W Melbourne

Very unfortunately. Never again… I regularly stay at the W for work events. I have always found it convenient and as a marriot gold elite from staying at marriot hotels found booking and the accommodation more than adequate. I arrived today to find out no valet parking is available and the only available parking is 2 blocks walk away in the rain. Running late for an event - no way of going somewhere else. Got into the room and not only us the carpet dirty but smells too. Don’t have any time to do anything about it because my car is temporarily parked and I don’t have time. Do better marriot. If you have guests coming from regional areas tell them to book valet. Don’t change the system and apologise for not notifying anyone. Also - vacuum the rooms!!!

Overall we had a pleasant stay and the service was excellent. However the room was not well ventilated and there was no fan in the bathroom or toilet so there was a noticeable “toilet” smell when we first walked in. When we brought this up, they responded immediately and sent someone to spray the room however it was only a temporary fix. They offered to let us switch rooms but we opted not to. They provided us with a free late check out to compensate. I only want to bring this up so that the W consider installing a fan in the toilet or ventilate the room better. For such a beautiful hotel, it was a bit surprising but perhaps it was only our room with this issue. It would have been a perfect stay otherwise. We loved the pool - it was clean and warm and there were complimentary snacks and kick boards for the kids. Buffet breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. Despite the smell, we would definitely return for another stay.

What an awesome hotel!!! From the moment you walk in, the decor is absolutely stunning and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful in all areas. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous with stunning decor and attention to detail. The pool area beautiful, bright and well laid out with lots of table, couches and towels. I was only there for a night and wished I had bought my bathers with me…oh well next time definitely!!! There is a nice bar downstairs with some amazing cocktails and fantastic service. Now let me tell you the breakfast Buffett, wow one of the best selections of food I have seen. They cater for everyone here and the staff were so attentive, helpful and super friendly..a big shout to the gorgeous Angie whom was always came over to ensure everything was good and did we need anything else and she was funny!!! Would definitely stay here again 💖💖

The stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded all our expectations. A perfect blend of comfort and luxury - I would highly recommend this place. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Exceptional service! Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We booked 7 rooms for our family to stay, including our dog who loved his stay also.

My second stay in the last one year in this hotel. Very nice property great location and excellent staff. I think the best property to stay in Melbourne
