W Costa Navarino

Having visited Costa Navarino repeatedly since 2015, this was our first stay at the W as a family with our teenage son. The resort fully lives up to the high expectations associated with the W brand. The property is more compact than the resorts in Romanos, with everything within easy reach, while still having access to the facilities across the wider Costa Navarino resort complex. The W’s beachfront location is exceptional and arguably one of the resort’s greatest assets. The rooms are stylish and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a diverse international (over 12 years only) clientele. Breakfast was very good, while the food and drinks at the beach restaurant were excellent. The vast majority of the team delivered friendly, attentive and professional service. A special mention goes to the Whatever/Whenever Team and the W Insiders. From our first interaction, they were incredibly responsive, helpful and reliable. After several interactions prior to our arrival, they surprised us with a spectacular upgrade to a beachfront suite with a large terrace and private pool, during peak season no less. To borrow W’s own terminology, it was a true “WOW” moment. The only very minor point, and very much a matter of personal taste, was the background music, which occasionally felt a touch too loud in the restaurants. However, this is clearly part of the W concept and not something that came as a surprise. With four outstanding 18-hole courses, each with its own distinct character, Costa Navarino is arguably unrivalled as a golf destination in Southern Europe. Beyond the resorts themselves, the region has also developed impressively in recent years and offers plenty to discover. Overall, this was quite possibly our best stay in Costa Navarino so far, made all the more memorable by an extraordinary suite in a truly prime beachfront setting. Just back from a week at W Costa Navarino and honestly can’t fault it. We had a 2 bedroom suite right on the beach which was perfect - beautifully done and just a wonderful base for the week. The sunsets here are something else, truly amazing every single evening. Food at the main restaurant on the beach was excellent. Gym facilities were great too, and the spa massages were superb. One of the highlights was the outside cinema - we watched The Odyssey and saw shooting stars while we watched. A special mention to Kostas the manager, who along with his team did an outstanding job accommodating all our requests throughout the stay - nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

I've lost a couple of items from my room and when I complain to the manager she admitted that they do recieved 30+ complains daily of guests missing items! Which means they are used to this issue and it seems that they are not trying to fix it!

A huge thank you to the wonderful W Insiders team at W Costa Navarino for making my birthday a little more special. Even at 1 a.m., when the bar and kitchen were already closed, they went above and beyond to prepare a beautiful birthday cake, a glass of rosé, and even sang “Happy Birthday” for me. 🥂🎂 Such a thoughtful and unforgettable gesture! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with a prime location, gorgeous rooms, stunning pools, and an amazing breakfast and many restaurant options. There is also so much happening in the surrounding area, including great events and concerts, which makes the location even more enjoyable.What really stood out, though, was the kindness of the entire team! Thank you, W Costa Navarino, for such a memorable stay and for making my birthday special. ❤️ An awesome place that I would happily return to and highly recommend!

W is for wow. W is for wonderful. W is for Whatever you want, this place is fantastic. Me and my girlfriend decided to treat ourselves to a kid free break and settled on Greece due to the ease of border entry. Firstly Kalamata airport isn’t much bigger than a shed so you’re through in 15 minutes and off to your resort. We arrived at the W Hotel and the greeting was warm and efficient, but from the moment you step in to this hotel it is obvious that you are staying in a quality hotel…. It is clean modern and smells lovely. The sunsets are fantastic and the beach is clean with plenty of sun-beds We had a swim up room that was a great size , was spotlessly clean and well furnished. Now to the service . Room excellent Reception excellent W lounge excellent Breakfast excellent Beach excellent Honestly I couldn’t complain about anything . There are 4 top quality golf courses to play and again the staff there were top class. The hotel offers some lovely onsite dining options, but there are 2 easily reachable villages either side of the bay that offer excellent options for traditional Greek food so we ate out a fair bit also. Big thanks to Mike on the beach, he couldn’t do enough for us, and the guys in the W lounge for great service and cocktails.
