This is in a great location. Able to walk to shops and restaurants. Very safe. You can also walk to the park and the museum from here. We had a suite which was spacious and clean. The clubroom was also spacious with a good selection at night. We had breakfast at the buffet downstairs which had a lot of different options. The staff was so so. Could have been a little bit more friendly. The weird thing was that when I asked to get a late check out as a globalist they told me that there was no late check out when you stayed in a suite. I always stay in a suite and have never heard that at any Hyatt property.

The Hyatt Regency Polanco is in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance to Chupeltepec park, the anthropology museum, museum of history, and filled with lovely tree-lines streets. All the staff were increasingly, the bathrooms are large and the beds are great. We felt so welcome in the club each day. Definitely stay here!

This hotel is just ok, in my opinion. I was very disappointed by the service, although Saul at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. I had sent room requests to the Globalist representative at the hotel and said I would arrive between 12-1. When I got here at 1, there wasn't a room ready. Ok, no problem, I can wait in the lounge. Well they offered me the business centre on the first floor! Why not the Globalist lounge?! I asked if they could tell me when the room was ready and they said no, I had to come back at 3. So when I returned, the first room I was offered didn't have a view of the park and was just on the 14th floor. I found this very disappointing. Aside from the first email from their Globalist team, there was never any mention of Globalist status, no upgrade offered, nothing. I ended up on the 33rd floor but because the curtains only open to one side, most of my view is a building under construction. Saul, who was fantastic, offered that we could change rooms the next day, but that's a hassle. I just wished the Globalist team had prepared something for me. The facilities are excellent but the service is generally a bit inconsistent. At times it is very slow to get drinks in the lounge, and often there's no staff in the gym so I couldn't use a locker. The worst part is that the mattresses seem to be quite old and sagging in the middle and both my husband and I had a tough time sleeping and woke with sore backs. Like I said, the facilities here are fabulous and the lounge is excellent. We especially loved the gym. But I would probably not choose this hotel over the Insurgentes one, unless I needed to be in Polanco for some reason.

My son and I enjoyed a lovely 8 night stay at the wonderful Hyatt Regency Polanco. The location, room, food, gym, and pool were all terrific. The friendliness of the hard-working staff in the club lounge truly made our experience memorable-a special thank you to Obed Rafael, Claudia, Francisco, Alfredo & Alondra. This is our second stay at this hotel, and I just booked a return visit. Highly recommend!

A very nice reasonably priced hotel in a very posh Polanco neighborhood - walkable with plenty of restaurants and stores. Walking distance to Chapultepec forest and Anthropology museum.
