Honey is very warm, courteous and professional when we checked in. She is meticulous and brief us thru details.We feel welcomed and well taken care of from beginning to the end. During our stay, David’s transportation knowledge is fantastic. He is able to guide us to which street to go and catch which bus or train. Both Honey and David attentiveness and willingness to assist made a positive impression on us and contributed to a pleasant hotel experience. I would also like to commend F&B Manager for the outstanding service and professionalism demonstrated. His thoughtful approach and commitment to ensuring guests have a positive experience reflect great credit on both themselves and the hotel. It is always a pleasure to encounter staff who go beyond simply fulfilling their duties and genuinely care about their guests. Employees like these make a meaningful difference and are a wonderful asset to your hotel. I super loved the room. They have separate area and makes me feel like I’m in Paris.. really love the vintage layout.

Very disappointing stay at the Stamford Hotel. My husband and I stayed for two nights, and unfortunately, we experienced issues with the hot water. One night there was no hot water at all, and the other night the water fluctuated from hot to cold. When you pay for a hotel stay, you expect basic facilities to work properly, especially at a hotel of this standard. This issue significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. We expected much better and feel the inconvenience was unacceptable. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and ofters appropriate compensation. Sadly, our experience did not live up to the standard we expected, and it has left us very disappointed. We understand that problems can happen, but how a hotel handles those problems says a lot about its commitment to its guests. Unfortunately, the lack of hot water combined with the lack of response from management has left us very disappointed. We expected much better from the Stamford. Leanne.

Our stay at the Stamford was quite enjoyable. Cameron, a staff member, checked us in and out and proved helpful on both occasions. The room offered comfort, and the location was favourable.

We got a great deal after the AFL Grand Final, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite for under $700 for 2 nights can't be beat! The hotel is in a great location, on the free tram route so easy to connect along Collins St from Southern Cross station. The hotel is old, and the rooms are quite old fashioned. Our room was quite dark, but our suite was super spacious, great for 2 couples to share, and plenty spacious for 2 people sharing. Buffet breakfast is a pretty good deal $25 pp if you book the day before, nothing spectacular, just a standard buffet.
