Set among Mayan ruins and sacred sites, Chablé Yucatán is a stunning luxury property set in Yucatán jungle. Unmatched service and the upmost attention to detail come together in this modern hotel with ancient hacienda architecture. Accommodations are spacious and charming with traditional Mayan architectural styles, premium amenities, floor to ceiling windows and natural elements that provide a restful retreat to all guests.

I'm not normally this level of luxury traveler, so let me start off by saying WOW, and it started even before we arrived. The team reached out early on to understand what we like, what we were interested in doing, and to make sure everything was arranged for our visit. - Level of service was fantastic. Staff was quick to respond with anything we needed and all was arranged through What's App. Easy, quick, efficient, and friendly. - The room was unlike anywhere I've stayed. Small patio and private pool with a hammock, and my favorite part, the outdoor waterfall shower. There were coffee and pastries brought each morning for when we woke up, AM cleaning, and nightly turn down. Bikes are provided at the casita to get around the sprawling grounds. There was no noise other than nature, and it made us feel like we were the only people there, in the best way possible. - Staff made arrangements for a Chocolate Experience and Mayan Cooking Experience that were both unique experiences for us. We learned some and tasted local food, both memorable experiences. We also visited the farm. - We got massages, the spa facilities are beautiful. We didn't spend much time in the spa which feels like we squandered our time there, but we liked the experience none the less. - Food at Ix'im was outstanding, would recommend at least one dinner there. Looking at all the tequila bottles is fun and it's also an interesting new use for a former hacienda building. - We at breakfast at Kiol by the pool each day. Food was fresh and we were overfed each time with beautiful fruits, breads, coffees, juices, and hot plates. Given the quality of the room, the level of service, the experiences at the compound, this felt like a fantastic value for a luxurious property. I would love to come back again.

Exceptional hotel in an old hacienda. Beautiful villas, extremely well decorated. Unfortunately we had a scorpion in our room….. Breakfast was ok, but did not match the standards of the housing Although an exceptional place, I am not of the opinion that this hotel should be rated among the 10 best in the world. It remains overpriced

I am currently on my second visit to Chablé and am enjoying it as much as my first, so I felt called to share my experience(s). First: if you’re like me, you’ve done the research, you’ve looked at the 50 best list, you’ve seen the reviews, but you still feel some hesitation. You’re thinking to yourself: “what is there to do there? There’s no beach. Is it worth it?” Let me assure you- this is not your typical Mexican resort. This is a masterclass in Mexican culture and hospitality. Is there a ton to do? Not really. Is that the point? Yes. Completely. We joke that this is our rehab from real life. Our cortisol levels plummet while we are on property. Time doesn’t exist. The beauty is unmatched. The design and architecture are unparalleled. We’ve stayed at many of the 50 best hotels over the years (more than a dozen) and this is easily in our top 3 hotels ever. The service, the aesthetic, THE FOOD (omg, the food). You start your journey by driving through an unassuming Mexican village and down an unassuming road. You’ll question whether you typed in the wrong address. You didn’t. Eventually the road will dead end into what heavens gates might look like and as you pass through said gates, the entire environment transforms instantly. Lush gardens and wildlife abundant. You’re warmly greeted by the staff and ushered to your private villa via golf cart. The villas are massive and extremely beautiful and private. You could spend a 3 day trip without leaving the villa. You have 3 modes of transport across the 640 acre property: foot, bike, and cart. The pool is expansive and oh so serene. The spa is massive and has sauna, steam, hot tub, cold plunge, showers and another pool. There’s a very well appointed gym. The restaurants are outstanding and the service is so warm. The servers get to know you and your preferences very quickly. This has become an annual trip for us, and in the 7 days we’ve spent on property across two trips, we’ve never left property. I have to admit- that’s not like us. The property is just so stunning we feel we’d be settling for less by leaving. If you’re looking for an action packed get away, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a true getaway in a true paradise where you’re left with no wants, then look no further.

I rarely write reviews, but I created this account to spare others, especially anyone with medical issues, from the same experience I endured. Before arrival, I communicated that I have an allergy to synthetic fragrance. Nevertheless, throughout my stay, I was repeatedly exposed to heavy fragrance despite constant reminders. Specifically, * My bed linens were heavily fragranced. * One of my spa treatments had to be cancelled because the therapist arrived wearing strong fragrance. I was told this would not happen again. It did, multiple times, including during the hydrotherapy circuit and a subsequent treatment. * At the restaurant, I repeatedly asked (in both English and Spanish) not to be served by a heavily fragranced waiter. This request was ignored for days and continued even in my final meal. * The driver of my pre-booked private transport to the airport arrived wearing overwhelming perfume. Because of these repeated exposures, I experienced a severe allergic reaction by the end of my stay. I spent my final evening vomiting and was unable to sit upright without dizziness despite taking significant medication. I left the property still acutely ill. This was not a one-time oversight. It was a consistent failure to honor a clearly communicated medical need after repeated assurances that it would be accommodated. Additional service issues reflected the same pattern of disregard. * I was served rancid juice at breakfast and I therefore sent it back for replacement after one sip. Far from apologizing, they charged me for the undrinkable juice on top of its replacement. * Repeated requests (in person and via written notes) regarding the type of milk to accompany my coffee were ignored. * The minibar preferences I was asked to provide were ignored. * Staff in common areas failed to address disruptive behavior (e.g., attempting to turn restaurant into personal conference room) that comparable properties routinely manage. * A main path to the spa was closed for multiple days without notice. Spa treatments ranged from mediocre to poor, with no noticeable results from a 90-minute facial. If my word does not suffice, the aesthetician I saw at the Four Seasons only days later was stunned I had received a facial at all based on my skin’s condition. To be clear, the property is gorgeous, with lush grounds, abundant wildlife (iguanas, birds, deer), and beautiful casitas. However, none of that compensates for the poor service level. If you have allergies, sensitivities, or any health-related requirements, I strongly recommend choosing another property. This hotel will tell you they can accommodate you. Based on my experience, they cannot.

Fabulous experience. World class attention to detail and design . Staff was personable, attentive and very kind. Food was artful and creative. Accommodations and facilities were A+.
