Sort Yourselves Out!

Service with zero smiles. Bad attitude from staff. They won’t acknowledge you unless you tip them - I hope they realise they have to actually do something to earn the tip. As a guest you are a commodity not a person. Non Mexicans not welcome. It was our first time in Mexico City because we are not resort type people but we won’t be going back. We understand that people are oppressed and work hard but everyone else does that in every other country so you guys are going to have to pull yourselves together. A few times in the bar I ushered to speak with a member is staff & they never came. Some were manager level in suits. We had lounge access- the staff there were no better there. Totally abrupt. You don’t feel relaxed at all. Food choices were poor. This city could flourish if they welcomed their foreign guests but they don’t. For this reason we will not be going back as the overall experience from the hotel and the city was not enjoyable. The concierge service was also poor No information given en route to the suites Ie that there is a Spa, or live music on Thursdays or other events just pure silence. We heard other bellboys providing a lot of information to Spanish guests- just not us. Big thumbs down and we won’t be recommending it (hotel or city). A lot of training required. Managers should be travelling to other countries to see what they are competing with because what they are doing here is barely a 2 star service. Dear Mexicans- open your minds and understand what customer service really is. People are happy to tip if they feel they didn’t get a side dish of bad attitude to go with the ask. A smile will do it- so if you are unhappy or miserable do not work in hospitality or customer service because you are dragging your own country down.

Great location

Great hotel. I was here for a work event. The area around the hotel is park and shopping, it felt very safe. No problems. I really liked the location, there were lots of tourists at this hotel too. Breakfast was an enormous spread, many choices. The restaurants in the lobby were very good. Hotel arranged taxi was professional. I would return to this hotel for vacation

Great Hotel!

The pictures really don’t do this hotel justice. Walking in is such a refreshment coming in from the congestion of traveling. It is beautiful, spacious, open, clean and welcoming. I am always hesitant when traveling somewhere new so I always appreciate things that hotels do to ease your mind. The elevators requires a key touch for each floor you need to go to and there is a valet service for your rental. The halls are quiet and well kept. The staff were able to accommodate our requests for room types. We were on the 25th floor, executive rooms, and the views are amazing including Bella’s Artes. The rooms had all your basic needs, no complaints there. The AC was a bit confusing to figure out at first. We had it on the fan setting which we figured out at night that it was not what we needed because it was so hot. A quick adjustment solved that issue. The executive lounge really made this hotel special. Breakfast and happy hour was great. Thanks to the servers and wait staff they were always friendly and happy to help! They do require a signature and give you a receipt but it’s really just for you to identify your room number and tipping service. The pool is heated inside. We traveled with kids so they really enjoyed it. The location is walking distance to many places including a McDonald’s next door. Lol. Traveling with 4 kids who sometimes were too picky or fussy it helped to give them something familiar. Also thanks so much to Carlos the entertainment planner! I reached out to him to do a small gesture to celebrate my dad’s birthday. He walked in to find a birthday banner set up and slices of cake to his surprise. He loved it!

Ourstanding Experience!!!!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. For the last 2 years, I been a regular customer of restaurant LOS DONES. I tried a lot of options for breakfast in Mexico and around the world, theres nothing better for cost and price benefit. But on beyond that, their service is outstanding, my parents love to come, they consider Victor, Abraham, Juanito and Luis as friends. Every Sunday we are here at 9:30. At Hilton, we feel at home!!!! Thank for this great experience. Rogelio
