hello i had a bad experience at the hu hotel first i want to start off with the front desk very nice. next is breakfast very cold eggs Sausages tasted old coffee keep running out. Now to housekeeping the manager attitude was so nasty on the floors i ask can i have a set of towel never receive nothing manager and supervisor was walking hall on they phone being loud carpets was stained rooms half cleaned i herd they was gone renovated but nothing happen yet the hotel is just out of order u need better managers and better people but i wont be visiting again until u up grade these managers with better attitude.

Very negative cancelation experience
Had to cancel at the last minute. I have never experienced a situation where the sales manager was quite this rude when I was explaining my reason for cancellation. I will try to never book with them again. Sales manger repeatedly talked over me and made sarcastic comments. It was quite disconcerting.

Deaderick Fleming the bellman was very helpful. Upon arrival he assisted us with checking in and showing us where to park, etc. gave very thorough directions! Very polite and well spoken! He 100% needs a raise!! We will definitely come back!

Great Downtown location
Very comfortable and quiet. Everyone from the doorman to the breakfast attendant was extremely friendly always had a smile.

Good hotel in downtown Memphis
The hotel is a little dated, but we loved the retro feel of the ground floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful (reception, breaksfast etc). The external parking garage is literally across the street and the hotel's location is great, close to Beale St but far enough not to notice it. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing. When we came home we noticed a small issue with the invoice, which was quickly resolved.

We really could have not been more pleased by the people that work for the Madison (as a real team) the facilities, the food, the ambience, etc. If all of Memphis businesses had your corporate attitude, top to bottom towards its customers Memphis would be "ON FIRE"!!!! We will definitely be back again, soon!

The Madison is the benchmark for all other hotels we stay at in other cities. It is an excellent hotel and we stay there each time we're in Memphis.
