Newish hotel, great decor with on site restaurants and bar. It’s close enough to the shopping district but far enough away to miss out on the noise and hustle. Decent gym and indoor swimming pool on the top floor. Cleanliness was hit and miss, with hair on the bathroom bench when we arrived and our room service tray left outside our door, uncollected for over 24 hrs. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

The layout of the room is unusual but comfortable. We love the location of the hotel as it is in close proximity to many attractions of the city. The staff are helpful though they seem aloof at times. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Had a fantastic and enjoyable short term stay here while down in Melbourne for the Australian Open. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with everything close by which made getting around super convenient. The hotel has a modern feel throughout, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well set up with great amenities. It was the perfect place to relax after a big day at the tennis. Breakfast was a highlight with a great variety to choose from, really set up the day well. Staff were very friendly and the whole experience felt smooth and easy. Will definitely be back!

Our whole experience with this hotel was truly outstanding. Kitty at reception made checkin very easy and our Elite status was immediately recognised - the suite upgrade was much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and very varied … something not to be missed! We also had dinner in Lollo one evening - great food and great service. Check out was equally easy and help storing our bags and sorting a taxi was greatly appreciated.

I booked this hotel through the Chase Sapphire Card’s Edit program. Room benefits are similar to that of the AMEX plantinum travel program. We had a very spacious corner unit with large windows on both sides, plenty of light, and lots of room for two people. The bathroom is very spacious with a separate toilet room with its own sink and a Toto toilet. The primary bathroom area had a very spacious shower, a bathtub and two sink vanity. All toiletries as expected. The breakfast buffet was included in our rate. It was beyond ample with plenty of offerings for any type of diet. We ate at the same spot for dinner one night and received excellent service with a very good menu. Lollo is the name of the restaurant. Very good. The service at this property is exceptional on all levels. I highly recommend, especially if you’re planning to go to the AO in January. They do offer a free shuttle but the walk along the river to the venue is only about 30 minutes and quite easy.
