Amazing private Resort In the Yucca tan

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 hours ago

A really amazing Resort if you really want get away in complete privacy and seclusion this is an amazing resort! Top Notch restaurant with amazing chef, wonderful activities each room comes with its own set of bikes to ride around the grounds and enjoy the Fantastic Yucatan rainforest very spiritual and the setting is on a Cenote where the gym and the spa overlook. It's a real pleasure to watch the sunrise or Sunset as you are working out over this beautiful body of water. The staff is above and beyond always eager to please we are huge fans of the Four Seasons and stay there often and this is ranked right up there with them. Details like incredible bedding indoor outdoor showers private pool in each room makes it a wonderful Sanctuary the grounds are Lush and large and architecture of the new and also keeping the old is really a delight our favorite memory from this hotel is sitting in the cigar tequila bar while sipping on their private collection of tequila and watching the fireflies glisten on the spansive lawn

Absolutely unique

This is a truly outstanding hotel, you cannot imagine the size of the premises and that perfectly maintained. It is a former hacienda with many beautiful old buildings and structures artfully blending with the modern parts. Stunningly beautiful and so peaceful. Literally the size of a small country. Incredible spa with the views of a cenote. Rooms of very generous size with a nice pool, every room is a private villa hidden in the jungle. Yes it is rather remote and quiet, if this is what you are looking for, just go, it is one of a kind!

Chable Yucatan is Wonderful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We loved Chable Yucatan. The staff was warm, welcoming and fantastic at anticipating our needs. The location (see photos) could NOT be better, prettier or better cared for. The casitas are perfectly arranged, well equipped and outfitted with wonderful bedding. The property is pretty large, but they not only provide bicycles, they arrive almost instantly with golf carts to take you everywhere. The lay out is essentially spa at one end, pool at the other with the casitas completely hidden in-between, so you are really pretty close to everything, while experiencing absolute privacy. We did use the spa. The staff was super skilled, and they took their Mayan tradition seriously. You could feel the grace, magic and power of it in every service. The food was everything that you would expect from a Michelin two star and, at pool side, easy and approachable. Yes, the pool hamburger is over-priced (as reviewers have said), but everything else is pretty typical of american prices for similar things. My advice: order something more authentic. There is a burger place in the airport (if you must have one, go there). How do you achieve this level of dining and hospitality in a wild, relatively remote spot? How did arguably the top hotel in North America end up here? It is a mystery, but a mystery that we will certainly be drawn back to.

Website says the rate is in MXN Peso but we were charged in USD

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We booked a room here after seeing a Mexican resident special on their website that plainly states the room rate is charged in Mexican pesos. It wasn’t until we arrived to check in it was revealed the $4,872 for one night was charged to our card in US Dollars. Management refused to refund the charge and fought the dispute I filed with my card. They are insisting we pay nearly $5,000 for one night in a hotel we did not stay in and never would have booked if their own website didn’t say the rate was in pesos.

Amazing hotel and experience. Each corner is an artwork where architecture, design, history and landscaping combine perfectly. The staff is welcoming, kind and proud of the hotel.
