Well worth a visit

I great experience in a classic hotel. It is expensive but worth it for a Special Occasion (our 50th wedding anniversary). Staff excellent, rooms great, food and wine great, parking easy. The ducks of course, but get them REALLY early if you want a good seat for photos.

Mom and daughter trip to celebrate her 11th birthday was literally - Spectacular !!

Arriving on the overnight Amtrak from Chicago at around 6:30am, hours before standard check-in, we were bracing ourselves for a long wait. Instead, we were met with a warm “not a problem,” and told our room was already ready. It was exactly what we needed after a tiring journey, especially traveling with my preteen while we both felt completely worn out. From that very first moment, the service set the tone for an unforgettable stay, but what truly elevated our experience was Jayda. Her attention to detail, genuine warmth, and intuitive sense of hospitality were simply exceptional. She made us feel not just welcomed, but truly cared for anticipating our needs, engaging us in thoughtful conversation, and helping turn ordinary moments on the lobby couch into lasting memories. Jayda has a natural gift for service that cannot be taught, and it made all the difference in our trip. The hotel itself offers so much to enjoy. From in-room dining to a beautiful afternoon tea experience, every meal exceeded expectations. The famous Duckmaster Kenon was as delightful as we’d hoped. His duck march was a highlight, and he even gave my daughter her own ducky and cane, which absolutely made her day. We originally discovered the hotel through a travel blogger, and Kenon kindly took time to record a fun video with my daughter… another special touch we won’t forget. Until next time!!! With hugs from Chicago! Between the incredible service—especially from Jayda—the iconic experiences, and the hotel’s perfect walkable location in a safe and vibrant area, this trip was truly remarkable. Memphis itself impressed us with its rich culture, museums, and amazing food, but it was the people—especially Jayda—who made it unforgettable.

We recently had the exquisite pleasure of staying at The Peabody for two lovely days and nights (one of which was on the Honorary Duck Master package). From the moment Charles greeted us at our car and helped unload our bags to the moment we pulled away toward home, but first in search of a stop to pick up a local bourbon we had tasted in the Lobby Bar, we were treated with nothing by respect, accommodation, kindness, and genuine warmth. Of special note was our server in the Lobby Bar and the Corner Bar, Jada, our server in Capriccio, Vennie, and our lead server at Chez Phillippe, Madison. This Grand Hotel of the South did not disappoint on any level - the rooms were updated and fresh, the historic areas were beautiful and sparkling clean, the Duck March lived up to its hype, and the FOOD was to die for! If there was any fly in the ointment at all, it was the incessant, hour-long loop of horrible player piano music in the lobby day and night when a live musician was not in attendance. It really made being in the lobby unbearable after a while - I cannot imagine working under those conditions. -- That said, if that is all I have to complain about from 48 hours of luxury and being treated like a queen, The Peabody is doing pretty well. Our goal for this visit was to just enjoy BEING AT The Peabody and enjoy we did. Put it on your Bucket List and give yourself a treat! And if you can do the Ducky Day Package it is an experience not to be missed!

Short Honeymoon Stay

It was above and beyond our expectations. The company I am employed with Duvall Pool and Leak Detection reserved me and my beautiful bride a suite for the night, it was a great finish to a beautiful moment in time.

Beautiful and relaxing grand, historic hotel

This is the best-maintained historic hotel we've visited in U.S. Room was beautiful, the grand lobby area fantastic. Great place to relax and enjoy walking downtown Memphis. Staff were very nice, attached parking is a plus. Duckmaster Keenan did a fun and great job, he's also a super ambassador throughout the day. Bellman Jeffrey also stands out, but everyone was super. Sunday brunch was Fantastic and beautifully presented!! Brunch was the best "southern" friendliness in town!
