Due to a cancelled flight we found ourselves booking into this hotel and it was a real treat. Quirky modern yet serene … It’s behind the Cathedral but designed as such that you don’t hear the bells, we slept very soundly. Room design is beyond quirky and minimalist, but with a flair. On the rooftop is a oool restaurant bar and breakfast room. Angelica is the nicest person and works extremely hard and always smiles with a genuine warmth. Flight delays never looked so great Thank You.

Hotel Circulo is a combination of modern simplicity retaining old architecture of the building itself. We stayed only for one night but the experience was absolutely fantastic. It is located right at the Zocalo Plaza so you can explore the area easily. The rooftop is amazing and they also serve very good drinks and food. The rooms are spacious and I loved the comitment to every detal. Beds are super comfy. We ould definitely come back. Keep in mind to check the traffic as we had quite a problem to arrive there due to Sunday market.

Still at the hotel for another night Arrival: Be cautious because some uber drivers may leave you 2 blocks from the hotel stating “ we can’t enter.” They can but they choose not to since it’s a bit of a pain to drive in and out but nothing unmanaged Staff: More than friendly! By far the best staff I’ve work with outside of the Sheraton in Santo Domingo. When we checked in - Free shot of tequila Guard told us we should have called and they would have picked us up (uber left us 6 blocks away) Free welcome drink at the terrace Someone should be everything in the room (never had that) Location: A lot of great food

This hotel is unique and absolutely beautiful. Top notch customer service, great breakfast and rooftop restaurant. The bed was comfortable and decor unique. A great respite from the busy streets of the historical center. I loved the shops in the courtyard!

This hotel was a bit of a disappointment. I don’t necessarily recommend it. If you want to stay right next to the Zócalo and adjacent to downtown, then the location might be compelling. But the hotel itself is not run all that well and the staff is mixed, with some not very dialed into hospitality. Unlike other Marriott affiliated hotels, you cannot message the hotel from the BonVoy app. For that matter, it’s not even easy to find an email address for this hotel. The rooms are of such an extreme minimalist design as to be cold and austere. It’s not inexpensive and greater values can be found elsewhere for hotels of comparable or better quality. I do generally like boutique hotels, but this place left me flat. I won’t stay there again.
