The park hyatt is stunning, the service is excellent and the location makes for a very easy stroll to the best restaurants Melbourne has to offer. The buffet breakfast is absolutely worth it, the rooms are comfortable and the staff accommodating. Will certainly be back.

This is anything but a 5 Star hotel. It's ageing and it shows, in desperate need of an update / upgrade. Where to start? It feels grotty....a thin veneer of grime on a lot of things. Power points that don't work. A lack of charging points. A mattress that needs replacing. Pillows that give no support. Poor water pressure. A so-so breakfast offering. Rock hard, pointless couches in the room that are basically that you don't sit in, you simply sit on, no real bar to speak of, and a TV that's installed on an angle and incredibly tinny sound. Came back to our room at around 3;15pm and the room still not made up. Very poor. On the plus size, decent sized towels (hello Hilton chain, I'm looking at you!!!), nice staff, decent location near parks and easy walking distance to the sporting grounds.

It’s been a while since my last visit - pre-COVID. Following the Park Hyatt’s opening last century (1999), I have had the pleasure of many an enjoyable stay. This elegant hotel sits proudly at the top end of town. I am so very pleased to report The Park Hyatt continues to shine. Her most outstanding feature has to be the wonderful professional staff - their old-school classic, personable service is refreshing. This point of difference undoubtedly separates her from newer, flashy kids on the block. We stayed in a King deluxe view room - a lovely big room with a double spa bath, a gas wood fireplace, and a walk-in wardrobe. Housekeeping was extremely efficient, checking in throughout the day with fresh towels/coffee pods, and water. We made use of most facilities; breakfast at Radii was absolutely beautiful with a well-curated quality buffet and a large variety of made-to-order dishes available. The offer of a complimentary Bloody Mary or Bellini was a lovely inclusion. The pool/spa/steam room/sauna and 90-minute relaxation massage was blissful. We planned to play tennis on the roof, but the weather was against us. I must say I would love to see a return of the Club Lounge - it was my favourite in Melbourne. It would also be nice to see Radii open for dinner. The current dinner service in the lobby lounge seems a little strange. We did, however, stroll down to Collins Kitchen at the Grand Hyatt for a buffet dinner, which was exceptional. A big shout out to Yaz in the lobby lounge for making the very best matcha latte and stopping to have a chat. Most of all - bring back Mr Walker or one of his many friends 🐕!

As always a fantastic experience staying at the Park Hyatt. Our room was so comfortable and the pillows nearly came home with us. It was my partners birthday and room service arrived with the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten. Our stay was finished off with a wonderful breakfast.

Luxurious hotel in Melbourne CBD not far from Tram stations next to Parliament free tram zone, next to Church. Design a bit retrospective but service from Front Office, Housekeeping, In-Room Service are brilliant. Breakfast they also provide Hot Dishes at the station
