We had a great 7 night stay at the W. A stunning location, lovely room on the top floor, great selection of buffet and a la carte and setting for breakfast with lovely pools and beach options. Good range of dining options across the hotels and local villages/towns. Also liked the fact that adults only as our children have now grown up. Would definitely return.

I booked a WOW Agora Bayfront 1 bedroom suite with private rooftop pool and we actually ended up in the 2 bedroom version (not complaining!). This was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. The suite was spacious and very well appointed with tons of comfortable seating throughout. Although it was only 2 of us in the suite, you could comfortably have 4 people stay in it and not run out of space. Both bathrooms had nice-sized showers, with the main bathroom having a freestanding bathtub and a bidet toilet. There is a nice sized patio off of the living room with lots of seating and a big table and beautiful sea views. There is a dining table inside as well with a small kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, bottles of water, snacks, drinking glasses, bottle opener, coffee/tea, etc). We received a lovely welcome bottle of Moet champagne and some tasty snacks that we enjoyed before heading up to the rooftop pool. From the rooftop pool, you have fantastic views of the ocean and coastline in addition to views of the Agora (the marketplace area right outside of the suite). We spent a lot of time up here and there were plenty of options for seating, with 2 individual sunbeds as well as 1 larger sunbed and a moveable and adjustable umbrella for shade. Access to the beach was a very short walk around the corner of the building. The room had plenty of beach/swim towels provided, and you could also always request more when needed and someone would promptly come over with more. They also provided a set of handy swimsuit bags (for keeping your wet swimsuit separate from all your other clothes in your suitcase), a tote bag (which we used for the beach), sunscreen, and W branded flip flops. We had breakfast every morning with a variety options for food and drink and service was always prompt and attentive. We ate at the main restaurant Parelia twice--on our first night and our last night and it was excellent both times! On our last night we got the seafood pasta for 2 and it was delicious (highly recommend!). We saw a lot of people getting the whole fish and seafood and that looked (and smelled) super tasty as well. We were able to make last minute reservations both times, but we came towards the end of the season so I'm not sure how busy it would be during peak season. There are a lot of dining and shopping options in the Agora as well, and because we were there towards the end of the season all of the shops were having sales on merchandise (20-40% off). Its a nice little area to walk around and explore, including a pharmacy in case you need bandaids or run out of sunscreen, etc. We found the service to be prompt, attentive, competent, and friendly during our stay. We loved the little gifts at turn down service (we got skincare samples, lip balm, lavender satchets, and jam) and the lovely departing gift (a nice sized bottle of greek olive oil and a bar of the seed and honey crackers). We went up to concierge to inquire about getting a W Costa Navarino branded hat (just for fun! we have gotten hats from other resorts before and they're fun little souvenirs) and Anastasia tried so hard to find us some but I think because we were there at the end of the season they had run out. At check out the next day, however, she had left us a little gift of some branded swag she had managed to find (a W scented candle--the same scent they use in the lobby, a W branded beach pouch, and some biscuit snacks) and a sweet note. We had to leave early to catch our flight and the gentleman who helped us with our bags from the room not only had our car ready and waiting for us at the front but also had all our luggage loaded as well. Gold stars all around! There is a lot to explore outside of the resort as well. There are a few castles around the area and we also went to Voidokilia Beach (highly recommend but you should bring your own towels, water, beach related supplies, etc as there are no shops or anything at this very natural beach). There are sleepy little towns to explore nearby and although we did not end up going, the Westin/Romanos nearby has some restaurant and shops as well (and I believe there are shuttles that will take you between the W and the Westin/Romanos area). Overall, this was a wonderful end of summer stay for us. We will be back!

This was my second visit to the hotel after first visiting with a friend in 2023. This time I came with my partner. The hotel is just as lovely as the first time I visited and I was glad I returned! A few points: - booked a sunset view king room this time, this was on the top floor and was a lovely view of the resort, sea and sunset - we tipped the maid a few euros a day and in return received lots of water & coffee pods (which we requested). There is a choice of pillows if you prefer a firmer pillow. Also the turndown service is lovely - if you are out of the room when they come round they clean the bathroom up, fresh towels, and leave a little different gift nightly! I think they come about 7-8pm. - whatever whenever are excellent - I whatsapped them and they made all our restaurant/taxi bookings including getting us front row tables at restaurants in the local village Gialova. Thank you! - a note on the taxis - they are few and far between still. You need to book your taxi in advance and stick to the time. It was €10 each way to Gialova which is a terrible rip off considering it takes 4 minutes in the car but it’s supply & demand I suppose! - the cook to order breakfast menu is no longer advertised, but you can order anything. I had avocado egg on toast every day! - we used the gym which is well equipped. I did a yoga class which was challenging & very enjoyable! - the swimming pool is gorgeous and even when busy still feels very zen - I was disappointed that the between bar still appears to be hardly open or underused. I feel like it should open at 3 or 4pm for golden hour cocktails and photos but it doesn’t open until 6, and even then was unstaffed the 2 times we went there, which was a shame! - also, a new motorway is being built from Kalamata to Costa Navarino, so probably next summer there will be better connections and it won’t be a wind-y 50 min drive through the hills from the airport. Based on this the area may become less exclusive, so go whilst it’s still a little unheard of corner of Greece!!! I’d return again 🙂

Our third stay at the W Hotel. The location and accommodations are absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and housekeeping is excellent — fresh towels twice a day, which is perfect. However, the level of service no longer feels five-star, as it did during our first two visits. Breakfast is chaotic, and there was a lack of visible or approachable supervisors. It’s unfortunate to see so many temporary, inexperienced young staff across key areas like reception, the pool bar, breakfast area, and beach service. That said, it can be different — a big compliment to Alexandros (Valet Parking) and Augustuna (at Piqantro), who are both experienced and truly friendly. Despite the downsides, we will definitely return again.

Spent a week at the lovely W Hotel. We’d picked the W as it was over 12s and was not disappointed. Booked through my agent and so benefitted from the additional Luminous Benefits package. Our original booking was for a 2 bed beach front suite but upon checking we had been upgraded to a magnificent beach front villa. It was immaculate and housekeeping excellent. We enjoyed the main pool and wet deck was great - service very good and the food in general was also good. No problems getting sunbeds around the pool and they had cabanas overlooking the pool which were rarely used. Ate every morning at Platia , which apart from one day was great. Aris the manager was amazing though….Also ate at Parrelia (wasn’t overly impressed) the W lounge (best burger), Piquantro (amazing), Santorre (good) as well as a few restaurants in the local village. The only one to note was the Italian restaurant on the sea front. Our only complaint was that we ran out of hot water twice - which seems bizarre given the occupancy of the villa was technically 6 and we were only 3 people. Whilst there was nothing the hotel could do it meant we had to time showers so not run out of hot water. The hotel did recognise this. Overall a great stay, will return and recommend if you want a luxury hotel in an unspoilt area in Greece and no hoards of entitled kids!
