Decent hotel

Decent hotel. Traveling for work and selected this hotel based on its location relative to my work place. No complaints.

Comfort and space for a restful visit.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Had a one bedroom suite booked due to a work trip. The room had the most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept in. As it was a work trip I didn't spend a lot of time in the room, however loved the comfort and the space for when I returned after a busy day. I do think the continental breakfast was a little overpriced. I had a bowl of cereal and a couple of pieces of fruit with coffee and that was $28.

disappointing experience at this hotel

I booked this hotel through Qantas holidays. I was alone & trapped in bathroom/toilet as sliding door when closed doesn't open. I was on a walking stick in a room for disabled. There was no emergency button or phone in bathroom. I finally got my toe with difficulty under door to open this door & rang reception immediately to report fault at 9.30pm. A porter came up & couldn't open door & got on knees to open from outside. I wedged a towel so as it would stay open until a maintenance man attended following day. When the door closed it would 'lock'. There was no clip on the door catch to open. Maintenance men put a handle on inside & outside door sometime during following day so it could be opened. I could have been trapped there for 2 days as I had 'do not disturb' on door. Also air-condition was on 20.C & freezing. I told the said porter who adjusted but it reverted back to 20oC. I was freezing the entire time in my room. My friend in Melbourne visited my room & she couldn't open door (nor could porter) so for hotel to blame my fingernails on door (there wasn't a handle) is terrible. Hotel have said the A/C was fixed as was door & they said guests were given complimentary drink vouchers. I was alone & received one (1) gift voucher for one drink/house wine $8. I could not recommend this hotel.

Easy place to find, central to shop, restaurants etc. Free trams to just about everywhere. Great breakfast buffet which kept us going all day. Nice relaxing spa and pool in the evenings after a long day out and about.
