Stayed for seven days for a conference and it was so problematic to stay for another week with my wife that I left and stayed elsewhere. Self and colleagues (10) amongst hundreds of others were very much ‘captives’ of the hotel and victims of poor disinterested staff on checking-in: over-charged, lack of information on basics such as meals, WiFi and gym; and failure to take a deposit so couldn’t use the fridge in the rooms or order room service etc. My stay was saved by the excellent conceriege and porters who solved a lot of problems caused by reception. Breakfast was pricy but excellent with outstanding staff. The bar and staff were the worse I have ever seen more interested in chatting amongst themselves and looking at their cells/mobiles - 15 minute waits to get the eye of a server in an empty bar plus another 15 for a drink to clem and another 15 to get the bill followed by a further 15 to pay! Closed most of the time and when open it had blaring music that was turned-up to chase away the few customers bravely trying to get served. One evening at 19:00 no drinks were available for 25 minutes because the only barman (Edwin) was away (appeared without comment) and he took him 10-15 minutes to open a bottle of beer. There was a separate tea/coffee dock area where the staff were far better and pleasant. Staff constantly chasing tips and small bottles of water costing €9!! Stay elsewhere and have a far better stay in wonderful Mexico City.

The food here is amazing, among other plates you must try the chilaquiles they are so delicious, customer service is great ! And the locations is great, many restaurants, bars and night clubs a few blocks away, the hotel is quite and seems very private. Definitely a great place to be

good location, but the food is bad and expensive, it was a nightmare to ask the front desk to divide my bill in different days, very large hotel with tons of stairs

Overpriced bad food and a walking nightmare

Beautiful elegant hotel - excellent service centric near everything. The building is a classic iconic building in Mexico City. The service couldn’t be more corteous and warm.
