Choose Park Hyatt for your next Melbourne visit

Great location, hotel and staff. The free tram is literally 2 mins away. Next to the big cathedral, park and everything.

Dissappointed.

Booked to stay at the hotel as we were attending a function in the Park Hyatt. Not a big night, so when the function ended, at approx 10:30, we went to the Residents bar only to find it was closed - which took the edge off the night, and the whole intent of staying the night in the city and kicking back with some friends and family. Frankly would have been better getting an uber home. Which is what we'll be doing next time.

This hotel does not prioritise your needs: loud banging from staff in floor above woke us up in the night, pool closed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Incredibly loud banging from the staff in the floor above us from 9:45pm into the night, this is after upgrading to a deluxe view room, and it ruined my night's sleep. Turns out they were setting up for some corporate event, shows where the hotel's priorities are at. Also the spa personnel were 30 minutes late in the morning, so we had to wait around in order to access the pool, saunas, and get a key to the lockers (these are all inaccessible until 8am, which is a bizarre and totally inconvenient setup if you happen to be an early riser). Not at all worth the money we spent, if you're looking to be pampered with a genuine 5 star experience in Melbourne's CBD, I'd suggest the Langham or The Hilton instead. It's definitely where we'll be going for our next special occasion.

Grand Hotel Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

A classical and established hotel in a quiet park environment in Melbourne. The rooms are spacious and offer a comfortable experience. Happy to recommend for a stay in Melbourne, whether for a shopping experience or to attend the football at the MCG!

Came to relax, left exhausted.

The Park Hyatt is an amazing hotel. Location is good. A short walk into Melbourne CBD. Paid parking available on-site managed by a 3rd party. Small gym and indoor pool. The Spa is nice but not cheap as expected. Only warning is ensure you request a quite room! My wife & I came for our anniversary and left our children at home. We had a family with screaming children right across our room. Could hear a baby crying on and off from 1am to 6.30am.
