DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne - Flinders Street

I stayed here for 6 nights on a business trip. The hotel is in a fantastic location and the room was very comfortable. The gym is also good quality. The reason for leaving a review is to recognise Steve who served us at breakfast most days. He’s a fantastic guy and has a real gift for providing quality service. Every morning he’d welcome us by name and asked how our meetings were going - remembering details from previous days. The breakfast was also fantastic. Hilton are very lucky to have Steve on their team - please make sure his excellent service is recognised. Thank you.

This hotel is right across the road from Flinders Street Station. Rooms are modern and super clean. Staff at front desk were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Three day stay. Perfect location for ANZAC celebrations and museums. So convenient to trams, trains, and sites we wanted to see. Great variety of local food options nearby. Continental breakfast was amazing. Front desk staff helpful and knowledgeable. Linens were very nice. Choice of chilled water option that is refilled daily.

Got a super deal booking online with parking, breakfast and a possible late check out included for the same price as without any of them. Parking is about 150m down the road. No issues with coming and going. Had a station looking room which I spent far too long people watching at!! Great shower in terms of flow and temperature control but the bathroom did tend to get wet with only a small screen separating it from the rest of the room. Breakfast was great (I've had many hotel buffet breakfasts in the past 12 months and this was one of the better ones). Location is fabulous and with free public transport in April 2026, we made use of the on-the-doorstep transport options. Staff were warm and professional. I've stayed in a few hotels in Melbourne over the years and this is one that I would return to.

The Flinders Street Doubletree has become our home away from home in downtown Melbourne. The staff are superb, and treat us like royalty as Diamond members. We’ve been staying here several times a year since 2022 and have never been disappointed.
