Park Hyatt Melbourne

A very nice luxury staycation place in the heart of Parliament Garden area. Everything is perfect here and wellness is the main aspect consistently maintained in all Park Hyatt hotels (awesome sauna, steam, indoor pool, hot and cold plunge). Thank you Ms Ami for efficient check in process and warm welcome, Mr Oliver Kahf and to all Park Hyatt Melbourne staffs for great services and hospitality.

Good room, good food, good service. We walked to the gardens and the city. A good experience overall, will come back for sure.

A delightful experience celebrating a special birthday with our extended family. Every part of our visit was sensational - the staff, the facilities, the food and drinks, and the location.

I recently booked 2 rooms for a quick trip based on the marketing stating it offered airport shuttle service. I called the concierge prior to our arrival and after I had the rooms booked for over a month and was then told they offered no such service. Let's just say my discussion with the floor/assistant manager was a waste of time! Meanwhile it cost my group over $200 in UBER fees in addition to the $$$/room rate. The room rates were fine when I took the fees I would save with the marketed "airport shuttle" service into account. More disappointed in the customer and lack of concern then anything.

Having returned from a 3 night stay at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne, I felt compelled to write a review. I travelled with my elderly mother and high and deserved praise to the staff who were attentive and caring and considerate of my very elderly mother. The hotel is elegant and stands the test of time. The location is ideal, set in lovely grounds, on the very perimeter of the CBD, tucked behind Parliament House and adjacent to St Patricks Cathedral. It's a short easy walk to the fabulous restaurants and cafes of Melbourne business district as well as an easy 15 minute walk to the buzz of Gertrude St Fitzroy and Smith St Collingwood. Return to the hotel provides calm oasis. Breakfast was a highlight: a bountiful buffet with a range of high quality offerings. The lobby area provides all day dining and the meal we had there was also very good. What stands out most is the wonderful service. Rooms, whilst not updated for sometime are very clean and comfortable.
