old and need a face lift. Better 5 star hotels in the city to chose from

A great hotel in a great location.
I can highly recommend the Stamford Plaza if you're looking for a great hotel in an excellent location within the CBD of Melbourne. Everything is within easy walking distance with a nearby car park at reasonable rates. The hotel itself is wonderfully maintained and it was extremely clean. Our room was very spacious with the most comfortable bed and sofa. Haveing a desk, coffee table and dedicated dining table were an added bonus. The kitchenette was very handy with a good sized mini fridge and all the facilities that you would need. The linen was of the highest quality there is a very spacious bathroom. My wife and I dined in room on two nights and the meal was exceptionalas was the buffet breakfast within Harry's downstairs. We loved this hotel so much, we have booked another two night stay in 4 weeks time.

Outstanding visit, very happy with experience.
Outstanding service by staff, so very helpful and friendly. Room was beautiful and kept immaculate by housekeeping staff. In room service was very good and the menu was excellent. Check out was seamless, and staff organized a taxi for me in a prompt and timely manner. A wonderful stay, top value for money, and I will be going back.
